And there was a couple shopping at the same time and I overheard the other sales lady tell them the couch they were interested in wasn't in stock either. They left. We did too. Sales lady calls back to check stock on a couch... Literally within 3 seconds someone calls her back on the radio and says we don't have it. Sounds like that's just their operating system. "We just sold our last one of those couches".... Then shouldn't it already be on its way back in?!?

Well, that's great for the store but why not order MORE of your best selling item so you can sell MORE of it and keep your customers happy instead of sending them out empty handed and on their way to another furniture store.

George is very "old school", which has its pros and cons. He only accepts traditional forms pf payments but also has the old school mantra of prioritizing customer satisfaction over profit.
