I had an appointment for myself, and another for a family member. We showed our hair colorist several pics of the highlights we wanted. My stylist, who I will name later, is a nice person. I'm afraid she only knows how to do one thing, and that's low lights. I asked for almost platinum colored cool blonde, and was instead given streaky cheetah printed honey blonde, as well as low lights. LOW LIGHTS!! The same stylist for my family member, gave her nearly the exact same thing -- weird streaky highlights. The colorist was tasked with summer blonde highlights and couldn't do it. She's obviously only trained in one thing, her specialty of warm bronde streaks. Moving onto the hair washers, who aren't properly trained, or maybe are in training? They have zero personal skills and have no idea what they're doing either. I was in the same sink chair for an hour and a half, getting a toner, deep conditioning.... It went on and on. I had to ask to go back to the colorist station as it was taking so long. I was there for 5 hours -- this is without a blowout or hair cut. All I walked away with was horribly bad highlights and lowlights. What a waste of time. Eclips lost two customers today. Can't fully express how awful this team was tonight. Bye Eclips read more

Let me be very clear: this was one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had, and I'm leaving this review so nobody else gets played like I did. I called ahead and was told the max for my bleach-out would be $200. That's what they quoted me, plain and simple. But when I showed up, the energy was immediately off -- four front desk girls just staring me down, making uncomfortable eye contact like I walked into the wrong place. No warmth, no professionalism, just a weird, judgmental vibe from the start. Then they wrapped me up in the apron like I was already locked in, and this random assistant tied it aggressively and yanked at my hair with attitude -- completely careless and rude. When I asked if she was my stylist, she said no, that she was just "helping Kenzie get started." Helping her with what, exactly? When Kenzie finally came out, she didn't even greet me properly -- just glanced at my hair, then disappeared into another room to gossip with her little clique. I could clearly tell they were talking trash about me. Then she came back like a coward with a paper in her hand and dropped a bomb: the price was now $700+. SEVEN. HUNDRED. DOLLARS. For the same bleach-out I was told would be $200 over the phone. Kenzie had the nerve to say she blocked her whole day off for me -- like that justifies lying and springing a ridiculous price on me after I'm already in the chair. She refused to budge on the price and acted like I was the problem for questioning the insane jump. This is false advertising, bait-and-switch behavior, and a nasty attitude on top of it. I left feeling completely disrespected, humiliated, and with no service and no hair before an important event I had planned for. This place is all bad vibes, fake attitudes, and no accountability. Went there as I was unhappy with previous hair service at a different salon. After hair cut and shampoo, I clearly told them while taking appointment that I don't want hair blow dry on high heat as my hair is very sensitive to heat and I suffer hair fall and damage after using heat blow dry. On the phone they said no problem, you can ask the stylist either to use cool air or if you wish to blow dry you can let them know. I said the same and the stylist forced me to get blow dry. while drying my hair on HIGH HEAT, she was talking to another stylist badly about other customers in front of me and laughing saying how easy it is to forced their customers to get them to agree for the style they do not want. And they are laughing. very unprofessional!! read more

She was very patient to discuss the various options for hair color, listen to my questions and understood what I was looking for. It was my first time visiting this salon, I usually don't get my hair cut often because I've had bad salon experiences but I'm glad I took the leap and tried Eclips!! The salon itself is very clean and modern, I especially liked the mirrors they were tall and had a nice ring lighting attached to it. Reagan did my haircut today and she did an amazing job! She listened to everything I wanted and was very detailed. I grow out my hair very long and I don't like to cut it too short, and I loved that Reagan was very patient with me when I wanted the length of my hair and layers at certain lengths and asked me multiple times if I liked the length before continuing with the cut. I have been taking my daughter here since we moved to this area in 2011. So I recently sent my husband in to take my 8 year old daughter for a cut. I made the appointment and it was very clear she was a kid. The stylist (Victoria whom we had never seen before) asked my husband if it was okay to cut her hair on the regular side. He said sure. There is a higher price to cut on the regular side verses the kid's side. I think they saw it was daddy who was his my daughter and he wouldn't know any different about the price difference. What a sad way to make more money off a kid's haircut. So my husband told the stylist per my instructions to cut just below shoulders and and to add some layers as my daughter has curly thick hair. She said that length would be too short to add any layers!?! I have never been told that by any stylist for my hair or her hair. It is one of the worst cuts I have ever seen. I will have to take her elsewhere to get it fixed which was a fight to even get my daughter to go for a haircut anyways so I get to fight her all over again. Between being over charged for her hair (taking advantage of my husband and taking her to the adult side) and the poor cut we won't be back. read more

