I have used Vincere industries for different jobs at home with varying degrees of complexity. There are several things that I like from Vincere Industries. First of all, they are dependable. Once you reach out to them, they provide an expected timeline, and they stick to it. They are also very quick in their turnaround. One challenge I've found here in the Valley is that you need to call contractors several times before they pickup. This is not the case with Vincere. They are very proactive in reaching out and following-up. Second, their quality of work is excellent. You can really trust that whatever work they are doing for you, it will be a top-notch work. Third, you can trust they are giving you the right quote. I never felt like I was given an insane quote. It always felt like the right price point. Fourth, they really listen to the customer, and make sure they understand their requirements. Once the job is done, they go over it to make sure everything was done properly. Mike deserves a special mention. He really listens to the customer requirements, and goes the extra mile to address them. Whenever there are challenges that arise, he is very articulate in explaining what the problem is, and providing a set of alternatives alongside their tradeoffs. The apartment above my unit leaked water and it came thru my ceiling. Vincere was one of the contractors that was used to reconstruct the ceiling after having to tear out the drywall. This stuff all happened around the Holidays. OMG. What a bummer. But you know what, they showed up. They took care of business. The thing I was MOST impressed with was the QUALITY of the work. The gentleman who did the drywall install, texturing and paint did a beautiful job. He's a real pro. Could the office be a little better at training to calls. Yes. But I'll tell you, I'd use them again simply due to the impeccable job the guy did. The cost wasn't particularly bad either..I thought it was going to cost a lot more. Came to our home for a leak thru home warranty We found leak after they cut hole in wall we could see it coming up from slab - they said turn off water and we will be back will call in a hour - nope Next morning nothing no call nada d Check warranty online and see they closed the order, we call and they say oh sorry we dont have equipment to fix your issue. We didnt even get a courtesy call saying they couldn't do it We are back to square one and having to call warranty company again still no water after 5 days Update: Owner did reach out to try and fix issue said employees said 'we not interested' in a repipe (which was never offered) they kind of missed out on upselling the customer on this one. This is the second time since buying a 1957 Mid Mod home that we've had to call Vincere to help us out due to shower backing up amd water coming from underneath the toilet. Alexis rocks and was able to send Julian out to us again. Julian cleared our main line that was full of roots...sigh. Julian is a great representative for Vincere. He explained what he was doing, what he found and the possible causes of why. To say I'm disappointed and frustrated would be an understatement. I thought dealing with the owner, Anthony, would have made things go smoothly, but there are so many issues with this company and how they operate with Distinctive Flooring. Vincere and Distinctive say they are the same company, but it's just the back office that is the same company because the crews operate like two unrelated companies. The two crews barely speak to each other and there is no accountability between the teams. There is no foreman that oversees the work that both crews do, so they each do work with different visions and it doesnt come together at the end. Case in point, look at the picture with the shower valve (Vincere) and niche (Distinctive), nobody working on either part thought to center the niche and shower valve. And neither Anthony or Angel noticed this issue along the way or saw it as a problem, I had to call it out as an issue to get it redone. This is just one example of many rework issues we had. The rework became so bad that I had to watch over the crew constantly. I moved out of the house during the renovation, but worked from the backyard (thanks to quarantine I didn't go into an office) so I could watch the crew to make sure they didn't do more crazy stuff. Even if I explicitly marked where and how things needed to be placed, they would still install things in the wrong places. I have a medicine cabinet that was placed too high for me to properly use it. They almost installed the chandelier in the wrong place but I was able to catch them because I was working from the backyard. All of this rework doubled the time they were supposed to be in the house, which increased my hotel expenses, making the job cost more and made our house unlivable for an extra month. To pour salt in the wound, while I was waiting for final parts to be delivered before I delivered the final check, Anthony threatens me with a lien for not giving him the final check before final parts are delivered. It was so distasteful to be threatened with a lien when this company can't even deliver quality work or finish a job. Who expects final payment if the job isn't done? This place. An incompetent, avaricious contractor who doesn't even know what work has been done. They did the remediation after a water leak at my home. The work involved removal of sheetrock, insulation, and baseboard, for which they were paid handsomely by my insurer. But they keep billing me for reconstruction work ($3,500) THAT THEY DID NOT DO. I hired the contractor to do the reconstruction work myself, paid him by check, and was reimbursed by my insurer for his work as part of the insurance claim. I didn't use Vincere, but they keep trying to bill me. I would not recommend them for anything. read more

