Dr. Lo is one of those people. A natural educator in a dental scrubs, Dr. Lo took the time to explain common misconceptions about dental hygiene with kindness and zeal. Like I said, I've never felt more excited about flossing and brushing. I took advantage of a new patient promotion for the office and am so glad that I did. The staff are welcoming and take the time to answer questions. I was not upsold on any service. From what I could tell, this dental office is more interested in giving patients what they actually need and does not try to sell products or procedures that are not necessary. It sounds like they offer a membership for self-pay patients as well that would offest the cost for those who are underinsured as well. Happy with the discovery of this dentist. Extremely Disappointed -- Repeated Mistakes and a Failed Filling…read more I am very unhappy with the care I received from Dr. David Anifowose. At a cleaning appointment, he told me I needed fillings on tooth #4 and #5, even though I had never had pain, sensitivity, or any problems with either tooth. I agreed to the treatment, assuming it would be routine -- but it turned into one problem after another. Tooth #5 had to be redone immediately during the appointment because something went wrong the first time. When I got home and tried to floss, I couldn't because excess filling material had been left between the teeth. I had to go back yet again so he could "fix" it. That means it took three different attempts to complete one filling. A few months later, the filling on tooth #5 fell out completely. I immediately developed hot and cold sensitivity and had to see a different dentist. The new dentist repaired it correctly and the entire experience was noticeably more professional and competent. I honestly feel that Dr. Anifowose's work caused more harm than good. This process was stressful, inconvenient, and has permanently made me question his skill level. I would not recommend him based on what I went through.

He and his staff will keep saying to you that they are offering the most "conservative" treatment just to keep you coming back and dumping more money into this practice. Scam. Stay away. I feel so stupid that I allowed myself to be deceived this way. I ruined a perfectly good tooth listening to this conman of a dentist. Just do yourself favor and don't visit this office. Trust me.
