Oh my!!! I am so happy a friend told me about this place. When I am in the mood for a really tasty smoothie I come here. It's located in a very popular place with limited parking so beware. Although parking can be a nightmare it's worth it! They sell smoothies, smoothie bowls and toast. They used quality ingredients and the staff is so sweet! The inside is cute and vibrant and makes you smile.

Jamba has boba now! TRY IT! It's so good! Got strawberry boba perls today with White Gummi smoothie and whey protein, it was sooo good. Replaced my lunch! Boba perls are small and pop in your mouth, very nice strawberry bursts of flavor. Portion is very generous, to the point that smoothie didn't fit the cup and they gave me excess in a small cup, quite nice of them. Boba is an extra dollar to add but I think it's worth it, and you get double points until the end of October.

I tried the plant based mango and at first I was like no, but after continuing to drink it was ok.

First off the Ambiance of the Location was very cute. And the staff That was present was very helpful and knowledgeable about what he was serving. I definitely was taking out of my comfort zone and I love everything about it. The food was great and hot and our smoothies were amazing as well. Thank you Mitri for our first time experiencing Jamba Juice and now will definitely be a weekly routine to stop by.

Tomato and egg - I can't remember the actual name. It was good

We are all entitled to our own opinions, right? Well here's mine: Parking: 4 Location: 5 Decor/ambiance: 5 Customer Service: 5 I must say i'm so excited to see a Jamba Juice in Durham!!! I had the chance to experience and Acai Bowl from a Jamba in Cali and LOVED it!!! As soon as I came back to NC i was searching for a Jamba and there wasn't one... until NOW! I stopped by on this past Saturday and grabbed a midday snack. There is street parking available and some parking across the street. The location is cool as it sits off of a busy main street. The establishment is fairly new so its really clean in the complex. The decor of the establishment was nice. It was actually better than the one i had went to in LA. I was greeted by a young lady who was helpful. I ended up grabbing a Acai Bowl and an egg sandwich. Jamba is pricey but it could be worst. The bowl was about $8 and the sandwich was $4. That same bowl in LA costed me about $10 so no complaints. The taste was great and I am thrilled to have a Jamba in the area. The work space behind the counter could have used some cleaning but nothing over the top to make me run out lol. There are local owners and they have an amazing story to tell. Check out Jamba Juice Durham!

Employees feet on the counters. Not super sanitary.

Been going here for a while and the service gets worse and worse each time. Today an employee had her feet on the counter and couldn't be bothered to put down her phone while taking my order. Not a great look. Phone usage is it's own thing but feet on the counters is gross.

Always great customer service and super fast with my online orders! I love coming here!

Orange dream machine & greens and ginger smoothies

I know this is part of a chain (I believe from the west coast) but I found their selection and prices to be better than a lot of local "healthy" and organic juice places. You can get a small smoothie for $5-$6; I've seen other places charge twice that much. They also seem to have a very good selection of dairy and nondairy smoothies. We stopped in on a day they were donating part of the proceeds to charity, so bonus points for community involvement. Staff was also polite and positive.

It's been a while since I had a l. Jamba Juice. I came on a weekday at at 3pm. There is plenty of free parking on the streets. I ordered a small Mango-A-Go-Go. It was refreshing and just what I needed on a hot afternoon! It was great getting to see them put actual fruits (frozen and fresh) rather than powder. I didn't get the name of the cashier, but she was super friendly.

Açai bowl

I've had this place many times in both California New York and North Carolina. I tend to always get the açai bowl. This time Jamba came up on my local lunch delivery and I ordered an açai bowl to go. My only complaint would be that the bowl was melted when I received it. They always give a very generous portion of granola and always taste great. They do use soy milk but you can also sub it with almond milk. This is a chain but also a great quick and easy lunch spot.

Ask the Community - Jamba

Is there a garage customers can park in, or is it only street parking?

There's a small lot across the street and usually street parking as well.

I'm telling you, perfect blend! The ingredients were fresh and of great quality. The presentation was also beautiful! On top of that, the bowls were a great size! My mom couldn't finish hers and I forced myself to because it was that good! The juice shots were tasty and strong, and I loved the sustainability aspect of them being served in little glass jars. They focus on organic and gluten free ingredients, and the staff offered to use a special rinse on everything because I have a cashew allergy. The service really was great! Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful with their suggestions all around! I looked up reviews prior to visiting and noticed complaints about sweetness. I think it's important to note they're not using artificial sweeteners or sugars. The bowls are sweet, but naturally sweetened. It doesn't feel overdone which I enjoy! I also think the price point was great. I live on the West Coast and typically spend $11-$15 dollars on a much smaller sized bowl! Definitely recommend this spot and was very happy with our experience!

It's a cute little place, with a minimal amount of seating downstairs, but there is more upstairs. I got the turkey ham sandwich with "special sauce". Husband got the roast beef one with chipotle mayo. They were both delicious, although we couldn't tell a difference in the dipping mayos. Love that they are avocado oil based ones, and meats are nitrate-free. Bread is gluten-free. Husband got a cold coffee shake that he really liked as well. It's not inexpensive, but worth it for the quality ingredients. Service did take awhile, but the Gal was super friendly. If you're in a hurry, I would recommend ordering in advance.

We ordered the following: Acai and Coconut base w/ Pura Vida topping (granola, blueberry, strawberry, and honey) Pitaya and Coconut base w/ (I forgot the name of the topping but it had banana, mango, granola, blueberry, and coconut flakes) Both bowls were very refreshing and I appreciate how they stuff the bowl to the brim with the base and toppings. My personal favorite was the coconut but honestly, everything was delicious. I also love how they sprinkle some granola on the bottom of the bowl and it maintains its crunchy texture even if it sits under the base for a while. Playa Bowls are definitely not cheap but if you sign up for their membership (just via phone number), you can collect points and/or receive discounts. Aside from the delicious treats, the staff members were friendly and were very quick!

The strawberries and cream was super delicious and hit my craving just right. The bang bang shrimp tacos had a kick with the sauce, but incorporating pineapple was what gave this a 10/10 for me. It had a sweet and spicy flavor to it, which balanced these tacos to perfection with each bite. The employees behind the counter were extremely friendly. Oh yeah? Then why was your open sign in the window still on, why were you just in the process of packing away the toppings? And, why were the doors still unlocked? You don't sell anything else so there is no reason for anyone to come into the store unless they were getting frozen yogurt. I had to listen to the lame excuse that the doors can only be locked from the outside so you could not have locked them. Seriously? I feel sorry for people working there as that is no doubt a security risk. I probably wouldn't be happy if you had told me five minutes before closing that you had already shut everything off, but I would have been more understanding than being lied to. That's not OK. Good thing, there's a brand new ice cream/yogurt place, just a few miles down the road, locally owned and operated, not a chain and open until 10 PM!
