Tru-Tints - Car Window Tinting Near Me - Concord, California

Just got my second car 7 months later, and of course I went straight back to Tru-Tints for the window tint on my new Model Y. Just like last time, the service was fast, professional, and top-quality. These guys know what they're doing--clean work, no bubbles, perfect cuts. Highly recommend Tru-Tints if you want your car looking sharp and protected from day one. read more

From start to finish, this was the most pleasant and informative tint purchase I have ever had. Kyler was so reassuring and helpful and didn't bs his way through anything. He gave straight forward options, pricing and recommendations. Kyler was an amazing person to work with. A very genuine person. My new tint looks perfect. I would absolutely recommend Tru-Tints. I will be back for all of my future cars. Thank you again Kyler! read more

Had a seamless experience with a fast response and appointment time. Customer service was amazing, waiting room provided a comfortable place to relax along with complimentary snacks and drinks. The pricing is reasonable and the quality of work received is impeccable. I was able to add an additional request of service the same day and it was provided. The warranty that comes with the workmanship provides a peace of mind to the quality of work I received. Would definitely recommend this shop for anyone looking to get their windows tinted. My only complaint is my daughter's child seat was unbuckled during the process, which is fine if I was informed it was unbuckled or if the car seat was buckled back following work on that window. My daughter's car seat fell over to the side while driving on the way home and it was a minimal turn. Be cautious if you have a car seat in a space that needs to be tinted. Other than that enjoy! read more

I would highly recommend this shop for window tint. Kyler was very responsive to my inquiries and the pricing is competitive. The shop is extremely clean and organized and it's obvious this group takes pride in their work. They even fixed part of the job for me that was no fault of their own but something else I wanted. Will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for tint. read more

Great customer service and good quality tints! Thank you! Price was good compared to others.

5 stars all the way around! Kyler is informative, kind, professional, responsive and efficient. Kyler took the time to answer my questions, explain and the process. I waited about an hour and a half for the tint. I definitely recommend Tru-Tints and any future cars I get I will take to Tru- Tints. Thank you, Kyler and your team. read more

This is the second vehicle I brought to Kyler for window tinting. As always, he and his team delivered excellent work on my BRZ. I highly recommend them. I'm glad to see their service expand. Tru-Tint deserves all the success. Keep up the great work! read more

Read all the great reviews and reached out to Kyler for a quote. After trading some messages, we agreed on a date/time to come in. I arrived, was immediately greeted, and car was taken into the shop. Kyler confirmed what we originally discussed, and then they started the tint job on the car. I was able to take advantage of his nice break room, and the car was completed within the estimate he originally gave. I was able to watch some of the process, and he gave me a complete walk through after complete. I received all documentation, price was as discussed, and Kyler was not only professional and communicative, but an overall really nice person. The end result looks great, no bubbles, tint quality and workmanship look top notch. The only thing I haven't been able to test, is the heat rejection of the nano-ceramic tint, since it's still winter here. But overall, in terms of process, communication, and quality of workmanship, highly recommend Tru-Tints. read more

Just had my car tinted 4/14/25. Very professional, windows look good and they were very polite. I'd definitely recommend them.

Exceeded my expectations! Xpel XR Plus significantly decreased the interior heat so I could be more comfortable as I drive everyday doing my Home Health work! Kyler and his team were fantastic in explaining the different options. My main goal was to affect the heat. Now I don't feel the sun burning my skin thru the glass; it's definitely a huge difference! The front windshield tint is light enough and is almost like wearing polarized sunglasses; I haven't had to wear my sunglasses since. Going thru the Caldecott tunnel clarity is not affected and is actually enhanced. Highly recommended!! read more

Fast, efficient, friendly. I am so happy with my windows and feel so much safer driving with them tinted. It's truly a freeing experience. The windows themselves look great and there are no spots or imperfections. Kyler is super knowledgeable and listened to all my concerns and questions. It was also a really seamless and quick process. The pricing was super reasonable too. Definitely will be back for all my window-tinting needs. read more

Kyler and his team are elite! I came here originally to get my four windows and back windshield & they did an A+ job and then I came back to redo my two front windows (go darker) and front windshield & it was another top notch experience. Kyler did an amazing job tinting my Tesla model 3. I just googled a good place to get window tinting and found Kyler. His quote was the lowest for XR plus and I did the side and the rear. Maybe I will do the front too sometime. It looks amazing and it is done with perfection. Highly recommend. read more

