A review for a gel manicure with an add on of a previous gel manicure removal (from another place) It took 45 minutes to remove a two week old gel manicure.. maybe, it's bc the nail tech here , in order: placed a thin piece of cotton on my nail , held on in place with her nail , and poured a drop of acetone onto her nail to "pour" onto the cotton. Yep. You read me right. That's how it went. Every 10 minutes she checked to see it my old polish was ready to be removed and , lo and behold, it wasn't , so there she went again wasting precious acetone onto her own unpolished nails to use as a slide to guide the remover to the flimsy piece of cotton covering my nail. As you can figure out : hardly any got to the cotton before evaporating and what was absorbed by the cotton was inadequate. The manicure was meh. First off , she , during the entire time I was there , constantly told me that my nails were thin. I'm fine with criticism if given as advice but she said it soo much that it became insulting. I go to a salon of any sort to feel beautiful , not self conscious. I love manicurists that pay attention to cuticles. She cut them haphazardly that left ragged edges. My "under nail" clean up was done with her looking to the side and giving a quick , perfunctory swipe with a god knows sanitary metal nail cleaner. The products they use are CHEAP. Everything from the nail polish to the oily hand cream. I'll give a few stars bc they are nice. That's it. read more

I went here on a whim after seeing their good reviews and my usual nail salon being overbooked. I called with little notice and asked to come in for a fill, she said it was no problem and I showed up 15 minutes later and was seen immediately. The woman who did my nails, Tammy, was extremely pleasant and held very strong conversations with me during my visit. The tools were all clean and hygienic, new files and buffers which you usually don't see at your average nail salon. I already had a good shape to my nails but the way she filed them looked amazing, they are the perfect shape and length. The polish is your average DND Gel polish but she applied it well and it came out great. Overall this place is a hidden gem and they definitely won me over, would highly recommend! read more

I found this secret wonderful nail shop greenpath nails in oakdale after trying almost every nail shop in sayville . They do the best gel & powdered gel manicures around & never have I had a better pedicure. I love the disposable files they use very sanitary & the quiet atmosphere is very relaxing. Based on the reviews, I gave this nail salon a try. I was a walk in without an appointment. There were 2 nail techs and 4 patrons. I said I can come back, but they insisted they could handle it. They were going back and forth between patrons. It took much longer to complete my basic pedicure than I anticipated. I made an appointment for today for 1130 with Amy. I walked in a few mins early. She tells me if I can come back tomorrow! That her customer before me came in late. I say NO. After a few minutes later of more waiting she says the other nail tech will do my nails when she's done as that nail tech was already with a customer. No sorry ,nothing. Now it's after 1200 in the afternoon. Mind you my appointment was for 1130. Still waiting. Then the best part is that then she asks me to move so now she can do the manicure of the LATE customer. I was furious. I explained to her that she should have called me to let me know that her customer was late. Also that I should not be made to wait as I had made an appointment that is the point of making an appointment. She tells me that it would possibly be 20 minutes longer . So now Im telling her I'm leaving so now the other techs are looking because I'm furious and they are now overhearing what is going on. One of the nail techs the Asian lady says, 'oh you had an appointment at 1130 and you are still waiting, oh' . I explained to her ,Amy and them how this is all ridiculous. I said I was leaving and walked out. This is what happens unfortunately when the Manager Lina is not there. What Amy should have done was take the LATE customer until I arrived for my appointment then had another tech finish on her, or not taken her at all because she was late and it wasn't just a few minutes obviously. i called up to see how much a single color gel fill-in would cost, first of all the woman answers the phone "hi?" and that's it. so i asked her how much a gel fill-in cost, the woman replies "i don't know......" then hangs up on me!!! so i called back and asked again...she replied "i don't know i think 25 and up" i said "what do you mean you think? i would like to know how much it costs before i come down there. is there someone else i can speak to" she said "we don't know. 25 and up" i was like "so you just pick random prices and charge people for that price?!" and she said "i don't know" so i just hung up....how do you not know how much you are charging people for your service!?! and to hang up on me while i am asking a very simple question....i'll take my business elsewhere. ‍ read more

I tried this one after using another in Sayville on the recommendation of my niece. The workers are very conscientious and mine did an excellent job on my difficult toes. Also the equipment was clean and newer. I liked the way they had it all set up very efficiently. I am definitely switching to this one.
