They are racist I walk in to get a pedicure and they said.the lady turn around roll her eyes. And said she cannot take any more customers. I walked in at 5pm. They closed at 7pm. Also just before I walked in another lady went in and they service her. Every time I went always got a weird vibe. But this time, they exposed themselves. read more

I had been going to this place for years, even travelled out of town for them at times. They have progressively gone downhill over the past 2 years. There are several techs not doing anything sitting around and you walk in and they want to schedule for an appointment much later in the day bc "this is a busy time". One client in the salon. I dont find myself to be a difficult client, i never complain, all of the ladies know me by name, and no matter what i have done (usually a regular pedicure and an eyebrow waxing) i always tip at least 20$. I think at this point they have forever lost me as a client, which is sad bc i have been loyal to them for over 15 years. read more

So, all these reviews are old! Let's give a more recent one. I just moved into the neighborhood and needed somewhere new to go. Went in, not busy and I went on Christmas Eve. They take your temperature and offer hand sanitizer. They have the clear partitions between you and the nail technicians. All of the staff are wearing their masks appropriately. I'm not going to lie, I was hesitant when I came out and all of a sudden my nails were seemingly still red from the powder gel but honestly a shower or two later and my nails look great. I do not have any complaints and for Christmas, I even got a little lotion. Very sweet ladies in there and I'll probably most likely be going back. They have gel and powder gel. Im happy! The reviews below are 3+ years old- let's give this place better reviews now. read more

My new spot for my pedicures. Prices are soooo affordable and my toes look so good. The girls there are nice and happy to accommodate my schedule. read more

Decent manicure and pedicures here compared to neighboring salons. Also depends on which nail tech you get. I've received a mediocre one last time but the other two times I've visited a nice through cleaning of cuticles and the polish lasted over a week without chipping. read more

The best nail salon in the area. I go to Kim weekly she is amazing. Every lady who works at Bijou is so welcoming and nice. Very clean, on time and experienced staff. Highly recommend this nail salon! read more

I stumbled upon this cute place. My pedicure was great albeit very expensive for the area ($53 with tip). I waited over an hour to put shoes on and nearly all my nails were ruined. Obviously the polish was old and would never dry. A nice experience ruined in the end. If the owner is reading, the best thing you can do besides throwing out outdated product is to offer me a partial refund. read more

Okay where do I start? Rosa Rosa Rosa ... this place and the treatment complete disrespect. I would never imagine going through something like that especially at a nail salon where Chinese women Japanese women Asian woman whatever the case may be a business like that she's always be up to par. I guess it does not matter in this world anymore how you feel about something or what makes the CUSTOMER happy!! I AM VERY OVER I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED AND IT WAS VERY OVERWHELMING BEING THERE ESPECIALLY WITH THE TREATMENT THAT I GOT BACK COMPLETE TOTAL DISRESPECT. I would not recommend this business to anyone not even a business don't even call it a nail salon and I wouldn't even second-guess it to go back you guys are the worst. And I do not apologize for what I'm saying in this negative review it should have got fixed when I was there and not treat me like a dog!! I wish the best of luck for your business and hopefully you keep making money no one wants to be poor!!!! read more

Bijou Nail - I can not believe this! You folks did not even deserve $45.disrespect! How do you make you customers happy! - Nail Salons Near Me - Commack, New York

Went in to try a new spot. Needed an acrylic ombré fill in $65 and an hour later I got a burning UV gel fill ( on top of my acrylic) and an awful looking gel French polish - peeled 3 days later - read more

Made an appointment for 2 pedicures. Not enjoyable being rushed thru a pedicure. I waited 15 minutes while they took my friend immediately and we finished same time. My foot massage was cut short, all shortcuts were made. As she sat drying her toes with a shoulder massage, when I sat down, my tech basically gave me a tap on the back. When the tech cant wait to get done, neither can the customer read more

this is the only place I get my pedicure done. I've never had a bad experience and have been going here for years:)

Came to use a gift card. Informed new owner, bought 2 years ago. Different system so she was unable to honor the gift card. Interestingly you Birthday got the salon name and establish clientele but cant offer even a discount on an unusable ca d through no fault of the customer. read more

This salon is a rip off ...I've been there many times and the owner NEVER has a smile on her face and is very unwelcoming. I got powder gel soaked off and regular gel put on and they charged me $13 extra just for using a different gel (even though it's the exact same soaking process) but didn't even tell me until I was paying. I got charged $48 for a gel manicure...what a disgrace. I will never return to this salon read more

The only reason why I came into this salon was because the one I always go to down the street was busy. The pedicure is $30 and where I usually go it's $23. The ladies did a good job on my mom and I but they worked as if they were in a rush. When my mom and I asked for our nails to be shorter, they were annoyed. I over heard a costumer a couple seats over ask for french and the lady tell her no because it's too hard??? Personally. I will never go back here. read more

