Amazing dental office. Love the staff they are Always so friendly. They work quickly and explain what they're doing and why before and after the procedures. They take photos through the procedure to show you what they're talking about. The only issue I've come across is with insurance denying some of the procedures, but their team is fast to re-submit claims with additional information. read more

Dr. Sing & staff at True Dental truly create a wonderful atmosphere with each visit. My wisdom tooth had become infected, impacted, erupted and I needed a solution quickly. I came into True Dental and was greeted and sat very quickly. I was given a prescription for antibiotics to bring down the infection and set an appointment for a few days later for the extraction. When I came in for the extraction they were very helpful (I was very nervous) and the team made me feel very comfortable (they even had TV's in the ceiling.) I reclined back and let the professionals do their thing. Under an hour later, the procedure was complete and I was still finishing my show on netflix! They performed with great professionalism and care. Honestly, I will never go to another practice. Any office can look at your teeth, few can make sure you leave with a smile. For me to give ANY Torturer...I mean Dentist 5 stars rather than 5 inappropriate fingers (or social finger as I like to call them) says a LOT for this practice! I had a very bad wisdom teeth extraction experience when I was 18-19 (I'm 44 now) and I'm still scarred. I have full on anxiety attacks every time I go in even if it's just for a cleaning. Hell, I have anxiety taking my kids to the dentist. I'm talking Xanax bad!!!! This doc and her staff are THA BOMB DIGGITY! I love them. This was my second visit here. The staff is friendly and cleanings are good but I had a scary experience that left me concerned this visit. I needed a crown and agreed to have it done. While letting the jel set up for my crown impression I started getting some going down the back of my throat. With a mouth full of stuff I couldn't say anything. No one was there to observe me starting to chock while laying down. They were in the other room chit chatting while I was chocking! I ended up having to sit up and pull the impression out of my mouth and started coughing. Still no one came to my aid for about another minute. I was thinking I could have passed out in this chair and no one would have known! Not sure I want to return to a place that they don't keep better eye on their patients when they have them lying down with a mouth full of goo that someone could chock on. Recommended they keep better monitor of their patients and sit them up, not keep them lying down! read more

I have been going to the dental office since 2013, and was under the care of Dr. Gunnala up until recently. She was so amazing and took the time out to check on her patients in between appointments to see how they were doing. This new dentist, Dr. Sing, is awful. She seems young and incompetent. I have seen her twice and she has not been consistent with the advice she has given me. The front desk staff provides contradictory information. During the most recent visit, about two weeks ago, I scheduled an appointment for two wisdom teeth extractions. I emailed the X-rays that I had just gotten done a month prior at another dentist office. The receptionist assured me that Dr. Sing had reviewed the X-rays and could perform the surgery at my scheduled appointment. I live in Fort Worth and I explained multiple times that I did not want to make a "blank trip" if she could not do the procedure. The day of the appointment I was about 30 minutes late. I called to notify the office that I was in traffic and would not be there on time. Again, the receptionist told me not to cancel the appointment and that they would "do all the work they could" once I got there. When I arrived, Dr. Sing only agreed to take more X-rays. The exact same X-rays that I had already gotten done and emailed over. She stated that there would not have been enough time to do the wisdom teeth extractions, even if I had made it on time for my appointment. Imagine my frustration! A friend brought me to the office because I was under the impression that I would be sedated. She missed her own appointment to bring me there. They were not apologetic at all for the miscommunication. It seemed that their goal was to perform more X-rays so that they could bill my insurance, instead of addressing the actual problem. I despise this new dentist and am so disappointment that Dr. Gunnala is no longer there. I wish she had screened more appropriately for who would take over her practice. read more