My home warranty sent them out and it was not a good experience period! Kept rescheduling my appt, no big deal I will work with anyones schedule, but then to come out the 2nd time and say they cannot fix the issue call your home warranty and get someone else, but cannot do that until Vincere updates the work order after 2 attempts to get them to update the work order my home warranty canceled the work order and start a new one as if Vincere never came out, not a good business practice in my view. read more

Vincere did a fantastic job helping us out with a variety of problems we had in our house. We had a mystery roof leak that was diagnosed and repaired, along with the drywall damage it had created. Both teams did a fantastic job with the repairs. Additionally, we had an exterior wall that required stucco and some dry rotted veneer. Again, 2 teams sent to stucco and replace wood feature. Looks great! We also had a mystery electrical circuit failure that left us without a functioning master bathroom. The electrical team diagnosed and repaired as estimated and the cost for all repairs was itemized and accurately priced. I highly recommend using Vincere Industries! I called about 6 electricians yesterday morning to get a quote to put an electrical outlet behind a wall mounted TV. Vincer was the first to call back within an hour of me calling them, half of the companies still haven't called back! They gave me a great quote and was able to schedule it for the next day. The electrician showed up on time today and was able to do a very good job and within am hour ha was all done and cleaned up the area very nicely. Shocking behavior. *UPDATE After discovering a leak in a pipe repaired by Vincere IN 2019, our new repairman uncovered a nail taped to the steel pipe. This nail corroded the steel and now, years later, there is a hole and a leak. At the time of the initial leak the tile needed to removed throughout our kitchen and when they were finished replacing it the tiles they were uneven and they left hollowness underneath which can be heard still to this day. I questioned the workers who they employed, they used subs who did not seem to know what they were doing and when I questioned them I was met with hostility. A smaller secondary sink needed to be re-plumbed and still does not work to this day. I would not be writing this review except for the fact that the nail was purposely taped to the pipe and caused corrosion and a leak and now I am going through a nightmare all over again thanks to Vincere. Comment to their response: it was a leak discovered yesterday at the site of the last leak not along yards, feet, whatever length of pipe. A steel nail ( now rusted) was taped to the pipe. Now, 4 years later the pipe finally leaked because the 2 metals corroded each other. You can say what you want but I have texts and emails from that time period reflecting issues we had with your company. The pandemic hit and we let it go but to discover this now, I have to speak up and warn others! read more

After a couple of really great remodels (a secondary bathroom and a two-room casita and bathroom) Vincere Construction has earned my trust and are my "go to" for jobs large and small. They were my first call when we had a plumbing problem that flooded part of the house and they handled it from flood damage remediation to full restoration of about 35% of the house that was impacted. Anthony Goebel is the BEST! He is like a home repair "concierge," with staff to take care of repairs, painting, electrical, plumbing, etc. whenever I need something. He even bailed me out with a loaner fridge when my main refrigerator went out early in the pandemic and I couldn't get a repair person out. That kind of service and reliability deserves a 5 star review. read more