This place is super clean! Annie is the owner and a wonderful lady. they offer a lot of services. frank does the best pedicure and Annie does the best manicures and nails. they allow walk-ins which they will usually never turn away. The wait times vary. the best time to go is weekdays before 3 or 4. They are open everyday till 7:30pm except Sunday, they are closed. Prices are average for the area. the accept credit and debit cards, but you cannot put a tip on either of them. read more

I came across this place just driving down Jericho trying to find a salon cheap enough for me and a salon who actually does acrylic. It didn't happen until I came across this one. The front desk girl was very welcoming, she was nice. They charged $35 for a set, which was much cheaper than what I was finding. I sat with Kim, she does ONLY acrylic - so I was told. I came really late, which I didn't know they closed at 7:30 everyday, so two people were actually working on me a little later. They do take credit card, but if you include tip on your card, they charge 50 cents. They do have a TV for entertainment. It was so hot in there, which I told them and the man who works there was kind enough to bring over a fan for me. Great customer service! He also offered me a free 5 minute massage while I was sitting in the chair, super nice of him, too! The front desk receptionist gave me a card that you gain points each time you go there, and when that builds you get discounts. I think that's cool because I've never been to a salon that does that. I loved their selection of nail polishes. They have hundreds to select from, especially Essie! I would definitely come here again, they treated me really great. read more

Just moved to Dix Hills and honestly I found this place from going to beach bum next door. So happy I walked in because I FINALLY got an amazing manicure- now about 5 times since I've gone here everyone has done a fabulous job. Lele, Maria, and Suzanne all so nice. Thank you for the excellent service!!! read more

Friendly staff, walked in very professional people, readily available to help. They understand what clients want.

after my first disappointing visit I was promptly contacted by a very nice woman named Grace I am not sure if she is the owner or a manager but either way she was so nice ... she had addressed all my concerns about my last visit and welcomed me back to give the salon another try she wanted to make sure my experience there would be amazing and on top of it she had offered the re-visit complimentary! well I'm not a silly girl so of course I said yes. I had scheduled my appointment with her and I have to say I made so many changes with date and time I was annoying myself, but she never once was anything but super kind and accommodating to me, the day of my visit my step daughter wanted to come with me so I contacted Grace and asked if she could fit her in as well and of course I would pay for her visit ... and with her friendly attitude she put us both in.... We arrived for our apt and I was greeted with a warm welcome from Grace herself she had us pick out colors then we got started.. I had Vicky and my step daughter had Jay for her feet and Grace for her nails .. we both got amazingly fabulous service very thorough pedicure and manicure we were not rushed at all it was so relaxing ! we are both thrilled with our time there ! after my mani pedi Jay gave me the most amazing shoulder massage while my nails dried after my nails dried I asked to pay the bill and was so surprisingly told that there was no charge for my step daughter as well ... OMG what a treat this was .. they went above and beyond with the generosity and service I can't say enough kind words about them all ... I highly recommend this salon for anyone that wants a wonderful mani pedi and I for sure will be going back again my hands and feet look and feel great !! Thank you Grace for reaching out and having such a great customer service policy you have gained a new customer ! read more

Iris is the BEST!! Love my nails and she is such a sweet person! Beautiful clean salon everyone is super nice and the prices are great. I rarely leave reviews but this place deserves it! read more

This is definitely the best nail salon I've ever been to. I was a client for about 2 years and was so impressed by the cleanliness, professionalism, attentiveness and pleasant atmosphere thanks to everyone there. My technician, Suzanne, was absolutely wonderful! I moved out of state and can NOT find a salon that comes anywhere near Bijou, and no one else has the colors I loved so much. I can't tell you how I miss going there to get my nails done! read more

I have been going to this Salon since It opened. It is under new ownership!Annie was the former owner. The new owner has changed things up a bit for the better!she now has Spanish speaking techs. She always greets me by name and they are a.l very gracious! I do like to make an appointment though. I have my eyebrows waxed there all the time. Give it a try! read more

After having to have my large toenails surgically removed twice as a result of painful ingrown toenails, I've made a pedicure a regular part of my life experience by having a spa pedicure every month. In the Commack area, there are several nail salons and I've used four. I find Bijou to be the best thus far. The spa pedicure is comprehensive and enjoyable and well worth the price. read more

Went for a pedicure today, just found on yelp on a business trip.. So glad I did! Amazing! Priced right and really great service.. Not much to look at on the outside but was a great experience! read more

