Tiffany nail salon did not make me feel welcome to their business. I was uncomfortable. Getting nails done is an experience and it should be an enjoyable one. First time I went, got a gel manicure, started chipping after 4 days. Still went back a second time, I politely asked them if there is a way to have the color last longer, they got very offended and started talking about me in their language. Will not go back again. It's a hit or miss depending upon your nail technician. I've had good gel manicures and a couple bad ones. The last time I went, the nail technician ripped my skin off around three different nails; two of which bled on the spot. She apologized but was very rough handling me, even the mini massage on my back was painful. I'll make sure I do not use her again. They need a better receptionist. Whoever answers the phone when you try to make an appointment is very gruff. The positive about this place is the pricing...only $28 for a gel manicure. That's the only reason I go back. read more

You get what you pay for $30 for mani pedi it took 20mins. Usually spend $36 at my other Nail salon that takes 1hr. This place had 2 customers the day before thanksgiving⁉ Not 1 of the employees where kind in any way I said please thank you have a nice holiday etc. All they did was speak horrible things (had my translator on) making disgusting comments about other people spent NO TIME on me. The massage on my feet was 2 seconds a slap of cream. A total of 11mins on my Pedi most of her time was spent speaking on her iPhone watch. Got my mani no soap or hot water to soak my hands. My feet n hands feel the same has when I went in. I usually feel such a relief n relaxing when I leave my other place. I am actually so disappointed with my visit just now. Ive been here a number of times and have even reccommended the place to several friends. I walked in for a manicure and the girl who did my nails tore my cuticles up in like 5 different areas because she was going a mile a minute. Mind you, I am 9 months pregnant. Do you think this woman had any human decency to care? No. I told her it was stinging alot, but she had not one care in the world but to finish as quick as she could. It was one of the young woman that sit in the 2nd chair to the right when you walk in. I also asked if they could put more of that disinfectant blue liquid on it because it was bleeding and again since I am pregnant, I just didn't want it to get infected. Were they nice about it? No, it was like a problem I asked. Real nice customer service, and just awful women in general. That will be the last time I give them my money and I will let everyone in my network know about this as well. read more

My daughter and I were looking for a simple mani and pedi around Noon. About 5 patrons were being serviced. We walked in and we're glared at by a tech. "What do you need!?" Before I could get a word out she yells "Not now!" In front of the whole salon. It was embarrassing. While I understand it was a busy time, a simple "Can you come back later on or tomorrow, we don't want to keep you waiting long" or something along those lines would have been much appreciated. I have tried so many nail salons in the Commack area, but I always return to Tiffany's. They are consistently reliable, and always exceed my expectations. Even though they were forced to slightly raise their prices due to COVID-19, they still have the lowest costs all around. They ALWAYS take their time and NEVER rush to see their next customer. Typically I see Coco, one of my favorite nail technicians. She's very professional and is so precise. I get gel manicures, after uses dip powder for a long time. Coco always applies every coat evenly so there are no lumps, unlike other salons. Although aesthetically it's not as "high end" as others in the area, their quality and work ethic is superb! DO NOT GO THERE! THEY'RE HAVE STRONG PREJUDICES TOWARDS BLACK PEOPLE. I attended Tiffany Nail Salon to see if they had any good nail polishes as well as a gel manicure. I went up to one of the ladies first if I can use the bathroom and she said sure it all the way in the back. I went towards the back where 2 other girls were waiting. Once all of them were able to use the bathroom it was my turn and one of the employees approached me and said that "make sure you don't make a mess in there, because black people tend to make messes in our bathroom and are messy people." I was astounded by her words and how fucked up her statement was especially when I was just about to get my nails done. Instead I said "If you feel that strongly towards my people I will not use this restroom or get my nails done" and I walked out. DON'T PUT YOUR COINS ON THEM PLEASE! Be mindful of which salon you go to because I'm pretty damn sure they're not the only ones that feel this way towards us. Because they said these things to me I ended up feeling as if I was inferior to them. No one should ever have to go through this while walking into a salon. A SALON! Tiffany Nail Salon is my go-to nail salon. I've been a loyal customer for 4 years and I rarely go anywhere else. The salon is a friendly upbeat enviornment. Like most nail salons, there's not much room for people to wait and it gets a bit crowded when looking for a color because you're in between the drying table and the waiting chairs. The salon could use a little rebab when it comes to decorating, but all of the appliances such as the drying table and pedicure chairs are modern. The salon has a wide range of polishes. There's so many different brands and colors to choose from. To add to the friendly and warm atmosphere, there's a tv mounted in the back of the room where News 12 is always playing on mute while the sounds of latest hits on the radio fill the air of the salon. When I come here, I usually ask for Stephanie or Mary, but you can't go wrong with anyone who works here. Everyone is super friendly and the owner is hilarious. She makes everyone who comes in feel welcomed and relaxed. The quality of the work is very nice. I always get my acrylics filled in here and they always look beautiful. They can do designs, but nothing too advanced. It's definitely a smaller, tight-knit business that could modernize a little more, but i'm overall very pleased with my experience every time I come here. I hope they make an instagram or a facebook page soon to showcase all of the beautiful work they do. The best thing about getting your nails done here is the massages. While your nails are drying, you get a long, deep massage that you never want to end. They put a lot of effort into making you feel cared for while at their salon. I just recently moved to the area and was looking for a new nail salon. From the outside, I wasn't too sure about this place - but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. I think their prices are very reasonable and even though their 10 minute massage is a little bit more than what I would normally pay, it was worth it!!! My only complaint is that my gel manicure only lasts about a week - but I will continue to go there and just do regular manicures. The pedicure that I got was great too!!
