Upon receiving the bat, I noticed that the end-cap was poorly glued and the glue had even dripped onto the barrel, making it obvious that a modification had been made. After approximately 10 games, the end-cap tore. OUTLAWEDBATS agreed to fix the end-cap if I mailed it to them. After approximately 1 month, I received the bat back and noticed that they had cracked the barrel when replacing the end-cap. They even glued the crack as if I wouldn't notice! I contacted OUTLAWEDBATS, who acknowledged the damage they caused, but wouldn't take responsibility. They told me that the glue they use is very strong and that it was difficult to remove the end-cap. The bat is worthless at this point and OUTLAWEDBATS has refused to replace it. Please don't make the same mistake I did and order from this company!! Here is an actual email response from the owner... There's always a chance that something might happen when fixing something like that. If the bat was brand new I'd defiantly replace it but not after being used for 6 tournaments and you claiming the end cap was coming off in which it defiantly wasn't, the tearing of the cap has nothing to do with the work I did and I thought it was a good gesture to offer and try to fix it for free. As far as your threats that you're very involved in the softball world? I'd be careful because I am as well and I know all the national directors and as you've said that you have saved all your emails, well so have I. I really wanted to have a good experience with Ken Sporting Goods because we've used them for my…read moredaughter's letterman jacket since her freshman year, but unfortunately there have been problems almost every time. Her freshman year, they spelled her name wrong even though it was correct on the signed proof. They also put a patch on the wrong sleeve and told us we would have to pay for a new sleeve if we wanted it fixed, so we just left it. Now she's a senior, and I was told her senior year embroidery may not fit correctly because the spacing from the previous years was done wrong. We've also had rhinestones fall off within days and had to pay to replace them. The latest issue is what really pushed me to write this review. I was told her embroidery would take no more than two weeks, which would have had her jacket back right before Senior Night. I checked in and was then told it would be ready almost a week later, after Senior Night. The customer service throughout all of this has been disappointing and often rude. These jackets are a big deal to students and families, especially senior year, and I just don't feel like that is understood here. I have another child who is a freshman and already on varsity, and I will definitely be going somewhere else for his jacket.
