Nice drink. My strawberry smoothie was delicious (there were other stuff too) and the cheese quesadilla was good. Service was fine. 5 stars

Good flatbread and great smoothies. Fast service and kind people who work here. Probably hectic weekdays during school.

My husband had essentially the BLT plus avocado and turkey and I think that was even better. Could do with some fries instead of chips though . Coconut cake was also delicious! Next time I'll have to try the pulled pork sandwich. I only wish they were open later. I can totally see myself enjoying a cozy soup and hot sandwich on a brisk fall evening with some live music under their string lights.

Merritt's is a place on my list (and my mother's) for a while, and now we have a chance to visit. We made small talk with the staff. They were thrilled to learn my mother bookmarked this place when she worked at UNC Hospitals some years ago. The staff treated us well. They call out orders by name, so listen closely for your name. It was too hot to eat outside, though I imagine their bamboo patio out back will be delightful to sit at in the cooler months. The inside tables along the window have a view out to the street. There's a display case featuring fresh made desserts and other sweets worth checking out. I loved the fresh tomato, lettuce, and crispy bacon on this sandwich. I'd enjoy coming back, though I think I'll take my sandwich home next time. BLTs are the specialty here, and they do a great job making them.

I have to say I love this place! I've been coming here since 2009, and never had a bad meal. After…read morethe fire, I suffered. No other place comes close. I'm so glad they're back ! Maybe it's the condiment bar, or the deli case, or maybe it's just the way they manage the restaurant, but you can get what you want. I've been eating more vegetarian lately and decided on a build-your-own felafel sandwich, which i got in a tortilla wrap (easier to eat than a pita), with hummus and sauteed eggplant, a variety of up to 2 free add-ins included (see menu). It arrived quickly, was hot and fresh, and came with chopped lettuce and tomato in the wrap. I ate it with lots of chopped parsley and red onion condiment and green hot sauce. So darn good! I'll be back again and again!

Food is then dropped off at your table. You bus the table yourself. They want a minimum 20 percent tip. That is becoming irritating when you get no service. To the food:chicken kebabs were a bit undercooked but I had picked two delicious sides, including tabouleh. Sides were sensational. My partner also loved the sides and the pita bread. The biggest disappointment? Baklava. It was old and not freshly cooked. So no flakiness.

Ever buy a beer at Whole Foods that was so good you had to find the brewery? That was me with Haw…read moreRiver Farmhouse Ales' Rustic Saison. A month later, I found myself making the hour-long drive from Cary to Haw River Tap & Table--and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. As a farmhouse ale and saison enthusiast, this place felt like my happy place. We kicked things off with a flight featuring Beneath the Feet of Orion, We're All Quite Happy Right Here, Thank You (seriously... who comes up with these wonderfully ridiculous names? ), The Seven Faces of Pepe Grano, and Mille Fleur. Every beer was thoughtfully crafted and distinct, but We're All Quite Happy Right Here, Thank You completely stole the show. A bee pollen saison sounds unconventional, yet it was beautifully balanced, floral, refreshing, and unlike anything I've had before. The food easily kept pace with the beer. The Southern Cheese Slaw & Crackers disappeared embarrassingly fast, and the Carolina Egg Rolls were huge, crispy, and packed with flavor--perfect companions to the farmhouse ales. Of course, one flight wasn't enough. Round two included Crimson Velvet, Carolina Tapestry, Toasted Coconut Scribbler's Son, and Cultural Divide: Muscadine Rosemary. Each pour showcased the brewery's creativity without feeling gimmicky. Whether it was the rich toasted coconut lager, the juniper-forward sahti, or the tart muscadine rosemary sour, there was something memorable in every glass. If you appreciate breweries that aren't chasing the latest hazy IPA trend and instead focus on expertly crafted saisons, farmhouse ales, and unique traditional styles, Haw River Tap & Table is absolutely worth the trip. The quality, creativity, welcoming atmosphere, and excellent food made for an outstanding afternoon. I came because of one bottle from Whole Foods. I left already planning my next visit. Cheers!

It was a very casual set up, you order at the counter, take a plaque with a number, and they bring your food out when ready. Still riding the high from May's National Burger month, I decided to give their smash burger a try. Their smash burgers by default are only 3oz, but for +$4 you can get a second, and I'm assuming a third or fourth if you keep paying the additional fee. I also got a side of potato wedges, and the Shortstraw IPA (brewed with fresh pine needles!!!). They had a good variety of beers, so it was hard to pick. The Shortstraw IPA was an awesome starter. I wasn't sure at first, but the cashier gave me a taste, and it was really flavorful and unique. The food didn't take too long to come out, and everything tasted great. The burger was cooked perfected with some tasty seasonings on it, the fries were also cooked to perfection with a slight crunch on the outside, and soft on the inside. This was a great visit, and somewhere I'll certainly return to next time I'm in the area for a show. Friendly service, tasty food, and unique/delicious beer!
