They have a variety of snacks and treats. The biggest pro, in my opinion, is the option to dine in. You can purchase ramen, kimbap, or frozen goods and heat them up in store. There's also a small menu of drinks you can order, too. As others have mentioned, one of the only downsides is the pricing. Other markets in the area have much lower prices for the same imported goods. However, those other places don't offer the same ambience that this place does. The decor is cute and welcoming, despite the small space. One other downside is the lack of space, unfortunately. Hopefully in the future they can expand or somehow rearrange to make more space for customers. Regardless, their variety of options and fresh made foods is unmatched.

A nice little spot...friendly staff! Self serve...clean! Prepared food is too expensive! Two bibimbap were $44.00 for self serve! Served in paper bowl? Kimchi was really good! We took two jars home!

Korean goods galore! The market is small but has the pantry staples you would need to cook Korean cuisine. They also have snacks and drinks in smaller sizes so you can try a bunch of things. Their brand of kimchi is available in the refrigerated cases and they have a nice variety of options. They have a small menu of Korean dishes they cook also. They have six tables inside with two chairs at each table. The owner is so nice and so is the employee we met. The owner hand picks her favorite products (good brands too) and carries them in her store. Because of this, you can't go wrong here because it's as if someone else has done the shopping for you, and you just have to pick and pay for what you want to take home. We tried some of the Korean ice creams, snacks, drinks, and they were all good. We would definitely stop by again next time we're in Fort Wayne.

This is such an adorable little shop/cafe!! I needed to grab some gochujang and ended up getting several things. I love the little grab and go section. And who doesn't love banchan??!!! The spicy fish cakes were fantastic!! I can't wait to go back and get more stuff!

This little shop was nice and cool when i walked in on a sunny day, the staff was very kind with helping customers and checking us out! I got the famous strawberry sando and it was delicious paired with the matcha strawberry latte! I would come back and recommend to others!

I recently moved here from Indy and I was so happy to have found a place where I can get korean snacks and food that I enjoy but unfortunately I was disappointed at prices. For example: 5pack of Shin Ramyun noodle for $11 come on now! It should only be like $5-6 at most. Most of the snacks that they have are online or even on Amazon 2x less their price. For me unfortunately I don't love the kimchi I got from True Kimchi. I personally like my kimchi crunchy and the ones I got were super soggy and soft. Can't eat it them without adding them in a soup or mix them with something else as they smell and taste like they went bad. I do want to say that their Kimbap are really good.

I love their kimchi! They use local and seasonal ingredients from local farms. My favorites are white kimchi and radish kimchi. So crunchy and refreshing!

My favorite things in the new Uniq are easily the chinmi (fishcake) tempura and the mixed drink (I got Green Apple, which came in a nice blue liquid like the chemical cocktail it is) which is... honestly kinda sad, but they got actual KBBQ now and are a lot more professional about the whole thing. Seriously though, for an AYCE appetizer, the chinmi tempura was quite excellent, though the shrimp tempura on the other hand was sad and soggy and raw and all-around depressing. Dae Gee still has much better appetizer options, that's for sure (nothing can beat a good Midwestern cheese corn yummmm). I still don't get what's supposed to be so uniq about this place though? Perhaps it's the tiny amount of broth and banchan they give you? Both have unlimited refills if you just ask, but something about it still strikes me as being particularly stingy. None of the meats are particularly special either even though they have more choices now. Most of the cuts are fatty (the galbi in particular is what we'd call a "trash cut" due to how fatty it is) and the different flavor profiles that they have like bulgogi, spicy honey or umakara ("sweet-and-spicy") just kind of blend together. The beef tongue also struck me as being way tougher than it had any business being, perhaps it was cut a little too thick. Much of the seafood is still obviously from Rang Dong. Though they got rid of the syrupy "bingsu" and just offer buffet ice cream now, which is actually a nice change of pace. It's about Paradise Buffet level in terms of cream quality, which I guess isn't so bad. Perhaps the one GOOD and uniq thing I can talk about is that they were playing RELATIVELY obscure K-Pop songs like Nekkoya when we visited, rather than the ultra-popular stuff that you hear everywhere in Chinatowns, with some Persona 5 OST and Ado thrown in. I respect. Should've turned the volume up further, though. If you're gonna weeb out, do it correctly. TL;DR I still like Dae Gee better tbh, but they have some competition now.

On this occasion we occupied the large group room. The room was cozy and allowed our party to have an intimate room to ourselves. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of help to serve our larger group. They were a bit slow...but allowed us to pace ourselves and enjoy the fellowship. I was impressed that they hustled a child's order ahead of the adults food to keep them satisfied. I didn't see the waiters come back through much after the food was served. On this trip I ordered the steak teriyaki bento box. The box is a bit expensive compared to Other places. However the sinking atmosphere, location, quality and volume...justify the price in my mind. The box came with a cup of miso soup. The soup was tasty and a lot like you would expect for a Japanese restaurant. It did not come with a salad as many other places might. The box was stuffed with food! The steak es piled high and excellent! It was very tender and moist. It had a nice teriyaki flavor marinated in the meat. There were two crab Rangoon pieces and two egg rolls. Normally you would only expect one of each. The crab Rangoon wrapper was cooked so that it was a bit oily and the wrapper was mushy. The filling was plentiful. However I felt like the filling was lacking on crab taste and overpowering on cream cheese. The egg Roll wrappers were a bit more crispy without being too crispy. The wrapper was a bit greasy to taste. I found the filling...while fresh...to be a little mushy as well. There were five pieces of a California roll included. That was a lot of sushi to eat as well. The roll was tasty. It was put together nicely and gave you a good taste of each ingredient.

This is an edit from my first experience…read more I got a carry out order today of three out of their four flavors of wings. All of them were delicious and stayed crispy even after fifteen minutes in the car. My only criticism is that they do not let you split sauces when you order the twelve piece wings. You have to order multiple six piece servings if you want to try each sauce, which feels unnecessary. I would like to come back, but it seems the owner does not listen to customer feedback at all. Because of that, I probably will not bother again. No matter how good the food is, bad customer service overshadows it. Good luck to them. Also, you should really offer customers napkins instead of making them walk over to the ice cream area to grab their own. Overall, it feels like amateur hour here. It is a shame because the place has so much potential.
