Made the kids happy, which made me happy. There's a pool! They allow pets! The room was SPOTLESS and comfy. We only stayed a night but I wish I could live there! The desk was small and came pre cluttered with things like a gigantic landline phone, some random electronic device with RJ45 connectors on both ends but not plugged into anything and a large alarm clock. I threw all that stuff into a corner so that I could use the desk for what I wanted to use it for. The room was well worn but not in bad shape. The thermostat is legit and you can get your room down into the low 60s F if you want to. The hallways stink but the rooms don't. Mostly blue collar traveling workers from what I saw, which is what I am.

At least the hallways were fairly quiet to counteract that. The shower water pressure was nice, though it would've been better if the temperature could get hotter. It was only warm. That goes for the sink as well - it didn't produce hot water let alone warm. I could only wash my hands in cold water. Hazleton is a small town, so it makes sense that there would not be any five star hotels nearby. If you like free breakfast and parking this is the place to stay. It's also the closest Marriott to the town. A short-term stay wouldn't break the bank and the hotel is convenient and comfortable.

We also took advantage of the indoor pool and dry sauna, both were spotless and in great condition. The lobby had a refreshing water cooler that stayed cool and fully stocked all day, along with well maintained coffee station, with regular, decaffeinated and hot water for tea.
