There was some minor issues but the most glaring was the check engine light. David said the issues would be taken care of, go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours. He called me and said they needed a part that would not be there until Monday. David paid for my flight home and said the truck would be shipped to me. I received the truck late the next week. When driving from where I received the truck, the check engine light came on. I notified him of this issue and he said to have it fixed locally and he would reimburse me. It has been several months and many texts and calls and still no reimbursement. Up until this point, David lived up to his word but I am extremely disappointed to have to write a partial negative review due to not receiving this promised reimbursement. In addition, the check engine issue took two times to resolve, the second requiring an additional cost which I decided to absorb thinking I would get the promised reimbursement. Constantly interrupted me, which seems a strange choice when I have diagnostic information you need. So much so once on the phone that I had to make a complaint and speak with a different mechanic who could compose himself as a decent human being. They once repeatedly insisted that I needed a new compressor BEFORE even looking at my car and even AFTER I told them that I had just had it replaced 2 months ago. Then insulted my normal mechanic who had done the job, insinuating that he didn't know how to install a compressor. Without knowing him, and again, without having looked at the engine. Awkward much? Shockingly, it wasn't the compressor. It was an air leak as I had said in the first place and that they had failed to find in the end. Took it to a non saab mechanic. I used to take it here for diagnosis when something was really tricky but I'll be glad never to go back here again. Good news is, they were so difficult that I learned how to do a few things myself to avoid being held hostage to ignorance. Just replaced my vacuum lines, ignition coils and spark plugs myself. I called and asked why would I add the extended and not add the Gap when I also had the Gap on the older vehicle. They are all crooks.
