Stay Away. Malpractice. Fraudulent, negligent, careless, sloppy, and greedy. This business owner, Woo S. Jang, performed shoddy dental work on my wife's front tooth. The work disintegrated in less than six months, leaving my wife in excruciating and debilitating pain. When she went in to get the work fixed, the dentist (the same one that completed the previous work) confirmed that the wrong procedure had been performed previously-- and it would cost her an additional $xxxxxx to fix the poor work. There are too many honest medical professionals out in the world to deal with goniffs like this. I would STRONGLY urge anyone considering this office to move to another potential provider. It is far better to avoid a questionable practitioner than deal with malpractice and apathy. I am reporting this dentist and his business to the State Board of Dental Examiners to investigate the nefarious means by which this office defrauds the innocent seeking treatment. read more

Love love love coming to this dentist... weird saying that but true. Dr. Jang and especially his team are top notch. I started seeing Dr. Jang years ago, have had everything from regular teeth cleanings, braces, cavities filled, to veneers all done perfectly without any headache from them or my insurance. I have since moved away from Dallas but travel there frequently and when I do, I am sure to schedule any dentist appointments needed with them, and only them! VERY DISAPPOINTED. I paid for a "discounted bundle" of services. Each service is itemized. They did not tell me that there were any time restrictions. I did not receive one service that I paid $400 for, and they will not honor the service or refund any portion. They said I can't have my money back because it was a BUNDLE. WHAT?? I paid for the service, I should receive it. Now I am out $400 and possibly more if I decide to take this to court, which I am hughly considering. After eating one scoop of ice cream, I screamed all of a sudden because the effing toothache covered whole lot of my face, and I worried some my teeth fall out and become a witch with a broomstick. The next day I called the dentist somewhere else and there's no time to see me, but he recommended Dr. Jang and I made an appointment with him right away, he wanted to see me even though it was a lunch break. The reason people come to the doctors office not only to remove the pain, also to feel safe, and at ease from all the extreme concerns. He checked all my teeth with taking Xray and doing various exams. Even though I looked so ugly as if filming ' Mr. Bean', opening my mouth twitching, showing inside my mouth, drooling water in front of dental hygienists, doctors assistants, and the doctor with Medical Surgical Dental Headband Binocular Loupes with Head Light 2.5x, I've been relieved because he said "your problems not a big deal. You'd make an appointment next Monday early in the morning, and today I will give you a prescription with tyrenol". On Monday I got all the treatments he mentioned and am fully restored, clean and fresh, no pain, no worries. He is young like summer grapes, green, flawless, fresh in field of Texas. I hope he become a precious wine that could be served to the Highest God. read more

I came to Pinnacle Dental after having negative experiences with my previous dentist. When I first came into the office, I was immediatly greeted by the kind receptionist who helped me quickly fill out the paperwork. There was little to no wait after checking in, which was not the case for my previous dentist. If I would describe Dr. Jang in two words, it would be precise and insightful. Not only does he know his stuff, but he ensures that the patient also knows what's going on with his or her teeth. He carefully cleaned my teeth, while also keeping me updated on the process each and every step along the way. This has been one of the few times I've been comfortable at a dentist's office. I've been going here for about 3 years now. In the past I've always switched dentist depending on what was closer/more convenient to my work but I'll be here to stay. Dr. Jang and the staff here are friendly and remember and my mouth. I appreciate them warning me of potential issues and how to improve them myself and then updating me of my progress on my next checkup. Hello, I recently visited Pinnacle Dental for my wisdom teeth extractions. I previously had a bad experience with the bottom two I took out a couple years back at a different dental office. Dr. Jang was very professional but also very caring about what was comfortable for me. He made sure the experience I had at Pinnacle was a good one! You definitely want to go in a little earlier before your appointment time to fill out paperwork if you are a new patient. It can a little hard to find as well as I had trouble locating it at first. Exceptional Customer Service! Dr. Jang explained really clearly and honestly probably if braces/ invisalign is best for me. He also cleaned really hard and deep between my teeth and taught me how to brush better. The Dental Assistant Ashton was super helpful in explaining stuff to me as well. I recently moved to Plano from Los Angeles and I have always been an avid Yelp user for finding anything and everything. Not knowing too much about the area, i resorted to Yelp reviews to find my new dentist. I had travel plans to London just two days away and I had my crown fall out the night before. With one phone call, the office kindly offered to take care of me the same morning to ensure a comfortable trip. I was showered with welcoming smiles from everyone at the office. I asked Dr Jang why all the smiles? He humbly said that he and the staff really want to make his patients feel welcomed and cared for. I think this is something to be proud of for any business owner. Recently moved to this area, needed a dentist for my wife, found on yelp. Was able to get a quick appointment. Cheerful and friendly staff. Get text message reminders for the appointments. For self could get appointments in very short notice. They try to work with your schedule pretty well. They share all the issues and prioritize them for you. Keep it up.. I was a patient for a few years but have to update my review now that I am finally seeing another dentist and finally have the billing taken care of. I do like Dr. Jang but the practice is lacking. Make sure you are aware of how long ago you've been to the dentist. They booked me just shy of my 6 months and I was personally charged for everything (it was an x-ray visit!) when my insurance carrier denied the claim. There is a CONSTANT change of staff, there was a new person every time I called or went for awhile there. The gental, friendly hygenist that I started going to is no longer there. I got invisalign through this dentist and it was fine except for the billing. I was told I didn't owe anything else and then an entire YEAR later I get this highlighted bill stating I was overdue and owed over $700. Turns out they were required to submit more info to my insurance carrier but the insurance carrier didn't get it. I'm sure it's not uncommon for this to happen but feel this took way too long to resolve. I shouldn't have to call multiple times just to get a call back, they aren't proactive about a thing. I can't tell you how close I was to paying $700 to just get it over with BUT couldn't even get someone on the phone to make a payment. I just don't understand why I would be given a bill for $700 before they submitted it to my carrier. My carrier ended up paying, too. I am also disappointed that the dentist seemed pretty opposed any retainer other than the invisalign brand. I inquired about options twice and he he only wanted to talk about the Invisalign brand and told me to "think about it." It's more expensive considering they're only good for a year but I don't want to replace $700 every year and they stretch out, putting in a new set of retainers after 3 months made me feel like I was in braces all over again. In my opinion, it's just not worth it. read more

