When I asked when I could be scheduled she told me that she couldn't give me a date and it would be at least another two weeks. Very poor experience. Overall we've had a great relationship with this local, family-owned business. In general the pool looks fabulous when they are done cleaning it. More than a few times it has been jaw-dropping sparkling clean. Jan is always responsive to our phone calls with questions and issues. They've responded quickly to a few emergency needs. According to the invoice, the remaining labor balance was not due until the installation was completed. After taking my money, the owner, Genaro Cruz, repeatedly told me through text messages that he had my pool and that he would be coming to install it. Over the following months, I received numerous promises with scheduled installation dates, but each time he either failed to show up or canceled at the last minute. Eventually, he stopped responding to my calls and text messages altogether. As of today, nearly a year later: No pool has been delivered. No installation has been completed. No refund has been provided. I have kept the invoice, proof of payment, and extensive text message history documenting the repeated promises and missed appointments. I gave this company every opportunity to make things right before posting this review, but after months of excuses and being completely ignored, I feel other homeowners should be aware of my experience. I am now pursuing legal remedies to recover my money. If you are considering hiring Happy Pools and Spa, I encourage you to do your own research and proceed with extreme caution.
