I had a truely great experience buying a Bulldrog Spa from A-1. From the sales ladies (Katherine & Jennifer) who were very professional and informative to the installers Cory,Brad,Turner and Jeremy who delivered the spa through a narrow passage way. And to Jose who knew everything about how to dial in the water perfectly. After getting the heat up I found that there was a leak! I called the next day and their service department sent Jeremy out who found a bad pump. He tried to replace an impeller but didn't have the right part, so he went back to the shop and took a pump out of a new spa in their inventory. He spent most of the day replacing the pump in sweltering heat and got my new spa running perfectly. I was amazed that I didn't have to wait 2 weeks for a new pump. I had to purchase a pump for my pool. I went in and had Jenny go over options. When I had questions that she was uncertain to actual answers, right there she called their tech support Zach (Zac?) for answers. I had a great conversation with him. He answered my questions and gave me great suggestions. So, I purchased a pump from A1 pools. Now, to add to the story, where I had to place the pump was a farther away than the cord could reach. Zach gave me suggestions on what to do. I took the casing off and discovered that the pump had broken parts from the factory (the box it came in was in perfect shape). I brought the pump back to the store, they looked at it, and without ANY questions, they replaced it with a different one in stock. This was perfect, AND the pump WAS perfectly suited for my pool. Just want to say thank you to Dale our salesperson and Cory our set-up delivery man what a professional and straight forward team. We had a great experience from our initial inquiry all the way to deliver. We never felt pressured and they have gone out of there way to make sure that we are completely satisfied. After our initial set up I was a bit confused by how to get my ph balanced so A1 tested my water and told me exactly how to fix it then called me a few days later just to make sure I got it right. They have a small business feel with big business level of service which I love. If you are considering a spa really do yourself a favor and check out Bullfrog, I had never heard of them until I checked out A1 and I cannot believe the energy savings on top of the unique jet pack system. We had been doing business with A-1 Pools for 7 years while we lived in West Bend. We moved and were gone for 2.5 years. We moved back and when we purchased our home along with it came a 20X40 in ground pool. It required a new solar cover, winter cover, solar panels and a lot of water testing. I love A-1 Pools, mostly for the staff. This year has been my first year with a pool, and it's been extremely hard. Several instances of chlorine demand, crazy high phosphates, all kinds of issues. I would never do business with this company ever again. After doing business with this company for over 2 years ! The customer service is terrible, and I would not expect to be talked down to from the owner as well. After asking them to right their wrong and fix the problem, I was sent a lengthy email explaining why this was our problem, after just spending hundreds of dollars for this service, they were unwilling to work with us AT ALL! The service and information has been inconsistent with problems we were having with our pool, one person would suggest one thing and the next time I'd go in they would suggest something totally different and make you feel incompetent that you didn't understand it.
