Ran in here for a quick pedicure and thought the "dream pedicure" sounded great - which you pay extra $$$ for 10 minute reflexology. What I got was a calf rub down. I love this place! John is the absolute best. My nails always come out perfect and the wait is never too long. I've gotten everything from gel, to acrylic to tips w/gel. Now recently have been getting powder and it comes out so nice. They also last so long! With my busy schedule it's tough to come every 2 weeks, I've gone as long as 4 weeks and they're all still intact. Won't go anywhere else read more

Read the reviews and decided to check out Jin's Nails. Walked in, not busy at all and looked clean. I needed my gel polish removed and wanted just a regular manicure. Of course the first girl can't remove the gel polish so I move over to another desk. This woman proceeds to argue with me that I have acrylics on and it isn't just a gel polish. I tell her, no these are my real nails I have never had acrylics. She continues to argue with me over my nails. The woman next to me tries to help and the 'nail specialist' continues to argue. I walked out. I will never be back. Very bad customer service here. Wish I could use zero stars to have this posted. read more

I love Jins! I've been twice for gel acrylic nails and they always meet my standards. When you walk in they have you wash your hands and check your temperature. They have a large selection of gel colors and are always so friendly. What I love about them is they take their time and make sure it is perfect. They also have a rewards program for every dollar you spend you earn points and you receive double points when you pay in cash. You can redeem your points for pedicures and manicures ect. If you are looking for a new place to go I recommend them! John is the best! read more

My regular nail tech is on a month vacation. So I used this as an opportunity to try a new salon and Jin's did not disappoint. The salon takes COVID seriously as you must wash your hands as soon as you enter, your temperature is taken and you sign a daily log with your time in and out. My pedicure was great and relaxing. I was so relaxed I forgot to turn on the massage chair! The tech was nice and friendly. She used new tools which follows you to your nail tech. I opted for a powder dip and my nails were shaped perfectly. The text asked numerous times if I was ok with the shape and color. I could tell she was still learning the powder process but I was very happy with the service as the owner finished my nails and fixed two I was concerned about. Overall I was extremely happy with the service and how beautiful my nails came out and will definitely be returning and considering making this my main salon! I will update on how long my nails last. read more

Worst pedicure experience ever! I have been going for months to this salon. BUT never in my life have i had a technician grab my ankle in a football hold while exfoliating. mind you I am ticklish so this bordered on abuse as i tried repeatedly to release my foot. All the while the owners sat were directly across from us and said nothing while i was flopping around in the chair like a fish out of water. Finally got the attention of the owner by putting my hands up into a T for timeout. i was sweating out of breath and so embarrassed! That is no way to treat a paying customer. Not relaxing at all. I can't believe the review above mine because I have been going to Jin's for 4 years now and it's the BEST! Very nice people! Hannah and John are the owners and they always ask how I'm going and enquire about my kids. They are 6 and 9 and I bring them in sometimes and they are treated like little princesses. They even carry my 6 year old from the pedicure chair to the manicure chair! If you arrive when they first open -like I do sometimes - you'll see that they move every table to the center of the room so they can wash the floor under each table. The tools are sterilized. I've even seen them cleaning the leaves on their plants! Very very clean. There is almost always a massage guy! I think I'm the 70+ times I've been to Jin's there's maybe been 2 times I didn't get an (excellent) massage. They give out hand lotion for Mother's Day and gift certificates for Christmas and give you those adorable toe-less socks in the winter with every pedicure. Very generous. Very gracious. The membership card helps you acquire points which then lead to very generous gift vouchers for free services! It's ridiculous not to take the 5 seconds it takes to sign up to reap the benefits. It's really the best nail salon in NP and The only reason I hesitated to give a good review is because I feel like it's my special northport secret. It's fantastic! read more

They did a horrible job on my nails . Total waste of money . Once again I was fooled by good reviewed but my experience was very disappointing . I went in for a sns powder. At first there was a guy that started working on my nails . I told him I want to keep my nails long and if he needs to file them for a bit to make them perfect then that would be ok, even though he said ok, but what did he do next , took a nail clipper and cliped a good amount of my nail . I was so annoyed , I don't know what the hell he was thinking so without an apaology he processed but now I would've have a real short nail compare to the rest of my nails so I told him keep them all the same length and a minute later some lady took over for him so needed to tell her the same thing over. She did a good job as far as the sns powder , so I thought . I kid you not the next day I saw this faint white spot in each nail specially in my dominant hand. It looked like the polish was already separating from my own nails , how can this be ? It's suppose to last longer the gel! Today it's day 5 , not a week later, those faint white spots is half way through each finger nail. Whata Waste of $35. I'm gonna try to attach pictues so you can see for your selves . And don't even get me started on my pedicure . I had a lady that was miserable to be there , gave me half ass job as far as scrubbing my foot and the whole time she didn't wipe the sour puss look off of her face , I still tipped her though , I figured maybe she is pmsing or something $60 dollars later I have much shorter nails then before and I doubt this is gonna last much longer and obviously it's gonna have to be removed a lot sooner then expected . read more

I have been going to Jin's for about 5 years. I am very picky with my nails and nail salons, so I was extremely happy to find this place. Hanna always does mine, however my mom has had other employees and everything has been great! Pedicures aren't just your normal- they are fantastic. Very clean salon and very meticulous. This is one of the worst nail salons I have been to. The person who gave me my pedicure was awful. She was so rough with my pedicure when she was using the callus remover I thought she was going to scrape my skin off the back of my heel that didn't even have any callus. They don't give you a back massage like other nail salons when you are at the drying table. The owner asked if I had a membership card and when I said I didn't she said that she remembers that she gave one to me in a past visit. I said that I never received one nor did either of my daughters. She asked for my phone number to look it up so I gave her both my home and cell number and neither came up. So she said I know you have one and refused to give me one when I never had one to begin with. I don't even know what a membership card does at the salon. I left telling her I don't need one since I never plan to go back there again. I will never go back to the salon and neither will my daughters. I paid $124 dollars for myself and my daughters today and my daughters usually go more often than I do as I use a great nail salon (U2 Nails on Ft. Salonga Rd in Northport) regularly for my UV gel manicures. Jin"s just lost my business, both of my daughter's business and any of our respective family and friends business who are all disgusted by how we were treated today. read more
