Went to Troy's with my friends after the Bleachers concert last night,I loved the unique concept by Troy Aikman! Not only was the full menu being served still but they also had live music! The stage was in the middle of the patio and the main restaurant so both guests sitting inside and outside were able to listen. Our server was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. I didn't get to try one of the ten burgers this time, but I will definitely be back to Troy's gourmet burger selection! read more

Took a party of five there...And I want to start out by saying this place is new so they do need some grace while they work out issues with the staff. This was a Sunday and it appeared that they only had a couple of waiters but a jillion servers bringing food. The place was about half full of guests. Don't come here to be in a hurry by the way, it is a fun place. Having said that though, it took forever just to get someone to the table to take a drink order. The waitress was not real excited about her role but she wasn't rude. She would disappear and we wouldn't see her for a while...we actually ordered our food when we placed the drink order because we had so much time to wait. It took forever to get the food to the table and it wasn't totally correct, but no real issue....the waitress commented that the kitchen was making a lot of mistakes today. Probably not the right thing to say....once we did get our food it was great. The #2 burger was awesome and so were the wings. Once again it took forever to get refills and additional beer ordered. The atmosphere is loud and festive, probably a fantastic place to be when there is a live band. Food choices and preparation is great. They just struggle right now with staff which will get worked out over time. Would definitely come back. read more

Great food and great service!! We were very excited to try Troy's after hearing such great things about this restaurant. It also helps that we are big Cowboys fans and even named our son Troy. We had an early dinner here after arriving from a long flight and we were not disappointed. The margaritas were delicious and the kids loved their meals too. First, the facility is awesome. It's a sports & music fan's dream. That's the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars. The wings seemed like they were precooked, or at least frozen. Also, we ordered beers and they sell you the glass wether you want it or not. My wife ordered a Blue Moon & it was $13!! She had a burger, beer and mixed drink, and I had wings and 2 beers. The food was excellent. Great, I mean GREAT service. The drinks were great too. We had the bee sting wings for an appetizer. They we super crispy and loaded with the honey like sweet and spicy wing sauce. Perfect - and I don't usually care for anything chicken. Great server and all the other support kitchen staff who delivered our food or snagged a side of mayo. They were all very good. Drinks took a while. But that was okay because we ordered iced teas too. The only downer was the bead pudding for dessert. It was served in a small cast iron skillet. But it was the size of a small brownie and had fake tasting ice cream on top. To say the least - we were not expecting that at the end of our otherwise fantastic experience. The live band (I think it was Brett) was pretty good too. Great seating - we were on the raised section of booths, smack dab in the middle. It had a perfect view of the band. I recommend asking for that section. And get there a little after 8 on a Friday night if you don't want to wait 2 and a half hours. We waited a short 35 minutes. It was a nice experience in the new Texas Live section in Arlington. And Troy - if your out there. Please review that dessert. It just was not up to the level of the other food. read more

We ordered the Korean BBQ wings and the Korean burger with fries. First off the wings did not taste like Korean bbq, the burger was horrible dry and very bland and the fries were cold and very salty. The only thing I enjoyed was the big screen TVs and the lemon water. read more

Went to Troy's the other night to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived, the hostesses were chatting amongst themselves and weren't eager to find out why we were there. Though the restaurant was half empty, when they finally spoke to us they said it would be 35 minutes before they could seat us. We decided to wait, and strangely were seated in ten minutes. Our table was directly under a speaker and the music was playing so loud I thought it would damage my hearing. I asked the hostess if they could turn down the music a little and she said no and walked away. The waiter approached our table and I wish I knew his name as he was the bright spot in the evening. Sadly I couldn't hear him. We decided to leave due to the volume but the waiter offered to turn down the music. That helped and eventually it transitioned into live music which was at a much better level. The food was pretty good (the Frito pie burger inexplicably had no Fritos and a few other issues) and our waiter was great. I will give it another chance but wait a month or two to give management time to properly train the hostesses. read more

