Review Visit: October 22nd, 2014…read more Free ice cream! Jason's Deli is one of those rare cases where I don't remember much about it. It does happen once in a blue moon but Jason's Deli does have an interesting point to talk about. What I do remember about Jason's Deli is the free ice cream machine. Once you have paid for your food and are seated, you have unlimited access to the ice cream machine. From what I do remember, there is the two basic flavors: chocolate and vanilla. There is, of course, the mixed option in the middle. That's my go-to option whenever I encounter these machines. It's nice to have something so awesome be free for once at a restaurant. Check out their menu to see if Jason's Deli is something you would be interested in. If so, go there and have yourself some new memories and free ice cream.

First time visiting Scramblers, Bloomington Illinois so took suggestions from our server, Juan. I…read moreordered the Scramblers Frittata with their signature house-made breakfast sausage cooked in a classic frittata with spinach, bell peppers, sliced red onion. Topped with diced tomatoes, chives, goat cheese and a drizzle of garden verde crema sauce, which was delicious! Fruit cup with yummy seasonal fruit and sourdough toast made for a terrific breakfast. My companion opted for Breakfast Tacos with chorizo that had a perfect balance of spice and paired perfectly with the other ingredients in the breakfast tacos. Fried potatoes made a great side dish. The dining room is nice with a clean, modern atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The service was terrific. Would definitely recommend Scramblers for dine in or carry out! We are going to be coming back soon to try other breakfast and lunch specialities!

Given it was a graduation weekend for a local college, we were seated very fast - which we appreciated immensely. I ordered The Mini Classic. My choice was as eggs scrambled with cheese, turkey sausage patty, pancakes and a side of grits with cheese. The pancakes were my favorite. I wasn't a fan of the grits or the sausage patty. Some of my party had other items they really enjoyed though. I think it's a great option for quick, attentive service and a diverse menu.

Everyone loved their food and everything had great flavor. My only complaint would be the lack of protein. Both pastas with shrimp each had three shrimps. Review Visit: May 18th, 2012…read more Noodles & Good Company. On our way to Bloomington for a concert, my dad, Matt and I needed some food. We wanted to make sure we had enough food in us before we rocked out to some music for a few hours. I didn't have a particular place in mind but I did ask if anyone wanted to try a place on my list of places... to try. Somehow we ended up picking Noodles & Company. Noodles & Company is one of those places that I had seen a ton of advertisements for, but never had the chance to visit due to none being in my town. I had no idea what to expect and was slightly disappointed with the menu offerings. Nothing really sounded appealing on the menu. I can usually find something worth wanting to order but not at this particular time. Maybe it was my mood, my appetite, or some other cosmic forces at work but nothing sounded good except for a meatball sub, which I am indifferent on. The three of us placed our orders, sat down, and waited. It didn't take long before we had our food. My dad and Matt ordered a soup of some sorts. I looked at my meatball sub and thought that it just didn't look appealing. But, not one to let my apprehension get in the way of eating perfectly okay food, I dug in. It... wasn't bad. For not expecting much, the sandwich was pretty decent. After a few bites, my appetite worked it's way over to accepting what I was eating and was okay with it. As I finished, I asked how my dad and Matt were enjoying their meals. I got a very 'eh' response from both of them. I would be willing to try Noodles & Company again should I be with someone who wants to go. They do have a good-sized menu with plenty of stuff to pick from, it's just not a place that I find on my radar. Go there yourself and see if its a place that your appetite finds more appealing.
