Tatiana was amazing! She gave me a perfect haircut and taught me so much about my hair

Worst haircut I've ever had I've been waiting two months to be able to feel like myself again still hasn't grown out. Do not get your haircut here. So bad so bad read more

My brother came here to get a medium fade, and he said this was the best haircut he has ever received. The ladies working listen to you, and give you exactly what you ask for. My brother has 3 Calik's that are hard to work with, and the lady had absolutely no problem getting the perfect cut! Very clean shop! read more

Visiting from GA. Reached out for appointment. Great experience. Maria gave me the perfect haircut. Highly recommend Tru-Cuts.

They were amazing, my hair feels great and I loved talking to Mari! I think that was her name, but really nice :) Easy parking as well and didn't take too long. I'm definitely coming back. read more

Got a haircut and breakfast right next door to each other. Very convenient. The lady here squeezed me right in as a walk in. Did my hair exactly how I wanted for $30. Can't ask for much more. read more

Was seated promptly and got a very good haircut. Staff was friendly and price was reasonable.

Contacted this location through Yelp (11/26) and they replied quickly. We were fortunate to make a same day appointment for my son. My son had very long hair and wanted a very drastic and asymmetrical cut. Our stylist was Chong and she is outstanding! Very talented......would highly recommend her !!! Price was very good, service is outstanding, and my son left so happy! Thank you CHONG and Tru-Cuts!!!!!!! read more

Solid ladies give great fades. I'm a big fan and have gone twice now after going to a place for years that I was never that stoked on the results. Nice view and easy street parking. read more

Tru- Cuts was clean and professional. We appreciated a beard trim and shampoo for my disabled husband at a great price.

After an extensive search, I've finally found a stylist in the area! Edie is amazing--welcoming, professional, patient, and talented. She did an excellent hair wash--so relaxing; and gave me a super cute cut. Bonus: the shop is clean, well-lit, and has giant windows with views of the bay, with free 90 minute parking all around. 5/5 stars-- highly recommend. Can't wait to go back. read more

I have gone here for over 10 years. Connie doesn't just cut my hair but she is a dear lady and friend. She has even cut my mom's hair when she comes to town. read more

Best view of any haircut anywhere. Gentle & kind people there! Easy walk to the place in my neighbourhood.

Just walk in... not even a hello! Waited there,no response! Two people working there, they obviously noticed us! read more

I've been going here for 7 years and would never go anywhere else. Edie is the best. This place is so clean too. She is so personable and genuine. She knows her customers so well and has even gotten to know my three year old. We always discuss traveling and life and at the same time she does an excellent job cutting my hair. My wife and I (and three year old) highly recommend this place. Plus, I love supporting local and small business! read more

Received a great haircut from Soe! She is easy to talk to and very talented, especially with scissors. I did not have to give too much direction and she did such a good job. Thank you Soe! I will be back. read more

They now take credit cards and a mens cut is $25. Soe did a great job and the ocean view from the chair was amazing.

I got my first "professional "haircut from this place about a year ago and I absolutely loved it. The woman cutting my hair was really considerate to the design I wished. I printed out pictures of the style that I wanted and she cut it very well. When she started speaking a different language to a family member nearby, she asked me if it was OK and I thought that was really considerate of her. I remember leaving that day very happy! I wish I left a review sooner. Thank you! read more

First time coming here and I had a bad cut. One of the thing I didn't like was my side burn, it was too short and not even. Didn't even ask me how short I want my side burn. The haircut was another story. I also got shampooed and it was the quickest shampoo ever. In short, never coming back here. read more

We were in town for vacation and dropped in to get my 8 year old's hair cut. Edie did an excellent job!

I miss Narcii so much, as I'm writing this review during the pandemic. I've spent way too much on haircuts at expensive salons, and have never gotten better more consistent cuts anywhere. Friendly, fun, fast, and I can now afford to keep up my hair more regularly without having to stretch my budget. Hurry back! read more

Tru-Cuts - I can't decide which one to get. - Barbers Near Me - Monterey, California

I showed up on time. I asked if they take credit card and they told me they only take cash. They said a CVS is 2 blocks away with an ATM. I go to find it. It was actually not 2 blocks away and was a 20 min. round trip walking. I return, and the person who was going to cut my hair decided to leave and their next availability was too late before the wedding I was in town for. Would not recommend. 2 stars for them being nice in person. read more

Adequate. No wait time on the weekday that I went. Cash only. Interior design could use a face lift. Full salon. Family haircut place, so if you are looking for a more traditional barbershop.... you may want to look elsewhere. Price for men's haircut: $14.99 (as of August 2010) read more

Came into town for work and decided my hair was slightly too shaggy. Looked up walk in places and Tru Cuts was a block away from my hotel(cannery inn). I can't remember her name, but she was so friendly, price was $30 with $8 tip, and it may be the best haircut I've ever got!! I can't give this place enough praise!!! If I lived in town I would only come here!!! read more

Unable to find a decent haircutter in Los Angeles I found this place thru a recommendation from a local and I haven't regretted it since. So far I've been pleased with Soe and Edie-both rely on scissors more than the clippers and I feel this method provides a better haircut. So happy to find this place!! read more

I've been here three times, got three different people (I believe that is the whole staff) and every haircut has been perfect

We live one block away and have been looking for a local place. After trying some spots near the mall, we realized all those places are too much since they have wait times that are ridiculous. Loved my basic trim with Abel today and sending my whole family there! Can't beat the prices for this area, and local shop. Found my haircut place! read more
