There was one customer ahead of me, who seemed more concerned with making conversation with me and asking me what I would be ordering, rather than making his own decision. After it was finally my turn, I asked the employee if a specific product contained custard or pastry cream, and the answer somehow included telling me the history of the owner attending pastry school, a list of their locations and hours, and a tour of everything they carry. I was just looking to get in and out, and apparently this is not the place for that. I am used to big city bakeries, and I would say this is a small town bakery. I'm sure it's fine if you have time to kill, but I wasn't looking for that. I decided on a dark chocolate croissant. It was $6. The small part that had chocolate in it was WONDERFUL, but it was just about a dollar coin size of chocolate in a large croissant, so it was almost entirely just a plain croissant. For $6. I wanted to like this place, especially since there don't seem to be other bakeries in the area, but I likely will not be back.

On my first visit, I bought a very large selection and was surprised with the ones I liked best. Everything is subjective, but I would try anything with fruit and/or chocolate. That said, I did like that plain looking cookie a lot! :-) The chocolate donut was too dense for my wife (she likes them light), but I liked it a lot. The lemon bar was unexpectedly good. The pumpkin bar was good, too. Hmmm... I need another visit! PROS * Relatively healthy * Avoids many common allergens * Great selection * Nice, soft texture CONS * A bit pricey (you get what you pay for) * No location out west (Wauwatosa or Brookfield would be nice!) * You won't know which items you like best until you buy a good selection Enjoy!

Stopped in a few weeks ago and got a donut, cinnamon roll, snickerdoodle cookie, and whoopie pie…read more Paid around $20-25 and walked out with a decent amount of speciality sweets. Loved the cinnamon roll and amazed it is free of all the common allergens besides nuts. Would definitely buy again. Snickerdoodle cookie was quite good, nice flavor and crispy. I didn't care for the donut, I forget the flavor but the texture was a bit mushy and I prefer more of the light airy fried donuts. If you like cake donuts that tend to be a bit heavier you'd probably like them. I also didn't love the whoopie pie. I believe I got a cherry chocolate one and the texture was nice but not sweet enough for my liking. Will definitely return to try other things and am grateful for a bakery where I can get dairy free/gluten free items.

Otherwise, every single treat was absolutely delicious. I was seriously wowed. The owner (? I think) named everything I pointed to before giving them to me, but I don't remember all the names. I have to go by what they look like. (Please post bakery item names along with the price!) (Oh and sorry for the bad picture - he looks mad in the picture, but he was actually just really nice and smiling most of the time. I didn't realize until way later that he looks mad in the picture lol) The big puffy cinnamon sugary puff - totally the best thing I had here. Super soft inside and kinda crusty outside, perfectly sweet but not too much. The little mini chocolate croissant lookalike but denser looking things - good, but not necessarily what I'd come back here for. Blueberry scone textured rectangular thing - not airy, but dense, packed with flavor, very filling and delicious.

The people behind the counter are hard-working and friendly, and happy to go through what's on the shelves. My brother loved his hot cocoa with their homemade marshmallow fluff! Only comment I can make is it would be nice if the pastries were labeled as well as show the price, but this isn't stopping me from coming back! The prices are reasonable. Accessibility: It isn't wheelchair accessible (a couple steps to get into the bakery), though it is spacious when you get in. For those who are hearing impaired, I didn't have a problem. Parking: free on-street

This is one of (if not THE) best gluten-free bakery in Milwaukee. I've only ever done the pick up orders but I believe they do walk ins on Saturdays. Pick up orders are super easy. Menu comes out early in the week. You fill in a Google form with what you would like as well as your preferred Friday or Saturday pick up time and send it through. You pay online a few days later and then do your pick up. The menu changes every week so there are always new things to try. I've had the popovers, cookies, bread, calzones, pies, soups, and everything is gluten-free and everything is amazing! I also love that MOR partners with other local business like Anodyne and Tots on the Street. So great to see the awesome partnership. I'm back almost weekly and will continue!

I mean what kid wouldn't be excited for that? So many freshly-made options to choose from, and this one was a winner. Definitely a very sweet-treat, and worth splitting a handful of ways, but boy was it tasty! I also grabbed a latte for myself, which I always enjoy here. I will say however, I wish they had other milk options beyond oat and whole milk. I say this with no means to complain, but both of those milk are very 'heavy' so whenever something like skim or almond is available, that's a personal preference for sure. Love the community feel here, love the goodies, will return.

They had a variety of baked goods to choose from- we opted for the cinnamon roll and the seasonal danish. We also ordered a cappuccino and an americano. The baked goods we had were okay. We were disappointed they wouldn't heat up the cinnamon roll, the reason they gave us was because the frosting would run and be messy. So the cinnamon roll wasn't very enjoyable. I liked the filling on the seasonal danish but I asked for it heated up and it was served at room temp. The coffee was good- we both thought it was weak for our liking but it had good flavor. Also to note, this place is very family-friendly. When we were in, there were a lot of children and families enjoying the space. I would love to come back and try the monkey bread; they were sold out when we arrived this morning and we were told it's a top-seller.
