X Salada burger: beef patty, fried egg, cheddar cheese, lettuce, green sauce. (Menu also says "hearts of palm" but I didn't get any.)
    Chris M.

I got the X Salada burger and a strawberry-banana smoothie. Service was pretty fast (took 10 minutes to cook) and the food is good. It's a small place: limited parking behind the restaurant and limited seating inside. But it was fairly quiet at 4 PM, and I also saw some covered outdoor seating. My one complaint is that the burgers on the menu don't match what you actually get. The burger photos don't correspond with menu items (are they stock photos?), showing toppings that this restaurant doesn't serve. And when I got my X Salada burger home, I realized it didn't have hearts of palm on it, which the menu explicitly lists as a topping. So I'm disappointed about that. It still tastes good, but I feel like I overpaid for what I got. Overall though it's good food, and I'll probably come back again.

Glad I decided to stop by and have an acai bowl for dinner. It was perfect as it wasn't heavy. I decided on the 24oz. The acai was not hard but very smooth and I was very impressed how they gave me honey and additional granola on the side. It made sense to me. Add it as you go or wait till you get to the point where the toppings are almost gone. It blew me away the amount of Brazilians that came into this place. It seems it's a bit of "home" for them. Constantly hearing Portuguese speak is a welcoming sound. Don't bother with the Jamba Juice and come to the real deal.

peaNUTbutter smoothie was amazing. The owner was super friendly and had a great variety of Brazilian food transported here to the northwest. This was my first time having Coxinha and it was good-- especially with the sauce! There is limited room for dining but I will definitely be coming back for the fresh fruit smoothies. Go support a local restaurant people.

This spot has the best açaí bowl! Super fresh fruit is used for the toppings and they don't skimp! The açaí was also extremely smooth! My biggest pet peeve is when there's a big ice piece in the acai and that was not an issue here. The granola also has a nice crispy rice puff grain mixed in which have a nice crisp texture. 4.5/5 rating!

Stopped in with my daughter for a quick smoothie, and we were so impressed! The smoothie was incredibly fresh and delicious. While we were there, we discovered they serve Brazilian food, and we couldn't resist trying the empanadas--they were hands down the best we've ever had! Definitely coming back for more. Highly recommend! Cute little place to stop by and the service was superb!

So delicious!! I love that they added plenty of fresh toppings. Staff were very friendly.

Great açaí place with a better sourced açaí. They also have food and recently added some hand food like cheese balls and coxinha (Brazilian chicken croquettes). This place is the real deal. Owned and operated by Brazilians. If you want the best açaí place fun the region, this is it.

Kind of a strange concoction. It's an acai bowl shop that sells sandwiches and is also some kind of martial arts studio. I have no problem with something being an amalgam of businesses wrapped up into one, but the Acai bowl I got was grainy and sandy. Possibly the worst bowl I've ever had. A friend of mine swore it was the BEST Acai bowl in Seattle, so we had to give it a try. Maybe we got a lemon. But it was not good. I would be willing to give this place another try though, given the rave reviews from Yelp, Google Maps, and my friends. But I can only speak on my experience, and that one experience was bleh.

Customized bowl (strawberry, banana, granola, Nutella)

This place looks very unassuming on the outside, but the açaí bowls are delicious. The granola was layered in the bowl and the toppings were fresh and well balanced. Compared to other bowls I've tried in the area, it is clear that this place uses higher quality ingredients. Definitely worth a visit!

There were few but good reviews for this restaurant so we decided to try it out…read more In addition to their à la carte menu, they also have unlimited rodizio which we didn't get because we had 5 kids under 12 years old (three 5 year olds and two 10 year olds) with us which would've been $17.50 (half adult price) per child. The ambiance was cute. I liked how the walls had a lot of art and it was colorful. I cannot say anything good about our experience. We arrived when the restaurant was mostly empty. Most customers seemed to know the owners and were greeted happily with hugs and kisses. It was very difficult to get service and took about 50-55 min to get our food after ordering with no updates or apologies. We ordered 2 of the moqueca which was similar to an instant Thai yellow curry with about 2 pieces of fish, 2 shrimp, a couple small scallop, and veggies for $30.50 which seemed steep for what we got. It also came with a side of rice. I am not sure if this is an authentic Brazilian dish. We got 2 churrasco especials and they both were well done when we asked for medium rare and very tough to cut. We also got the filet mignon with Madeira sauce and French fries which was definitely not filet mignon. There was a significant amount of tendon and connective tissue and so overcooked the meat was curled up. The last dish we ordered was the garlic aioli shrimp which was just garlic shrimp and not served with any aioli. They actually forgot to make this dish and we got it after we reminded them towards the end of our meal. I think if you get the rodizio it's very fast with the sides from their buffet bar and they come out with the meats fairly quickly. People who had rodizio and arrived after us also left before we were served any food. A lot of common items were sold out like the cheese bread, sparkling water, and beef with caramelized onions but we weren't notified before selecting so had to go through the menu again to pick other dishes. I could've complained but it was hard to get the server's attention or any honest answers. Like "it'll be out soon" and after saying that, he came to confirm what we ordered for the 4th time 40 min after ordering and still no food. It was incredibly hot because it was a sunny day and the front of the restaurant turned into a sauna. We could not wait to leave as soon as possible. Overall, bad service, bad food, high prices, and extremely long wait times without any notice or warning. Will not be going back.