STAY AWAY! I believe at least the most recent reviews were front loaded in anticipation of mine. Our 3 month project (4 with change orders) took 14 months. No kidding. Our first foreman was fired and Anthony stepped in. With our first foreman, we were quoted one price then received change orders for 4 times more. We thought it would be better with Anthony running our $140k remodel (excluding tile appliances and fixtures) on 1200 square foot house, but no. Vincere charged us for permits that they didn't pull, then Anthony blamed us when the City put in place a stop order, which contributed to the long time it took to complete the project. But that is not all. I asked that air ducts be cleaned, Anthony said they were, but the first time I turned on the air, Black tonic junk and fuzz blew out the vents. I had a toxic reaction to it and am STILL recovering, 10 weeks later. There is much more, but I couldn't possibly list everything. It includes: misplacing a $1800 kitchen sink and some kitchen fixtures, accused us of still having them, then months later finding them in their possession Work not done to specifications: plumbing installed with location changed so custom-made vanity didn't fit, other plumbing installed that wasn't tested before the wawas closed up - leaks detected when water poured through wall into bedroom. Roof installed without plumbing for solar panels despite our instructions. Paint is flat finish (cheaper) than requested eggshell, and has roller fuzz and other gobs; Imperfections in plaster and wood trim not repaired and just painted over. Stove installed and not tested to find they failed to run 220 to the kitchen. Sliding glass door installed without repairing outside stucco or painting trim. Tiles chipped during installation and grouted in had to be replaced. Chips in new quartz countertop. Light switches that don't connect to any lights, and some lights don't connect to switches. We are still finding issues, 10 months later and after signing a release. In sum, Vincere Construction is devoid of responsibility, ethics and accountability. I repeatedly asked for a schedule and never got one. Repeatedly sent pictures and lists of issues, and Anthony would claim he wasn't aware of them. It just goes on and on. My suggestion to anyone who uses Vincere is to make detailed notes of all conversations and memorialize them in an email. You will need them for your lawsuit. My suggestion to Anthony and everyone at Vincere is to buy a notepad and keep notes on the project. Get a calendar and schedule the project out every 2 weeks. Provide it to the client. QC the work you and your subs do. You know, project manage it. ********************************************** After posting this review, Brandon called to "make things right." While he Had his team clean the splattered stucco off windows and screens, remove a concrete slab as promised, patch holes under the sliding glass doors, and repair the new recessed light, the door that was painted shut was unstuck but not repaired and we still have a substandard paint job. I am a remote landlord and selling my condo in Palm Springs. The inspector found moisture behind the toilet in the bathroom. So I need to open the dry wall to fix the problem. I know many plumbing companies don't do drywall but I was hoping that I could find one. Luckily I found Vincere and they DO take this small job and their quote is fair. After they open the wall they found out the water is not from the toilet but the drain pipe leaking from upstairs. He immediately contacted the property manager informing her about the issue. He gave me a schedule when they will come to fix it and when to close the wall. I am glad that I found them and will definitely recommend them if anyone encounter any issues in their home. read more

Our Home Warranty provider assigned Vincere Industries for a plumbing issue we reported in April. We were getting sewage smells from some of our drains, and was hoping to get it resolved by a plumber. Vincere sent a someone (cannot remember his name) to inspect our pipes. The plumber was pretty hesitant about resolving the issue, but had a roto-rooter tech come out to try to clear the main drain. Shortly after the service, we did not notice much improvement, but within a few months, we were seeing water backup from our AC unit's condensation drain. Thinking that it was an AC issue, we called an AC tech... but they insisted that it was a plumbing issue. So we contacted a different plumbing company... Sure enough, during this inspection, the plumber found a RAG stuffed down the AC condensation drain (see photo below)... I know this was done by the Vincere plumber, because there was another rag stuffed around our washer drain as well. This guy calls him a professional?? NEVER use this company! read more

We had previously used Vincere for a remodel of a laundry room, powder room, entire home painting and replacement of older electrical lighting with new lighting. Recently we experienced another issue when a wire was struck while someone was hanging a picture. We contacted Vincere repair service and had their electrician Bob come out to assess the situation. He wore his mask the whole time which we loved, was knowledgeable about the problem we faced, and was able to assess the damage that had been caused.
