After reading all the positive reviews I went there to check it out for myself and i was so impressed with the customer service & Job they did that I'll definitely be back again! SANITATION & CLEANLINESS & COVID-19 AWARENESS IS ON POINT HERE . they gave me hand sanitizer, they checked my temperature, they cleaned off all the seats and stuff I would be using. I really appreciate the care they had to make sure customers felt safe and comfortable. 1) PARKING IN THE REAR! This place is easy to find and they have a lot of parking in the back. So did not fear! I always get anxious as a newbie to NY about tryna find parking but here you are GOOD! No parallel parking skills are required. 2) THEY ACCEPT WALKINs! I showed up at 4:30 on a Friday, they were quite busy but were able to accommodate me in about 20 minutes which was super nice and that was enough time for me to figure out what color i wanted to go with. 3) JULIE TOOK CARE OF MY CUTICLES & ANY NAIL PATRON KNOWS THAT IS KEY! She made sure to pay attention as to not scrub off my nail bed and it was a painless experience! I appreciate that SO MUCH. She asked me many questions along the way to make sure that I got exactly what I wanted. (Length, shape, she checked both hands simultaneously to make sure they were even. She got my stamp of approval) . I even told Her to surprise me with my 4th finger design and SHE SLAYEDDDD. 4) GET THE GEL PEDI, IT WAS SO WORTH IT TREAT YOSELF & THE MASSAGE CHAIR WAS AMAZING! omg so the ultimately highlight was getting my gel Pedi. I was so happy with how the lady massaged My legs, put multiple creams, scrubs, warm stuff on my feet! It was so nice after a long day of working. I got very unique toes (super tiny nails) and I'm Happy with how they came out. Usually ppl butcher tf outta them so this was nice. 5) EVERYONE WAS SO FRIENDLY. REALLY GOOD VIBES ALL OVER! No one was talking shit about customers like in other nail salons I've been to. Everyone was vibing and it really felt like a ZEN PALACE! I LOVED IT ALL! I'll def be back. When I called to make an appointment, I let them know I was a first-time customer for them. I was warmly welcomed and given an appointment that worked with my schedule for the next day. When I got there I checked in on Yelp and was so excited to see a 10% off coupon for first-time customers. That excitement was quickly deflated when I was advised that they were not honoring it any more and they have asked Yelp to take it down but they haven't. Unfortunately, this was where they lost a star in my rating. :( Despite that, the experience was very relaxing, calm & professional. We didn't feel rushed at all, which I really liked. On this visit, we splurged on a mani pedi for both myself and my daughter. Where do I begin!!!! I was greeted nicely and barely waited and I didn't have an appointment. I got extremely lucky with the most perfect and funny nail technician I have ever had. Her name is Delilah. Truthfully she needs to be the head nail technician there (even though I haven't had anyone else) she really sealed my experience. I will never go anywhere else going forward nor use anyone else. The main thing amongst others was that she was SO knowledgeable and patient with me about the different services they had and that she made it clear the choice was mine (did not push any expensive options on me like most nail salons do). Thank you so much for having her apart of your staff and for being so close to my job where I could even go on my lunch break or right after work. Once she starts, it was clear she didn't know how to - totally fine. So we switch to French. The French tips were very thick and also bulky to the point where you could feel the tips were thicker. I paid, tipped $30 and left because I had been there for hours as they took me 45 minutes after my appointment. I also hate confrontation so I didn't say anything (my fault). Next day I call and politely explain the situation. They said no problem. I switched to cat eye - management tries gaslighting me saying my nails were fine and that "there's no one available to fix them now anyway" - not true as I called and scheduled an appointment. Told me it would be a $10 up charge. I politely asked if they could waive the fee for the inconvenience. Was told ok hold on and she walked away. New tech comes and re does my nails and tells me at the end it's an upcharge of $10 - while I understand the charge, and $10 is not a lot, it's the principle. I now paid $10 and tipped the new tech again. $120 in total for a cateye gel manicure and 4 hours of my time. Explained to management I would not be returning and ad I left, management was yelling price differences at me as I walked out. Unprofessional and greedy business.
