I've been a fan of NYBS's restaurant since they opened, and my husband and I would visit at least…read moreonce a month for dinner.  Unfortunately, after a few recent bad experiences, we won't be returning.   My biggest issues recently have been - * Excessive salt on the Salmon BLT sandwich and meatballs - formerly, two of our favorite dishes * Smoked salmon fonduta - heating smoked salmon made this a fishy, unpalatable appetizer * Hamburger overcooked and dry, even with the added (very thinly sliced) cheddar cheese * Soggy fries * Crabcake aioli too sweet * Not enough servers to handle the demand in the restaurant, and we've noticed some turnover, too   I appreciate that NYBS offers reasonably priced specials and beverages, but their food quality has declined significantly since we first started eating there.  The only things we still enjoy are the steak flight, wings, and gouda and bacon macaroni and cheese.  It pains me to say this, but we are done. The decline in food quality and inattentive service have removed this restaurant from our rotation.

Fresh Chef used to be my safe haven when it came to Cornelius dining. I've been coming here since 2015, and used to be obsessed with the kale. Unfortunately, that obsession has come to an end. The kale salad at this location has become a complete mess, with absolutely no consistency. One day it's basically unseasoned kale, the next it tastes like straight lemon, and another day it might be swimming in oil. 131 main and other fresh chef locations are still able to make the kale they way it's supposed to be made so I know you guys have it in you to do it right. Please dig deep and bring back the kale you were at one point known for.
