I bought the cocktail shrimp ($12 for half a pound) and was shocked. The shrimp had a greenish discoloration on the sides, was extremely stringy, and had an off smell. It did NOT look or taste fresh and honestly raised serious concerns about quality and storage. When bringing it to the attention of the cashier she replied "Ella no quiere". Bringing it to another person attention "what happened" Ella no quiere again. It's not that I don't want it. It was disgusting they were selling green shrimp. The gentleman at the counter was very sweet, but even if he gave me a fresh one, it would've been from the same green, stringy batch regardless. They should absolutely not be serving this especially on the Fourth of July. I also tried the lobster salad ($22 for a small half pound), which was basically mayonnaise with corn and celery and only a few tiny pieces of lobster. nowhere near worth the price. The chicken salad ($12.99) was even worse. It was oily, unappetizing, and looked like it had been sitting out for a long time. Easily the worst chicken salad I've ever had. Look at that oil! Overall, everything I purchased felt low quality and questionable in freshness. I was genuinely disgusted and surprised a place like this would sell products in this condition.
