Spike's Delight on an everything bagel
    Bret H.

Even the cashier with a bad attitude couldn't stop this from being a an awesome dining experience. I had never had a steamed bagel sandwich before and it just works. Sloppy, gooey, and comfort food to the extreme. I highly recommend going here and trying one.

Visited the newer Sully's sandwich shop this was my first time hearing about the chain but it seems they are a southern staple. The sandwiches are made on a steamed bagel but delicious. I tried two, with some modifications. I got Nacho maximus and the Free bird. Both flavorful sandwiches, satisfyingly messy, but the Nacho Maximus was a bit better. Hoping it remains clean and the food consistency promising because I want to try the breakfast sandwiches one day! If you go enjoy!

Had a late lunch at Sully's steamers in Davidson. Just felt like a bagel sandwich and it was already after two, which is when most bagel shops close but not this one. This bagel shop steams their bagels so that they're not terribly hard and crunchy, which is difficult when eating a sandwich. (my opinion.) The very pleasant and friendly associate, Morgan, waited on me and fully explained the process . I ordered the original Italian on an asiago bagel. Their takeout bags say " I'm a hot mess" and it's true but so yummy. I especially enjoyed the Parmesan peppercorn dressing. Make sure you visit Sully's Steamers at 721 Jetton St. It's right on the corner of one of the roundabouts off exit 30. They have an outside seating area with yellow umbrellas. Right next to Davidson Day school. Worth the trip.

Turkey Sandwich. Yes, there is turkey in there.
    Dan M.

Well, this is an easy one. The sandwiches are steamed, never toasted--and always on a bagel. You can choose the type of bagel. My turkey sandwich was awesome! The only negatives are price and time. Perhaps the price is due to inflation and covering costs, but it's still expensive. Since it's steamed, the wait is also about 8-10 minutes. If you have ever been to Firehouse Subs, the wait time is similar. Yea, Sully's Steamers is worth the wait. And if you pass by this joint, please know that it's not a vacuum cleaner store or seafood. I can guarantee you that many people have thought one or the other. If they were stoned, maybe both. Service is friendly. Definitely recommended but only a once-in-a-while place if you're on a budget. Otherwise, full steam ahead! Sorry.

Bagels are soft and supple - and mostly gluten free!! I always get the neighborino and it's always good, whether it is takeout or eat-in. Service is always good, it is a very family friendly place.

Ever think I want a sandwich that's just a little different? Put it on your choice of bagel and now you have something different. Take some great combinations of meat and cheese or traditional breakfast and put it on a bagel such as Asiago cheese or everything. The sandwiches are steamed which keeps the bagel firm but it can still hold up to the meat, cheese, and sauces. Come in, order at the counter, and grab a seat. They'll bring out your sandwich in about 5-10 minutes even on a busy Sunday afternoon. Seating could be a bit challenging at peak times when it's hot or cold outside. There's plenty of parking behind the building plus on street parking. Stop by for a quick and filling meal!

Pretty good bagel sandwich shop. There were quite a few that looked interesting, we had trouble choosing. I had the nacho Maximus with no lettuce or mustard. It had good flavor. They also gave me the part of the the Doritos bag they didn't use to make my sandwich. Husband said his was pretty good and kiddo liked the pb&j.

    El Camino

This was my first visit to this location. I ordered the El Camino, and the bagel was warm and soft. The service was fast, making it a convenient stop for a quick and tasty meal. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area.

Breakfast Bagel, with bacon, egg, and American cheese - look at that chewy goodness!
    Andi M.

After missing the steamed bagels from Owens Bagels (closed since 2019), my husband and I were excited to try a similar concept at Sully's Steamers. We went for breakfast one weekday morning and split two bagels--a Breakfast Bagel with bacon, egg, and American cheese on a jalapeño cheddar bagel, and an everything bagel with plain cream cheese. We also tried their locally roasted coffee. The bagels arrived steaming hot--almost too hot to hold at first! We loved the warm, chewy texture of the bagels. Both tasted great, although the cream cheese bagel could have had more cream cheese (IMO). The jalapeño cheddar bagel was a good call for the Breakfast Bagel--the cheesy bagel added great flavor, and the jalapeño wasn't too hot. I would have preferred the egg being fried rather than microwaved, however. The coffee was flavorful and strong. We really enjoyed our meal. And there are so many bagels to choose from, we can't wait to try more of them!

A great place people and food

We are living in a very competitive society. Let's face it most people can cook but not everyone has great service. I really felt welcomed. The atmosphere is amazing minimum noise. Perfect place to relax after hard day work, writing, reading or just chilling. Moreover the food is really good! Freshly baked bagels. Butcher chopped meat. I recommend this establishment.

