Kyler was very responsive and answered all of my questions prior to bringing my car in for an xpel ceramic tint on all side windows and the windshield. When I arrived at the shop he also did a demo of what the heat feels like under no tint, a regular tint and ceramic tint. There's a huge difference! He also suggested how dark to go because I don't have a personal preference and have no idea of what looks good lol my main concern was blocking heat. The car looks great and feels nowhere near how it did after sitting in the sun prior to the tint. Xpel has a lifetime warranty which is also an added bonus. Kyler told us he took courses specifically with Xpel to have the ability to carry the brand so you know you're in good hands! read more

Kyler does an awesome job and is very professional. Like most people that get a new car, I wanted to get my windows tinted. I got a 2021 Jeep Renegade with a panoramic sunroof and I wanted all windows except for the front windshield tinted with ceramic tint. These are huge windows and he gave me a good quote to do them all. Plus he had good availability. After hours and hours of researching shops to get the windows tinted, I am so happy I chose to get it done with Kyler. Coming from Vallejo and knowing how many reputable shops there are in Solano County, I decided to cross the bridge because Kyler gave me a good price and the pictures on here speak to the quality of his work. The Xpel Prime XR film that he uses is high end quality film. In my opinion it's better than Llumar and 3M. I went through countless videos on YouTube comparing the quality of Xpel to other brands. I wanted to go with the Xpel XR plus film because it blocks out almost all (99%) of IR heat, but it was a little out of my price range. Even the Xpel XR blocks out a lot of heat. My car is significantly cooler than no tint. He was very helpful with helping me choose what percentage to get on each window based on what look I was trying to achieve. Since my back windows came with factory tinting, he suggested 30% or 35% film to give it that dark look and I ultimately went with 30%. It goes really well with 20% on the front windows which I wanted a little lighter. For the sunroof, I got 50% because I didn't want to block out too much sunlight and mainly got it to block out the heat. The quality of Kyler's work is some of the best I've seen. Some of the other cars I've gotten tinted have the usual tiny liquid bubbling that evaporate after a couple of days, but after I got it back from Kyler, there were absolutely no bubbles at all. On top of that, not all to tinters make the tint go all the way up to the top of the window. As shown in my pictures, he gets the tint all the way up to the edge. My other cars would have like a 3-5mm gap from the edge which is fine, but it may distract from the look of the car, but Kyler does an excellent job to get it all the way to the edge. I highly suggest going to Kyler. Just like getting a tattoo, you don't settle for some place that gives you mediocre quality and lower quality tint for a cheaper price. He gives you a good price and every dollar you "invest" in him will pay off tenfold in the long run. You won't go wrong with Kyler. I have already been telling all my friends, family, and coworkers about him. And I will definitely be going to him for any other cars I need to get done. read more

Kyler is awesome! He took his time explaining the different tints and answered all my questions. I had my RS5 done in the xpel plus and after sitting in the sun the inside of the car was still cool! The wife and I drove to get dinner and we didnt even have to turn the A/C on as the inside didnt get hot or stuffy! I would definitely recommend him for all your tinting needs! Finished product looks great! Thanks again! read more

I got a new car and of course, I couldn't wait to get it all prettied up. I researched a few car-tint places and I decided to go with this place mainly because they were so proactive on communication and answered all of my questions, via Yelp messages. I appreciated the transparency and fast quote. After getting a quote, I made sure that it was ceramic (per the reminder of the brother) and scheduled it on Thanksgiving day - I didn't think they were going to be open but both our schedules worked out perfectly. I met Kyler outside after a brief introduction as well as him explaining the different shades of tint. I decided to go for the Xpel 50% and he gave me a rough ETA (1.5 hrs) and since it's the pandemic, there wasn't a waiting area so my Dad and I walked around Walnut Creek (pre-exercise before our Thanksgiving dinner). After an hour, we came back and Kyler messaged me saying that he was almost done. He brought my car back and explained what to do (and not to do) as well as explaining his lifetime warranty. He also made sure that I liked what I saw (and I did!). Definitely recommend this business! Prompt, professional, and brilliantly done! read more

Great experince at TruTints. I had researched all the tint places in the area to see what brand they used and out of all of them; Tru-tints used the best at the same price as others. IN LOVE! I live in Fairfield, and you probably already know that there are a lot of tint auto shops around this area but I picked this one not only for the price but also for the quality. You see my car is not getting any younger so having a low price and good quality was definitely a steal! Requested a quote and boom! Replied quickly! Really thought I was texting because of how fast kyler replies but in reality it was emails! Right when I came in I was intimidated by the wonderful cars parked inside but right when Kyler and I started talking about tints. I felt welcomed and of course made me feel extra comfortable about bringing my old lady(g35) into the shop! Being a person who just wants their car tinted, and know nothing about cars. Kyler really helped me learn the different types of tints. Even though I was simply just pointing to other cars that are tinted that I like and explaining to him how I want my car to look like. He took that idea and went above and beyond, when I saw my car, I was amaze that my old lady look brand new! I thought it will only take about 45 minutes to hour but the wait took about 2-3 hours. I was a surprise of how long it took but I guess we can clearly say that good work takes time! This was definitely worth the wait! read more

First time had a car tinted. There were so many places to pick honestly. Glad I pick a good one. I first message the shop via yelp. The owner was very responsive and very helpful. Location is pretty good if you are familiar with concord. Shop is nice. They have a waiting room where you can watch Netflix and other stuff on tv while you wait. There are some snacks and drinks too. No idea about ceramic bec. like I said this is my first time. They have a demo in the waiting room where it shows you how ceramic tint blocks heat. There is a halogen light bulbs in a box made of glass. 3 sides had tints while the 4th doesn't. By rotating the box you can put your hands close to the glass and you can feel the intensity of the heat depending on the type of tint. The highest tier of ceramic tint, you can barely feel it. I thought it was a gimmick but I was really impressed. Anyways, I am very satisfied with the work. They said it will take 1-2 weeks for the tint to cure. And to comeback if there is any problem. The owner is really a nice guy. I suggest you give them a try when shopping around. -Victor read more

We got a Tesla tinted with Tru-Tints and he did a great job. We will be using him to tint our Subaru as well in the near future.

Kyler was excellent! He responded to my initial request super quick, even though it was a Sunday (Tru-Tints is closed on Sunday). He was responsive and able to get me a price, get me scheduled two days later. He said the Window Tinting process would take about 2 hours, but it only felt like an hour. Kyler did a really good job tinting my entire vehicle. I had previously brought it in for a tinting service from a different business nearby and end up asking them to remove the tint due to a horrible job they did. I found this place through google in trying to find a good spot for getting my windows tinted on both my brand new cars. Tru-tins had nothing but great reviews, so I hit them up to get a quote and find out what services they offered. I wanted to get the windows done asap, Kyler was not only able to squeeze me in this Saturday morning with both cars, but also get it done by noon...as I had a prior engagement to attend shortly after that. Kyler and his team did not disappoint...top notch work, and a quick turn around. The other quick tidbit that drew me in to them was how they car about customer's cars. In pics I had saw, they actually cover the door panels as they are installing the tint. I really appreciated that because most place don't do that, and window switches or any electrical buttons can get damaged...so great work. I would definitely will recommend them. Thanks Kyler! read more
