You are going to pay a little bit more with Troy Construction, but many times you get what you pay for and, it is true in this case. We had the bathroom completely remodeled from top to bottom. This company only wants to work with people who will spend a minimum of $20k-25k, regardless of the project. Our bathroom remodel only required a new vanity counter top, sinks, and minor changes to the shower, but they wouldn't consider helping us unless we had a minimum budget of $20k. They are by far the most overpriced company in Coachella Valley. read more

So I want to be clear my review is solely on the quote process as I did not hire this company for my bathroom remodel. I sent out a project request through Yelp and received four contractor's response. This company responded immediately and gave me a quote from pictures I texted them. Their quote came in the middle of a significant range from high to low. The other three contractors came in person and took measurements and photos. They were responsive when I asked several questions via text however, when I reached out to them advising that they were in contention for my business as they were in the middle price range with another company, I asked if they could come out to see the project in person so I could meet them and answer a few questions as I wasn't comfortable that the quote from the phone pictures was going to be the final price without seeing the bathroom in person. From that point I never got a response so I went with another contractor who did an amazing job. My thought was "if you are not responsive when trying to get my business, what will the experience be once you have my business"? It is unfortunate as they have great reviews and I would have liked to give them the opportunity to secure my remodel business had they just taken the time to come in person like the others all did so that I felt comfortable that the quote would not change once they saw the actual project. read more

I submitted a request for proposal on a 25,000sqft project in January. They submitted the most comprehensive line item proposal by far within 1 week. We were able to see 3 other projects that were currently under construction. Although we did not work together on the original proposal, we are working with them on 4 additional projects. We had a small bathroom repair needing some Sheetrock and new flooring and tile. They were very quick to provide a reasonable price for the work. Rudy was excellent. Showed up on time each day. They found a plumbing issue and got their own plumber to come out same day and make those repairs so the rest of the work could continue. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I called and left a message to make an appointment for an estimate on a few remodeling projects at my home. I received a text from Jason and he was attempting to give me an estimate via TEXT. When I said that this is not working and he would need to come to my house, he made an appointment to visit. He did not show up at the agreed time and when I sent him a text a got no response I called and left a message on the answering machine. Jason sent me a text back saying he put it on his calendar and it disappeared. Reputable companies do not conduct business like this. Reader: please read both my review and the owner's comments. They removed the shower and tub and built me a really big tile shower. Justin listened to what I wanted, made suggestions & recommendations and got the job done in a very timely manner. Justin was quick to set up a consultation and estimate for our backyard project. My wife and I moved into our home and wanted to make our backyard a fun space to relax and play with the dogs. He listened to our ideas and wants, and made recommendations to best suit the space and stay within budget. Justin brought in two experts. With Troy Construction there is no need for any of these worries. We recently completed a major remodel of our kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and the entire pool deck. Justin, the owner, is obviously focused on making sure that the client is completely happy with the progress and the end results. I just did partial kitchen remodeling with Troy Construction: remove a wall between kitchen and hallway, change tile in the kitchen, install a sliding door between kitchen and office room. It tool them about 20 days to complete the job. Justin is very good contractor who oversee the whole project. I live in LA, can't stay in the desert to watch the work. Justin communicate with me by texting a Video whenever there is a question. It helps a lot for me to know the entire process during their work. I have an open kitchen through my living room now.