I am saddened to say I have just went to Biju for the last time. It used to be my go to place but now I will never go back. I have watched it little by little go downhill. Place needs major updates and upkeep, because frankly there is nothing in there. They must have changed owners because there used to be a younger girl that worked the desk and made appointments and she was more on top of things. My reason for leaving is the terrible pedicures. I used to live by their spa pedicure, then I realized it was nothing special at all for the price so I went to regular pedicures. The regular pedicure is basic of the basic with a small maybe 2 min leg/foot massage. Not worth it and won't be spending my money there anymore. read more

NEVER go here. Save yourself. Pricey acrylic set and doesn't even have good glue to keep it on for more then 2 days. Called and asked for a refund because I spent over 70$ on my new set and they cursed me on the phone. So many better places don't go here if u can avoid it. read more

Where to begin??? I made an appointment for an acrylic fill in and was on time for my appointment. After waiting 10 minutes in the chair the receptionist started working on my nails. Of course she suggested a new set, which I did not need. I was only a month into a new one. Of course they try to convince you to take them off (painful and time consuming-and of course out comes the dirty card for lifting off the old nails). I advised her, ROSA, that I have had nails for 30 years and I know what's needed. Just do the fill in! Of course they start whispering to each other and not talking to me. I have never been treated so rudely at ANY salon over the many years I have been getting manicures. Most places are welcoming and trying to get new business. However unless you were from Stepford (better known as Commack) you are clearly not in the 'in club'! Never Again! read more

Have been coming here for years, and the only reason is purely out of convenience since it is near my home. That will be stopping immediately, without fail every single time I come to this establishment without fail I am told it will be a 15-20 minute wait, and an hour later I am still waiting. I work in Port Washington and started going to a nail salon around my work area they are spectacular- I recently came back to Bijou since it was the weekend and it was near my home. Never doing it again, I would rather drive to Port Washington. read more

Every time I go here my nails come out terrible. I only came here today because I had a gift card. The newer owner used to be really nice, but now she barely smiles and is so cheap and didn't honor a mani/pedi gift card from Christmas (its only March 3) and charged me mote money because their prices went up. Not worth it! Found a much better salon by me that does quality work. read more

I have been going here for years, it is now under new management slight change over with employees but some of the same. I have never had a bad experience, I generally go to Rosa or Kim. Welcoming and clean. read more

By far best nail salon I've been too. Every time I walk in I'm always greeted by my first name. The girls are beyond patient with my needs. My nails seem to hold up much longer since I've started going to this salon. Definitely recommend this salon to all! read more

This is the worst nail salon in the area!! I got a pedicure by Julie and she gave me major problems with my 2 big toes. I had to go to the podiatrist to relieve the pain. When I told the owner that I needed someone to help me with the Horrible pedicure she didn't care and Lily gave me an attitude when she was assigned to assist the day before I went to the doctor thought they could help, The place is strange no one speaks its like a place filled with dead people. What horrible owner they don't care about customers only money. Then I got gel there before the horrible pedicure same day and within 3 days it was peeling off on 3 nails. Quality of the gel is awful and sloppy, do yourself a favor don't waste your time there very annoyed and sloppy waste of money. read more

This place is under a new management. I come all the way here from Jericho because I know that Suzanne is the best person to go to when you want to get your nails done perfectly. She's extremely meticulous, honest, and sensible. She used to work in Plainview area and I was willing to visit her store all the way in Cormack because she's really good. She'll help you choose the right colors, make sure the color is neatly brushed on and stays on for a long time. Bijou is very sanitary, friendly service, and they are very courteous. read more

Taught I would try this place as it's close to my house.I walked in and my first taught was there not very friendly, I just wanted the gel nail polish removed, I didn't even want nail polish on.the lady that done my nails didn't say hello, she was talking to the gentleman that worked there in Chinese. I guess the customer doesn't matter.she told me it was $15 dollars, I have to say I was a little shocked to say the least.I asked why she said it was $8 dollars for the manicure ( as I already said I didn't have any nail polish put on)a $1 for some clear stuff she put on and $6 dollars to remove the old nail polish.I will never again go there,I get my nail done every other week or so.So I hope charging me$6 dollars to remove the nail polish was worth the money they could have made from my business, as I also bring my mother and daughter to get manicures and pedicures, specially now with summer coming. read more

Had a co worker recommend me to this location. First time coming in with my mom, I had a much older gentleman with glasses. Desk to the left. Absolutely so aggressive with my hands. Almost cut me fixing my cuticles. I've never felt so rushed in my life. This man was so rude and did not care after I told him. I was done in less than 15 minutes. There was no one else waiting after me & they still had 1 hour until closing. Will never come back here again. The quality of nail might be okay but it doesn't matter if the customer service is gruesome. read more
