I've been seeing Dana for about a year (who is awesome, and the front desk and shampoo staff are great as well), but at the latest visit I found out the salon raised their prices again, and I paid almost $250 for a basic root color and haircut (including tip). My first visit to the salon a year ago I paid $130 (including tip) for an all-over toner and haircut. I unfortunately don't think I can afford to go back again even though the service is great. Also, I am not a member of the gym the salon is located inside and, at this latest visit, I told the front desk I was going to the salon, went upstairs, then realized one of the guys from the front desk was following me. When I went to the restroom instead of directly into the salon, he asked where I was going, I told him again I was going to the salon, and he WAITED OUTSIDE the restroom for me to come out and follow me into the salon. Bizarre. I told the salon's receptionist and she was so apologetic and told her manager immediately because this is not the first issue they've had with the front desk. I wish this salon had its own location with more reasonable prices!

The salon also has a lovely friendly vibe and the trainee stylists are super sweet. No matter where I move I'll always travel back to Ashburn for Eclips (~:

I went to this salon requesting a 1-inch trim with long layers and face-framing. The service I…read morereceived did not match what I asked for at all. There were no visible layers added, and it is unclear if even an inch of hair was actually cut. The appointment felt rushed from the start. When I asked for the requested layers again, I was told there was no time to redo the cut because another client was waiting. This is not acceptable after an appointment has already started. Throughout the haircut, the stylist appeared uncertain and unsteady, which made the experience uncomfortable and unprofessional. I did not feel confident in the process at any point. I only stayed because I was with my 16-year-old and did not want to escalate the situation in front of her. Overall, I paid $80 for a service that was not delivered as requested. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience and would advise others to confirm expectations clearly before proceeding.

Side note: I wanted to have a really drastic a-line bob. I have very fine hair, thick bangs. Courtney explained that because of my hair being so thin especially in the front where the length should be it would take a while to get the look I ultimately wanted.
