Because Whole Foods doesn't allow dogs inside, I had no choice but to remain outside while trying to figure out what happened. I was left stranded, with my wallet inside my car, and had to pay for an Uber and $230 in towing fees--meaning I had to prioritize retrieving my car instead of buying groceries. What's most frustrating is that Whole Foods positions itself as a premium, customer-focused store, yet the parking situation does not reflect that at all. There is a clear lack of coordination between the store, security, and whoever is enforcing towing in the lot. This experience was stressful, avoidable, and completely unacceptable. It felt less like customer support and more like a system that allows predatory practices to happen right outside the store. Please be mindful where you park; be sure to travel with soenone! This is basic infection control in any environment, but it should be non-negotiable in a hospital. I hope this feedback leads to immediate improvements for the safety of customers and patients alike.