I have been going to the salon for a few years and always had a great experience. So when it came time for my 2 year old to get his first haircut, I naturally thought of the kids extension of the salon and made an appointment. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the experience. the stylist was friendly but she was very inexperienced. I showed her a photo of the style and she said ok. After two hours of trying to get my toddler to stay still, multiple redos, we ended up with a very visible line around his head from her not knowing how to properly fade a boy's haircut, she finally asked for help from another stylist. The other stylist came and faded that line in but went too short in parts of his head, very noticeable that it was not done right. What I was even more disappointed with was what she told me after I asked about that part of his head. She said it wasn't the cut, it was how his hair grew in there, that I should've gone to a barber shop instead, and that I shouldn't go that short next time. Keep in mind that the original photo was not a short cut, but because we had to keep fixing it, it went shorter and shorter. Regarding the barber shop comment, if someone would've told me that they are not able to do boys' cuts from the beginning, I would have gone somewhere else. I didn't mean for this review to be this long. In short, I think the salon should evaluate the experience level of their stylists. If they are still at the portfolio building phase, then that's where they should be with full disclosure. If a client's experience was less than because of their experience levels, it should not be made out to be the client's fault. What should've been a fun milestone turned out to be a negative experience, and comments like that did not help. I will continue to go to my stylist who I've had nothing but great experiences with but for my child, I will be taking my business somewhere else. read more

First time customer turned forever customer! Today I scheduled a last minute appointment with Kristina Hall that she had available! I got an all over color and cut. My previous experience at a DIFFERENT salon was not the best in terms of getting what I wanted. I saw Kristina's work on Instagram and became amazed. When I met Kristina and expressed what I was looking for, she listened and explained the process in such detail. The hairstylist destroyed my hair for $100. This was supposed to be a balayage. I have absolutely no experience in hairstyling, but if I had just bought some bleach at the drugstore, I could've done something less horrible this. Aside from having to celebrate my birthday with a disaster on my head, my biggest regret is not requesting a refund. My aunt was able to somewhat salvage my hair by adding lowlights, but I ended up going back to my natural color. Right off the bat the ladies at the welcome desk were super nice and welcoming and calmed my nervous energy after not having my hair professionally cut in a while. Jennifer was my stylist and she met me right on time and listened to exactly what I wanted and assured me that she would make it happen. All throughout the appointment Jennifer and some other ladies were working together with getting my hair washed, cut, blow dried and styled. I have been going to this hair salon for about a year now and I have gotten balayage multiple times. I have naturally thin dark brown hair. Well, I went about three weeks ago and asked for a trim and balayage, I had multiple pictures of what I wanted exactly. It was awful it was orange and streaky so I complained and went back again to get it fixed. The result of that are these pictures. It was so uneven and orange and the pictures explain. I have always liked my hair done by this salon. This was a really bad experience for me. When I went back to get it fixed I showed the same pictures that I did the first time. The result was the exact same. Still orange and streaky, but I made known many times that I didn't want anything orange and she understood and said she would fix it. I spent 290 dollars on this hair and it's really upsetting. I previously went to a different hair salon where they fixed my hair and took pictures of how bad it was. I also had a completely uneven hair cut which I couldn't take a picture of unfortunately. read more

Overpriced salon services. Owners don't care about customers and push products too hard. When a stylist gets an increase it comes out of clients pockets not mgmt. So a 75.00 cut is suddenly 80.00 and it's the same person, same cut. Many of us get a cut and color at the same time and not all stylists are good at both, but we don't have time to book different people. If customers are paying for raises why not do a survey to find out how we think our stylist is doing? read more

My stylist was friendly and very easy to talk to. I was thinking of a short cut with the back like an undercut bob ( i.e. Clair Foy). The back ended up too short and shaved. Not so great.... However, stopped in around 6 on a Saturday night to pick or exchange my stylist suggested. Ended up leaving with $435.00 worth of gifts (Christmas & a Birthday). The young woman that sold me the products was an outstanding and knowledgeable closer! I recall "Satira", but I could be wrong. Oh yes, I'll go back. ( I had an appointment that I came in 15mins early) So rude if I have an appointment you do what the customer wants. Not even the case. Sat in the sterile and uncomfortable waiting room for over forty minutes waiting for my waxing appointment. Waiting doesn't bother me in most cases, however, this situation was bothersome. No one from the front desk came to tell me that the stylist was running behind which was completely disrespectful of my time. I had to push my plans forward as a result of this ridiculously unprofessional client treatment. The stylist was apologetic and professional. She always does a great job. This review isn't about her it is about the way the business schedules and updates clients.