Went with 4 adults and two kids. Isaiah was our server. He was awesome. One of the best servers I've ever had. The place has kids menus but no crayons. Isaiah couldn't believe it so he gave the kids his ball point pens!! Took our order and that's when things went down hill. The person who brought out our food told us the wrong names of the food so we got our orders mixed up and things were missing so they took a burger back. Turns out it was the right one so then they brought out another one and it was the wrong type. Finally got our burgers correct. Fries were ice cold but didn't want to say anything because of all the confusion. The pimento cheese burger was good. My burger was the one they kept getting wrong so when I finally got the right one it was very raw inside. I think they just tried to hurry and get it out. The children's Mac and cheese was the best thing there!! Way too much money for the quality of food. Isaiah was the best thing about the place. He made it tolerable. I know it's a new place but you can serve hot food. read more

This was my first time at Texas Live and it was a big disappointment. Upon arrival the atmosphere seemed pleasant, crowded but nice. When we found a table in Troy's and sat for about thirty minutes before we were able to stop someone to ask for a waitress. About fifteen minutes after that the waitress finally comes over to take our order. The waitress asked us to be patient as they were understaffed and it was only her and one other person that was waiting the patio. We ordered our food and drinks and waited patiently for the waitress to bring what we ordered. When we finally received our food the wings were barely warm and the drinks were watered down. While going to the restroom I noticed the kitchen where the waiters were to pick up food, there was so much food just sitting there getting cold and not being served to the customers that ordered it. We asked for the check as soon as the waitress brought the food because we knew we weren't going to order anything else because the turn around time was far to great. It took about an additional 45 minutes to get the check and by then we had finally found some chairs on the inside of Troy's because it was cool on the patio so part of my party had to wait until the waitress brought the check finally. My cousin wanted some fries while watching the game and the waiter refused to serve he because we weren't at a table. While inside Troy's there was a party that was gradually leaving and one of my friends asked the couple that was sitting at the table if they'd mind if we could sit with them and they said sure. My cousin attempted to order food while sitting at the table and again she was refused service because the waiter said the table wasn't for us and it was for someone that had been waiting for 3 hrs. By this time the couple that was sitting there had left for the night. The waiter said that he was going to get his manager because we need to move from the table we were at. The manager finally comes over to the table about 10 to 15 minutes after the waiter left and she expressed the same urgency for my party to move. She wanted to seat us some where else and though part of my party went to the other table by this time I was over all the drama of the night. Also there was less than 5 minutes left in the game so there was no point in making such a scene for a table that was not reserved for anyone. There was no accommodation for the rudeness or inconvenience what's so ever. I am not pleased with my experience at Texas Live at all I'm actually quite disappointed in the level of customer service. read more

The food and the service was excellent. The wait staff was very helpful in seating us where we would be away from the live band. I can understand having live music on Friday and Saturday and even other evening games. However, Sunday afternoon games, the live music is too noisy. You cannot even carry on a conversation. This place was amazing. Troys is next to Texas live as well as AT and T stadium and Globe Life Park. The restaurant is clean and the service was good for the most part didn't mess up on our order.The food was good we got the chicken wings and bacon burger and both were very delicious. I had the absolute worst turkey burger ever! I was with a large group, and only two out of the eleven of us finished our meals. Everyone ordered a burger, and they were all grossly over cooked. On a positive note, we had a great server! We definitely won't return, though. We were wishing we had gone to Whataburger. read more

I was there for the cowboys game this past weekend it was so crowded the lines at the bar were so long. I just wanted a water and cold beer from a distance I see a young lady with curly brown hair in a corner standing behind a mini bar I'm guessing it's a speed bar or something like that she was so beautiful and her smile was gorgeous. I asked for a cold miller lite and a bottled water I was able to get my miller lite but wasn't able to get my water she said she asked her manager almost an hour ago and she never got a case of it. I noticed she didn't have very much to sell but miller and coors but her personality was great I walked around and saw more displays like hers with more variety of beers and drinks 1 lady even had beer she could poor from the wall. I went back to the last girl that sold me the miller I enjoyed speaking with her no matter how busy it was she still managed to keep a smile on her face later I found out her name was Brittany or Queen she was amazing just wish management would have set her up for success in bringing more variety of drinks to her display could've brought the company more money Thanks Troy for having an amazing employee. read more