I have been going to True Dental for 6 years now, I live 20 miles away and still make the commute to True Dental. They have switched dentist to Dr. Sing, she is still great. I am not the easiest patient to have however she has done great every single time. I came a couple days ago and got a filling and a crown which took 1.5 hours. I am never waiting long for my appointment which is important. I get a cleaning every 6 months and it is always fast. They also work out payment arrangements with me if my insurance doesn't cover everything. Every one on the staff is nice every time. Initially I had gone to a different dentist and was told I had 8 cavities that needed to be filled right then and there or else my teeth would need extensive work. This had never happened to me before and I felt I needed a second opinion. Dr. Sing performed a through exam which included Xrays and pictures and determined there were no cavities. This of course made me feel much better. Since then she has been very involved with my tooth health and advises me the best way to take care of my teeth. I had a big event coming up and wanted to get my teeth whitened. My regular Dentist (who I've been going to every 6 months for over 28 years) is over an hour away. I was in a hurry and wanted to find someone close to my home. I bought a Zoom whitening treatment from True Dental on Living Social for $99. I called to make the appt. They asked me if my teeth were recently cleaned. They hadn't been- so they offered me a 'complimentary' cleaning and x-rays for $50 more. Sounded great- so I agreed. When I got there, I was impressed. BEAUTIFUL interiors, state-of-the art EVERYTHING. TV's in the ceiling, headphones, plush chairs, all the bells and whistles! I filled out all the new patient paperwork and waited....and waited..... After 45 minutes passed, I asked if I would be taken care of soon - as I had to be at another appt. in 2 hours. They then quickly took me back and did x-rays. After that, I was sent to the room and set-up with headphones and a movie. Then Dr. Gunnala came in and showed me the x-rays on a huge TV monitor on the wall. She told me that I had a lot of plaque (which I always do!) and that I required a 'deep' cleaning. She then went on to tell me that I had FOUR cavities...and that the girl would be back to discuss 'treatment plans'. I'm 53 and have NEVER had a cavity in my life. NONE. At this point, I was skeptical that they were scamming me - but I thought I'd keep an open mind and hear them out. The front desk girl comes in and reviews a stack of paperwork. She said I need a deep cleaning - $920, 4 cavities filled- $800, MORE x-rays $315 and another dental exam (?) - $75. Total was $1915.00!! And they knew I didn't have dental insurance. She said 'No worries - we can set you up on Care Credit!' - whatever that is. I told her I wasn't prepared to spend $2000 out of pocket, I just came in to get my teeth whitened. I was appalled by the exorbitant costs - and I even asked her: 'Would YOU spend $2000?' She answered 'NO'. I then said 'I'll just take the 'complementary' $50 cleaning and Zoom treatment today, and I'll get back to you on those 4 cavities.' She said "I cannot do the treatment unless you do the $920 deep cleaning'. She refused to even do the 'regular' cleaning! I thought she was joking! WHY wasn't that possibility even mentioned when I made the appt - or better yet, before I gave them my credit card for the x-rays and 'cleaning'? At this point, I knew this place was a total scam! They refused to even give me the 'complimentary' $50 cleaning THAT I HAD PAID FOR. I took off the bib, asked her to give me the x-rays, and the $99 Zoom voucher back, and thanked her for wasting 3 hours of MY TIME and taking my money for NOTHING. I should have demanded the $50 back, but was so upset, I just wanted to get OUT of that place. I just got back from visiting my regular dentist. I took him the X-rays True Dental had taken. He gave me a 'deep cleaning' (under gums, between teeth with a water 'sonic' tool) Although he didn't see anything on their X-rays that indicated cavities, he took his own X-rays JUST TO BE SURE. Guess what? NO CAVITIES and my total bill was $145 for the deep cleaning! I have NEVER written a review for a service (good or bad), but I feel that everyone should be warned to stay clear of this place! If it's not a complete scam, they are the most incompetent dental 'professionals' I've ever met. BEWARE! read more

I was in search of a new dentist after having a bad experience with the "Chain" dentist offices in Dallas. Someone recommended Dr. Sing and I saw that she was close to my work. I am so glad that I took that recommendation as I will continue to return. I was greeted promptly and had very little wait. The techs and front office staff were helpful and really made my experience feel "homey." I didn't feel like I was rushed through an assembly line or pitched a sales line like they were paid on commission. It's the kind of dental experience I got growing up in small town Ohio. Dr. Sing came in after my cleaning and checked up on my teeth and to ensure that a quality job had been completed. I moved down here from Michigan a few years ago and found this dentist after multiple tries. When I was in Michigan I was without dental insurance and didnt have a good cleaning in a while. They fixed my teeth up right and the deep cleaning just means they put more effort in getting the years of buildup off your teeth. Most dentist I have been to just sit you down and get you out the door as soon as possible but this establishment takes the time to treat you and your teeth as valuable customers. I am now married with a child and True Dental works around my busy schedule. They are open Saturdays which a huge value by itself. The doctor recently started orthodontics practice and my wife is happy to have perfectly straight teeth at a good value. They will even call you personally to let you know they are ahead of schedule and can see you early! Great service all around. Friendly people that will address you by name.
