I was looking for a back up nail salon to go to when I'm in the Suffolk County area. Found this place on YELP and decided to try it. My previous powdered gel manicure was looking tacky, I was way overdue for a manicure. I also needed a pedicure, ASAP. I called to make sure they were open, as today is a holiday (10/09-2023). A very pleasant man answered and asked what service(s) I needed and told me I could come right over. I arrived about 10:30 to a very spacious and super clean salon. Benny greeted me warmly and got right to work. I was pleased that he soaked off the gel instead of filing it off. This is so much better for the health of the nails. Benny was extremely gentle yet thorough with my pedicure. The foot massage was heavenly! I decided to get a regular manicure to give my nails a break. This meant sitting under the dryer to set my nail polish. Remember we used to do that religiously before the gels came along? And of course, one nail was smeared while going into my pocketbook to get my wallet. Benny promptly fixed it for me and was really pleasant about it! I am very happy with how my nails came out and the quality of the service I received. This will be my go to salon when I'm in the Suffolk County area! I look forward to returning. read more

I popped in today at 6pm and they closed at 7pm according to Google. I was there for a regular pedicure and they told me to come right in. From the beginning everything was being extremely rushed. The person finished in less than 15 mins. There was a man who was mopping the floor and standing at the door waiting to leave. As I'm sitting to dry my toes the lady at the register asks me to pay now so that she can "close the machine" now it's 6:20pm. So I asked her "what time do you close?" Because now I know they're trying to get me out. The man says 7pm. "My daughter has a fever so we want to leave early" and the child was sleeping on the chair up front. so then why did they agree to take me in when they could've easily told me they were closing early. I would've understood 100% but instead they took me in and rushed and made me feel so uncomfortable. I would not come back. read more

Came here today for a pedicure and decided to get Lemon Pedis with my husband, having gotten these before. Unfortunately, our experience was less than satisfactory. this was a regular pedicure with a 10 minute massage. There were no lemon creams or lemon anything involved. They used the same products used for a regular pedicure. It's so deceptive to advertise one thing and deliver another. The entire process from start to finish was about 20 minutes for a pedicure that we paid extra for. I am so disappointed and unfortunately, will NOT be visiting this establishment again. read more

This place deserves more reviews- I started coming here a little less than a year ago and the staff have always been so nice. This was my first time getting French tips as I wanted them for a photoshoot and I must say it's 10/10! I was very nervous getting them done but now I'm obsessed. Came here to have my gel x nails removed from a different place , all their professionalism went out the window once they started to use a metro card to rip my nails off , it took my nails about a year to get what they used to be , I kept trying to explain to them usually they soak them off and they're hurting me and they just continued to burn my nails with the filer machine and kept using the metro card , don't come here read more

I was referred here by a friend and needed to get my nails done after work. They were able to get me in for an appointment the same evening which was tonight!! I got there and they gave me a book to choose a gel color and first of all they didn't have much of a selection. On top of having a limited palette to choose from, they didn't have half the colors in the book nor did they have one that I wanted but I settled for one since I was already there and at this point they already started on my nails. Now long story short, not even 24 hours later and my nail polish is completely peeling off-___- very big waste of my time and money. I would not recommend this place!!! read more

I just received a classic pedicure literally so I can't speak to longevity but the tech was sweet and took her time. Very nice lady. The only thing I did not care for was the push to tip. I was about to walk out and because they gave me two different people to perform services, the man at the front made sure to tell me who did my eyebrows as I was walking out. Nice and loud. I don't think he meant to shame me but I didn't like it nonetheless. I didn't ask for two people to provide services. Three actually, since the man began my pedicure process before turning it over. I'm not a regular at salons, so maybe this is standard practice? Might make me rethink coming back - have to see how long my pedi lasts. So I went on Saturday to get my nails done and by Sunday my entire left hand was loose and coming away I come back to get them fixed the woman was not only rude and nasty the entire time she told me she was too busy to take her time to fix my nails I gave her a $22 tip for a thank you should redo my nails numerous times for it to still look like crap I will never go back there again not only did she talk about me in her language the entire time he pulled in tubs on my arms because she was angry because I came in complaining that they did not do a good job read more

3 of us went in together this morning all for manicures and pedicures. The lady was friendly at first until my wife changed her mind and no longer wanted a gel manicure but a regular manicure. We were rushed, then mani and pedis were terrible and the nail polish seemed like it had been thinned because 2 coats still looked terrible. Will never go back here read more

I live in Commack, and have followed her from commack to lindenhurst then Huntington and now ronkonkoma!!! She is the best!! Great massages and always very professional!! You will be very happy with Cindy and her staff!! If you are not happy with the way she is doing your manicure or pedicure you should tell her so she can fix the situation!!! I was hesitant to come here after reading the mixed reviews. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and was taken right away. I was very happy with the service. Cindy was polite and did a really nice job. (I got gel powder.) The only thing holding back from a 5 star review is the massage. For a $35 service ($40 since I got French), she only spent about 10 seconds...and I think that is a generous estimate....massaging both of my hands. I know there were other customers waiting, but should've been longer. Over all very good, and I will be back. read more

I was glad that this nail place was open on a Sunday. I walked in and a lady with short hair greeted me. Not sure if she was the owner or married to the owner. Just had an air about her. "Pick a color" she said, "the colors on the right dry faster". It was my first time going to this nail salon. I usually do my own nails because I think it's such a waste of money to begin with. I went in with the mind set of spending the least amount of money. I chose the 7 dollar manicure. The lady in the front failed to tell me that the colors on the right were 4-6 dollars extra. Apparently they "dry faster" ....really? Anyway, I sat, she took my nail polish off and gave me a terrible terrible (I repeat TERRIBLE) hand massage I am guessing it was "7 dollars worthy". About 3 minutes into the manicure I hear "you pay now". (FYI: I've been to nail salons in Nassau county where for 7 dollars they spent a good amount of time massaging my hands). "You pay now 11 dollars". I said "what? I thought it was 7" she got annoyed with me and said "read the sign" in a very annoyed tone. I am still laughing at this tiny sign in my mind, the tiniest freaking sign right above the nail polishes that said "pedicure 6 dollars extra". What the heck is that? She was so annoyed at my ignorance (I failed to read a freaking sign that didn't specify anything) that she decided not to finish my nails. So bottom line, rudest people you will ever encounter. I have been going to this nail salon for at least two years and after today will never go back again. The last few times I've been there have actually been disappointing. The owner is very rude and from what I see, she doesn't want to do anything but sit at her table. Today I walked in for a simple manicure and was happy that the girl I liked was going to do my nails. After sitting down, she didnt even get to cut my cuticles before the owner made her get up and start another customers pedicure that walked in AFTER me. I was left with a guy to finish my manicure. At that time two more customers walked in for pedicures and the owner had to actually work. The guy that was doing my nails then rushed through my hand massage and polishing just to get to the other customers pedicure so the owner didnt have to work. My manicure is the worst, I have polish all over my cuticles and even worse, its a dark color. After today, I will never be going back there again. First, because I have been a good customer to them and they treated me very poorly today. Overall, no appreciation. read more
