I recently returned to Dr. David Clark's practice for another procedure, in spite of the close to 30-minute travel time to his office. I'm glad that I made this decision, after a less than satisfying experience with another dentist. With an easy-going demeanor, Dr. Clark is nevertheless the consummate professional. I had Invisalign with Dr. Clark It took several redos and almost 4 years. The end result was my teeth shifted strangely and off centered. Tmj so bad that I allowed my teeth to go back to their natural state, since a slight crookedness was better than excruciating jaw pain. It also caused a lot of other dental problems. Dr. Clark is nice, but his skill is subpar. Go to an orthodontist for teeth straightening. They will know much better what they are doing. I wish someone had advised me that, but I went to Dr. Clark to save a few $. Never again, so not worth the pain, aggravations, and wasted time. read more

I found Dr. Clark because of an Invisalign ad, it got me in the door however after meeting with the doctor and staff, I was informed of the different types of Invisalign. They did a thorough evaluation and review of my teeth, did a full scan and took lots of images and provided a more comprehensive plan than what I was told by another office. And boy was I glad, they were not only providing a cosmetic fix they were able provide a corrective treatment, which is better for the long run. Rebecca was so sweet and welcoming. She was genuinely interested in getting to know me and provided a complete explanation of all costs and payment options. She was understanding and was really easy to work with. Elizabeth was also sweet and efficient in staying in communication with me and worked with my schedule to get me in! The hygienist was was so warm and knowledgeable, she explained everything she was doing and took the time to make sure I was comfortable and understood the whole Invisalign process. I was experiencing TMJ pain and was referred to Dr. Clark. When I called the office to ask about insurance coverage, they said they don't take insurance but will give me paperwork to submit to my insurance. This was INCORRECT information. What they should have said is their treatment plan is NOT covered by dental or medical insurance. Dr Clark ordered a same day CT scan in his office that I paid out of pocket. He then proceeded to do a 40 minute timeshare like presentation to sell me on his questionable treatment plan at a cost $4K. The timeshare presentation came complete with a 'closer' that offered a payment plan. Needless to say, I declined their treatment plan. I recommend avoiding this practice. read more

I was quoted a root canal at 800. Everyone around town was charging 1200-1500. I thought it was a great deal. I go in and they do the root canal and once "I'm done" with it, I pay 800. My face is half dead because of the procedure. Half way out of the door I was told that it was half way done and I would have to come back in a week with 1000 for a crown... Everyone else quoted me 1200-1500 for the full provide with crown. I asked them before if 800 for everything and they said yes!!! Worst experience ever. Not to mention that he kept talking about all the women he dates and how hot they were... how he could date anyone, he assumed I was cool with it because I am a guy. Worst business.... read more

Friendly, professional and affordable are only a few of the positive attributes of the entire office staff. The first time I came for my Invisalign consultation, I had my 4 year old son with me. Rebecca kept him entertained with snacks while Dr. Clark allowed him to wear a dental mask and ask questions about the whole process in Mommy's mouth. I have been impressed by how quick my wait time was each visit. I was in and out quickly. The office is clean and inviting. Dr. Clark is extremely thorough and clearly knows what he's doing. He approaches his work from a holistic perspective that cares for the way a patient's oral health affects the entire body. I drive quite a way to come to this office, but it's well worth the hike. read more

Dr Clark told me that I would need only 9 months of invisalign. Instead, he treated me for 24 months (2 years!) And my teeth are worse than before. He refused to give me a full refund, instead giving me a half refund. That means that he admits guilt but wants to be paid. Dr. Clark leads this office and amazing staff. I went to Dr.Clark years ago when I was diagnosed with TMJ. I had also experienced frequent migraines for years even though I took prescription medicine daily for this condition. Dr. Clark fitted me into what's called a " mago". That same week, my migraines reduced by 90%! I also had marked reduction in TMJ pain and neck pain. Dr. Clark's dental assistant, Marla is very knowledgeable on the subject of TMJ, and is very comforting. Now, my entire family goes to Dr. Clark's office for everything dental related. We get regular teeth cleanings with Sandy, ( hygienist extraordinaire) . The office manager, Rebecca, is warm, compassionate, friendly, and is sympathetic to those who experience TMJ. Dr Clark is amazing. I was sent to him for assistance with my lock jaw. I was in a lot of pain. He made a small device and put it on my front teeth so that I wouldn't grind my teeth during the day and night, and to let my jaw repair and heal. Well It worked and now I am doing much better, but still have a ways to go. I usually hate going to dentist because they always want to do so many things and yet don't fix anything but give me more pain. Dr. Clark is different, he is passionate on how he treats his patient, he is a doctor that cares for you and not how much money he can get out of you. I admire him and feel comfortable with his treatments. I couldn't have asked for a better dentist. Thank God I was referred to Him. I bought a Groupon for an Invisalign credit at Dr. Clark's office. I called and made an appointment and the receptionist said if I am not a candidate for what I purchased they would let me know during the initial visit. I went, was told the Groupon I printed and handed them was fine and my treatment was fully paid, then went on my way and waited for my trays to come in. I received a call from the office saying my Invisalign came in and I needed to schedule an appointment to pick it up. So that's what I did. I then receive a call from the office a day before my appointment to tell me I owe $2,500! I didn't even know what to say. The office said they thought I bought a different Groupon and the one I purchased was no good. I'm not sure how they messed that up considering they had a printed copy of my Groupon since day 1. I canceled my appointment to pick up my trays since I was not planning on paying an additional $2,500. The most annoying part of the whole experience was how rude the person on the phone was when telling me I owed $2,500! read more

Do yourself a favor and don't go here for TMJ issues. They will tell you your insurance covers it, ask you to sign on dotted line for treatment...and then you're stuck with the bill (a large $4000 bill!!) even though it was their mistake...and in fact, will be rude about it as opposed to having any empathy about their mistake. Not a nice way to run a business. Horrible experience all the way around. read more
