We spent a lot of money for what was supposed to be a relaxing, enjoyable experience. Instead, it was completely ruined when 4 different technicians actually demanded a tip before we even left. I found this behavior extremely rude, inappropriate, and insulting. I always tip generously in cash once everyone's service is done, but being hounded for money on the spot was unacceptable. When I spoke to the manager, I was told that "they work for tips," as if that somehow excuses such behavior. It doesn't. After spending hundreds of dollars, the last thing I expected was to be pressured and embarrassed in front of my family and other patrons. The lack of professionalism and respect was truly disappointing. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge management to train their staff on proper customer service and etiquette.

Today was my second time going. My first time was an amazing experience with Mia; she did my…read morewedding nails and I cannot recommend her enough. Today was a much less pleasant experience. Firstly, I waited until 3:45 to be called back for my 3:15 appointment; after waiting the half hour, I found out I was double booked with someone else. I was told someone else would help me and waited until ~4pm to be called over. The first person to help me was extremely skilled with nail art, but there was a miscommunication and the shape and length of my nails was nowhere near what I wanted. I don't fully put this on him. However, when I explained how unhappy I was and asked if we could start over, I was told he had a different appointment coming soon and he didn't have time. I asked for him to soak them off instead. I was dumped at the back counter with a bowl of acetone and was given no assistance in filing the nails off by him. Eventually, I flagged someone asking if I could see Mia (my original appt) later in the evening. That person then helped me file off the nails and reschedule. I was not offered to get my (booked) pedicure while I waited. My poor review is NOT for the quality of nails I received today: it is for the incredibly frustrating experience of spending 4 hours in a nail salon, NOT getting the pedicure I wanted, and feeling like I was being bounced around and punished for their overbooking. I am incredibly disappointed in this experience, as the one before my wedding was wonderful and now the one before my honeymoon ruined my day and evening's schedule. They are capable of wonderful nail art here. I think everyone here is very skilled, regardless of who you get. I am disappointed I can't vouch past that. (Mia is still an absolute doll!)