Fresh Egg - Where Diets Go to Die (Happily)…read more Our group of 4 1/2 (yes, somebody only ate half their plate because self-control showed up late ) walked into Fresh Egg thinking we were just grabbing breakfast... and walked out needing a nap and a moment of silence. Let's talk FOOD. That omelet? Fluffy like it trained at egg boot camp. Stuffed with sausage, ham, bacon, cheese basically the Avengers of breakfast. The home fries were crispy golden cubes of perfection. Not soggy. Not greasy. Just straight-up breakfast excellence. The ham slices were thick and flavorful like they meant business. That biscuit sandwich? Soft, buttery, and holding everything together like a breakfast superhero. And those cheesy grits? Creamy enough to make you emotional. Add melted cheddar and it's basically Southern comfort in a bowl. Portions? Generous. Flavor? Elite. Coffee? Flowing like we were at a caffeine convention. Now let's talk about Jonathan Jonathan delivered AMAZING service. Attentive without hovering, friendly without being forced, and on top of everything like a breakfast conductor running a delicious orchestra. Drinks stayed filled, food came out hot, and he made sure our whole crew felt taken care of. That kind of service turns a good meal into a great experience. The vibe inside? Busy, lively, happy breakfast energy everywhere. You can tell this is a spot people return to again and again. Final verdict: We came hungry. We left full. We left smiling. And yes... we'll be back. This spot delivers exactly what it promises, making it a reliable choice for the area. To start, the coffee was great--hot, fresh, and strong. For my main dish, I opted for a Western omelette. It was perfectly fine, a solid choice, if not spectacular. My husband had the egg, bacon, cheese breakfast sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. The only reason I'm docking a star is for the side of corn muffins I ordered. They were, unfortunately, a complete letdown. They were hard, dry, and truly tasted like small stones. Even piling on the soft, fresh butter couldn't save them. However, the excellent service and the positive experience with the main dishes and coffee easily outweigh one bad side item. We had a good meal overall, and I would definitely go back again (and just skip the corn muffins next time!).

Perfect fry, thick and flaky fish, served with a side of malt vinegar and tartar sauce. The slaw was crisp and savory and the fries crisp. He loved every bite. I had the Bangers and Mash. The sausage was tender with a delicious onion gravy. Some veggies were included (green beans, cauliflower and carrot). The mash itself was creamy and chunky, just the way I love it. Complete comfort food. We ended the meal by splitting a dish of Sticky Toffee Pudding. It was sweet and savoury, with a hint of salt to balance, topped with vanilla ice cream and more toffee sauce. (I haven't had a Sticky Toffee Pudding since I was a child and this was such a delicious treat to share.) The whole experience was exceptional and we cannot wait to go back.

Our waiter was very patient, friendly and explained the specials and menu items in detail. He made the dining a positive experience for sure! Potato bites were good. Whatever the shmear underneath was it could use some more of that! Bangers and mash were meh. Bland mash, overcooked bangers and not enough gravy. I was provided some extra gravy though. Fish and Chips were a big hit! Perfect cook and the batter was light, crisp and stuck to the fish well! Tartar was great. Slaw was on the boring side but unnecessary in the end. Everyone was friendly, a band was playing, the lights were dim, drinks were cold and the fish is good. If you live in the area I highly recommend checking it out!

While Crazy Pig is a bit smaller inside than The Egg's original location, I think it's cozier--and nicer! They play great music in the mornings, too. My husband and I heard Sinatra on a recent visit. We usually get the same things every time. I like their Mixed Grill omelet, filled with chopped ham, bacon, sausage, and cheese. There are many great options to choose from especially if you want to go the healthy route. There are pancakes, waffles, etc on the menu too. The portions are good since you get sides depending on your meal choice. The place has a nice farmhouse cafe vibe with wood tables and spacing is good. Now the bad: There were mugs already on the table which I do not care for, because I'm not sure they take them away for each table. I wanted hot tea, but when I looked in, it was dirty. The other mug was clean so that was the one I used. I got my hot water, tea bags, cream and honey packets to make my tea, but I don't get a spoon. I'm not sure why they don't give teaspoons, but when I asked for a spoon, I got a large soup spoon. Not sure about this. We placed our orders and everything came out fine, except when I started eating my bowl of fruit side, all the grapes were brown on top. Seems like something noticeable that is not as fresh to serve to a customer. Disappointed with this too. Another thing to mention, we had to ask for water refills. Then when someone brought over a refill they brought a carafe. Why not start out with the carafe? Server waits until end of meal to bring it, then brings another glass afterwards with water too. A lot of these issues seem to be training and management of the restaurant. I have been to other locations with better service. So, overall, food was good. I got the frittata and my daughter got the braised beef breakfast tacos. But, if there weren't so many silly issues, I think I could rate this location higher. 3 stars