Okay, I'm going to be very honest with you. Like most people, I have HATED the dentist my whole life. In fact, before becoming a patient at Pinnacle Dental I had not seen a dentist in perhaps 10 years. My teeth weren't in bad shape, but I was concerned that I had finally gotten a cavity, and wanted it looked at before it got worse. So I decided to give them a shot. Pinnacle Dental is a small, experienced, and personable operation. The design of their office marries professional with calming, being completely up to date without a "sterile" feeling to it. The staff there are friendly and honest while still keeping up with a professional manner. For my first visit they took X-rays of my teeth, as well as high resolution digital photos of the trouble areas. Between these and her own professional experience, Dr. Wang was able to diagnose my issues and map out a timeline for having them all corrected. In the end I had two cavities filled, a deep cleaning of my teeth, and I am now continuing regular check ups of my oral health. I enjoy going to the dentist now, because of my positive experiences there, and recommend Pinnacle Dental to anyone looking for a Top Notch Dentist. Update: Recently, Dr. Wang has gone "back to school" to further her education, but she has left the practice in the good hands of Dr. Nagashima. I just left from this dental office and I am truly impressed. Dr. Jang took great care to explain everything and the dental assistant, Georgia, was really sweet as well! Very calming office and great service! About a year ago I had a local dental conglomerate in the DFW area tell me I had level 2 periodontal disease which kind of scared me to go to other dentists. I am glad that I made the right decision to not let fear get the best of me. I asked Dr. Jang his opinion and he was honest, but told me I did not have this disease. He said that although it had been awhile since I had gotten a cleaning I had taken good care of my teeth and did not need treatment for periodontitis. As a new patient, I truly enjoyed my Pinnacle dental experience. The location is convenient to work, clean, and staffed work friendly people. My hygienist Helen was very thorough, and frequently checked on me to make sure I was okay. She explained every step of the process, which gave me confidence that she was doing a good job. Me teeth felt super clean and there was no pain. The Dr. came in at the end and summarized what Helen had explained, and offered a solution to my minor alignment issues. ***UPDATE Pinnacle called me trying to get me to remove my review. They didn't ask me how I was or if I had a good experience, they called because they saw my review. They offered to give me a refund if I removed it. I am not accepting any bribes to delete my review, I want everyone to know what I experienced and how they get their good reviews by bribing people. I have also been in tremendous amount of pain for 5 days now, I had to go to a emergency dental to see what the issue is. They said that it was infected and provided antibiotics. Again, I highly do NOT RECOMMEND!! My husband and I want to share with you about our experience with Pinnacle. We saw great reviews so we scheduled a appointment because we had some pain and possibly thought needed a new filling. As soon as we arrived, got an X-ray, the doctor said he did not see anything bad or any concerns but suggest to do new filling just to be sure. The "sales lady" receptionist walked into the room with a sales pitch and said the filling will be $310 and $90 for X-ray which is already higher than average price BUT if we want to get a MEMBERSHIP for a extra $210 they would provide a discount. We declined membership and doctor started working on 1 filling. During the filling process the doctor stopped, took a mirror, showed him inside of the tooth and randomly said we need to do another filling for another tooth additional $300. At that point while your mouth is wide opened and numb showing you everything, you can't say no especially when they are not even complete with the first filling so your scared what will happen if you will say no to the second one. We just nodded yes to go ahead. The point is why couldn't he see I needed another filling with the X-ray that previously was already done on the same side (tooth next to the first filling) and that we had no pain, zero issues on that one. It's just a pure selling tactic because we said no to the membership or that's just the way they do business to sell more while your already in process. Not sure what will happen next, just received everything today. No explanation, didn't tell us anything. Overall was very confusing, not a good experience read more

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at Pinnacle dental... well I guess I mean to say, my experiences have been as great as visiting a dentist can possibly get. Dr. Jang and his team have done a great job each time I have gone which has ranged from cleanings, fillings, and even a crown. They have state of the art equipment and Dr. Jang always makes sure to explain where and what they are working on so there are typically no surprises. The waiting room is comfortable, and the staff do their best to make you feel at ease. The location is in a small medical office center that has lots of other dental practices, so on my first visit it was rather difficult to find the office (the sign is a fairly small and right in front of their entrance). That's really the only complaint I can make, that and if you are getting a lot of teeth worked on I hope you love HGTV (I do), since that's usually what they have playing on the monitors above. FLIP OR FLOP FIXER UPPER LOVE IT OR LIST IT HOUSE HUNTERS INTERNATIONAL (no one cares about the 100k home some dude looked at in rural New Jersey) Gets me nice and caught up on all them HGTV gems. read more

Additionally, he is one that you can trust to provide the proper advice for your dental care. I recall when I had to call in for an after hours dental problem and when I did it was Dr. Jang who answered, not an answering service! It was great to know that he was only a call away! The dental office is very modern and clean, furthermore, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful as well.
