Wonder what happens if you have an emergency? Left a message, waited until 9:35, then left. Very unprofessional. I wasn't even seeing a dentist! It was for a cleaning only. Stay away! I took time off work and they didn't even bother to show up! You know if I was a no show they would have charged me a fee! Update- they called a 3pm and said my appointment was at the Ft Worth location. Complete BS! Why would I book the Ft Worth location when I called the Bedford number and I live 1/2 mike from Bedford location? They are just covering their a**. Totally incompetent! So why didn't the FW location call me this am when I didn't show up?

His report was very straightforward, he didn't try to up sell me on a single item or scare me into thinking that I would need any future work. I really appreciated the traditional style of dentistry here. They don't have a bunch of fancy equipment nor flashy features like these new dentist offices, although it's clear to me that not only is he an expert in his field but that he thoroughly enjoys his work.

Started from the office at the Mall, then it shut down & was moved to North Richland Hills. That too got shut down & I was relocated to the Bedford location. The plan was simple, a cleaning. I walked in & signed the form with the agreed payment & was called in to be worked on. Out of nowhere, they wanted to do xrays. When results came, i suddenly needed all kinds of extra work changing my total to $948 out of pocket! I explained that at my last visit, the old location gave me glowing remarks saying how I had been flossing & brushing good like they wanted! I only paid $235 & the one before that i paid $155. How & why now would this new one cost almost $1k! Someone was definitely trying to take advantage of me. There's no way my teeth have changed more in these few months than they ever did in the last 6/7 years total since being with Monarch! Impossible! So, of course after much debate, I did not do anything due to the clear predatory move for treatment changing at the last minute. This poor experience left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended). I knew that had it been the other way around, the office would have no issue quickly reminding clients changes cannot be allowed after signatures being they are legal & binding. The reviews speak for themselves. If this is the way they continue to treat new and existing clients, it will be of no surprise to hear in the future that at this rate, another Monarch will be shut down again... So please... Stop apologizing, if you are not going to really be doing something about it.

Okay, so when you think dentist, ouch comes to mind. Erase that immediately. When I think of my dentist, Dr. C, I smile knowing from the front door, his staff will greet you, and when you sit in his chair, it is like going to a therapy session. His staff is like a family. No, not like car dealerships try to lie to us, but really, like family you want to see. Immediately this guys voice and sense of humor is calming. Once he is getting down to the business of working on your toofers, he is truly a master at making it painless no matter your past experiences. I was a complete and total wimp when it comes to dental work, until I visited Dr. Coston. Now, I actually look forward to seeing him because I know he genuinely cares to make sure you are relaxed, understand the procedure, and can relax. The drive in traffic is more painful than the visit.