Just wanted to let everyone know of the great work that Kyler had performed on my wife's Tesla. He is very friendly , honest and dependable. I wasn't sure if my wife was truly happy with the darkness of her vehicle and Kyler was willing to re-do the sides.. She ended up loving the work. The temperature will be over 100 degrees in a couple of weeks and to help reduce possible vehicle break-ins i decided to get my windows tinted. After searching window tinting companies in my area, i contacted Kyler, at Tru-Tints!! I explained that i didn't know anything about window tinting. Kyler, was very helpful, not only over the phone, but invited me to his shop to visually see the tints he offers. He was also accomodating with my work schedule and extended his normal hours of operation to help me get scheduled!! It only took a couple of hours and I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULT!! WINDOW TINT IS PERFECT!! I got what i wanted, but what i didn't expect was the reduction of heat when i get in my vehicle after being parked! AMAZING!! If you are considering tinting your windows.......LOOK NO Further and call Kylerat TRU-TINTS!! You won't be disappointed! Michael read more

I recently had my Tesla Model 3 windows tinted by Kyler and his team at Tru-Tints in Concord, and I couldn't be happier with the results. They tinted all four doors and the large rear window, and the job looks fantastic. I got the XPEL XR Plus ceramic tint. The tint is perfect - it looks great and blocks out the sun effectively. It took just over 4 hours, but was well worth it. Kyler and the team were professional and courteous throughout the entire process. They were also very knowledgeable about window tinting and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I would highly recommend Tru-Tints to anyone looking for window tinting services in the East Bay area. read more

Tru-Tints is an amazing shop! Kyler just tinted my Toyota Tundra with XPEL XR Plus and I could've be more impressed! The quality of work, product used, and customer service are all outstanding. Kyler quickly responded to my initial quote request within minutes and communicated very well throughout the process. At the shop, he took time to explain the differences between the different tint variations and products, so I could understand which options I was choosing. I was externally happy with the final product! Kyler tinted my previous car back in 2021 and did such a good job that I was excited to go back. It was great to see that his shop has expanded and growing. His great customer service and quality of work has earned my repeat business and I wouldn't consider using another shop in the future. If you are in the market for window tinting Tru-Tints is the best ... period. Thank you Kyler for an amazing experience! read more

I have been looking around my area for someone who can tint my car. I reached out to a couple places and Kyler gave me a fast response with a reasonable price. I do my research on the tint people use and the tint Kyler use is for sure one of the best. When I first met him he greeted me and gave me a run down on the tint percentages and the different quality of tint he uses. From tint just for car shows or tint to reduce heat during the summer. They worked really fast on my car and I was able to get my car back on the same day. Some places might take awhile, but they were fast, efficient and they did a really good job. I would recommend people to come here for a great tint or even if you need to get some paint protection film. read more

If you're looking for the best quality tint with the best quality work, then you've found the place. Kyler was quick to respond with a quote and was able to fit me in the following week. He exclusively uses Xpel (the best brand) and his pricing is reasonable. My bf and I went with ceramic 30% all around (excluding windshield) and it's the perfect shade (not too dark to where your risk of getting pulled over is higher, but not too light where you won't have privacy) for a silver car with black interior. If you're wondering if ceramic tints are worth the cost, then the answer is 100% YES! Please ask Kyler for a demo of the various types of tint he offers. The ceramic will blow your mind! Anyway, Kyler was extremely professional, personable, and wasn't pushy. My bf and I enjoyed getting to know him and we're looking forward to getting our windshield done after it's replaced. Kyler, thank you for the great service. We'll see you soon! Sidebar: While you wait, I highly recommend dining at Vic's restaurant in Martinez. They're about 10 min away and open from 10am - 2pm on weekdays. Their food and service are incredible. You're welcome! Otherwise, there are lots of restaurants and shopping near Tru-Tints that you can choose from. read more

It was my first time getting my car tinted and I was very nervous because I don't know much about cars, let alone anything about tinting. Kyler really took his time to explain to me the different types of tinting and shared his recommendations as a first time tinter. I came from South San Francisco all the way to Concord because I knew he would take care of my car, and he did not disappoint. He really took customer service to the next level! So happy with the results of my car tinting and so glad I trusted Kyler. He will definitely take care of you! Really excited to see his business evolve. Ya'll better get your car tinting done with Kyler before he gets too busy and won't be able to squeeze you in! With competitive pricing and excellent customer service, I would give Kyler 10 stars if I could. read more

Kyler is awesome. Very nice and friendly guy who does flawless work. He's also very organized and sends confirmation text, reminder texts, and gives you an invoice of the services you purchased so you don't forget what percentage tint you requested. I got Xpel XR Plus on all my windows except the windshield. It's already made a massive difference in heat rejection while making the overall profile of my Toyota Tundra look truly exceptional. There's a nearby shopping center where customers can hang out while the work is being done; he even offered to drop me off but I politely declined since it was a nice day for a walk. I'll be bringing my new EV here next year when I take delivery. Also check out his partner's business Paint Protection Concepts for PPF installation, which is in the same building. read more

Great experience. I reached out to Kyler over Yelp and got a timely response with an estimate. We setup an appointment for a few days out. When I arrived, he walked me through the options and gave me a demo of the heat dissipation that ceramic tint provides. He then went about his work and was done in a couple hours.