I had high hopes for Obutekim - an a la carte version of Brazilian BBQ, instead of AYCE. We have no self-control, so this is much better for portion control. Service was sufficient, not particularly attentive. They were busy chatting with folks at a table behind us (people they seem to know). We waved for water refills, etc. The food was a mixed bag of hits-and-miss resulting in a grumpy hubby. (We went to Fogo the next weekend to make up for it.) The Food: Beef with Madeira Wine Sauce and French Fries, $27 - 3.5 Stars Menu: Sautéed Filét Mignon with mushrooms, garlic, onions, parsley, creamy roti sauce, flambéed with Madeira wine. Served with French fries. This dish tasted pretty good with the light wine sauce, many mushrooms, and very crispy fries. The beef chunks tasted mostly good with mostly tender pieces. However, my dish (see photo) doesn't look like their online photo, which is a richer variant visually closer to what a beef bourguignon looks like. I think I missed out on whatever this dish is intended to be. Their pieces of beef are randomly cut in different sizes and shape, irregular and random. My mediocre knife skills can cut more uniform pieces of beef than they did. I like this dish enough but also not hitting the bar. Fried Banana Side, $8.50 - 4 Stars Menu: Banana empanada e Frita (Breaded and Fried Bananas) These fried bananas are under the Sides in the menu. We received unbreaded fried plantains, which is fine with us since we like fried plantains. Their online menu says breaded and fried bananas, and the photo is completely different. I don't know what this dish is supposed to be. Brazilian Churrasco, $27 - 2 Stars Menu: Choice of Beef Coulotte, Garlic Sirloin and Pork Sausage. Served with jasmine rice, Brazilian style black beans (containing smoked pork sausage), potato salad, and farofa. Choice of any meat. This dish should be amongst their signature dishes. Hubby chose their two beef options: beef coulotte and garlic sirloin. See photo. The tiny piece is the garlic sirloin, which is garlicky but a bit tough. The two bigger ones are beef coulottes which have little flavor (seasonings), both are tough, with thick trims of fat. He said "2 out of 5 stars" with a grumpy face. I fed him some of my food to make him feel better.

It is like a food court where you grab a plate and serve yourself and then pay by the amount of food you grab. The pricing is very confusing. They have two prices, one for meats and the buffet station and one for just the buffet station. The buffet station was very limited and look very sad. The meats were okay but overall overdone and chewy. They didn't have any traditional sauces you would usually find at a Brazilian restaurant; they only had some salad dressing bottles. There is virtually no service. They don't really speak English. They don't have a menu and everything is self serve. It is pretty cheap if you just go for meats and don't get a drink.

We originally planned to order the Indulgent menu for three to get the lobster tail. Our waiter suggested doing two churrasco dinners plus the seafood tower instead, saying we'd get more seafood for about the same price. I mentioned we also wanted the free dessert that comes with the Indulgent menu, and he reassured us, "I got you on desserts." We appreciated the deal. However, about 20 minutes later, he completely disappeared, likely having clocked out. When we were ready for dessert, we had to flag down another staff member, who said she didn't know who our waiter was or where he went. She initially told us she could only offer one free dessert, which wasn't what we had been promised. Eventually, a manager stepped in and honored it, which we appreciated. Still, it was concerning that no one seemed to know who our server was. If shifts are ending, there should be a proper handoff instead of just leaving tables unattended. Service felt rushed as shifts were ending. When we asked for more cheese, one staff member seemed reluctant, then later dropped off a full plate of something else when I only wanted one piece. She clocked out and left at the same time as us. The ambiance was nice, but I was surprised my clothes smelled afterward. This didn't happen at a way smaller location I've visited. Food was mostly good, with a few misses. No one brought us filet mignon until I specifically requested it near the end. The biggest disappointment was the "seafood tower," which turned out to be more of a basic seafood plate. For $112 (before tax), it was very underwhelming, bland, overcooked, and chewy, with no sauces to complement it. We came for the steaks but ended up spending a good 20-30 minutes on seafood that was completely tasteless. I'd never get seafood here again. This could have been a 5-star experience if not for the service issues and the disappointing seafood.

I've been to other Brazilian steakhouses but this was my first time at Fogo de Chao. We both went with the full Churrasco for the experience. Similar to other reviewers I felt like the meats came around in waves, making for awkward periods of waiting for more food. The ribeye was pretty good but some of the other cuts of meat seemed a bit dry/tough. Whenever they were walking around with more meat it seemed quite chaotic in the restaurant. We were seated in the back by what I assumed was an event space and that area was especially a bit tight and chaotic with employees coming in and out of there. One thing I did really love was the fresh pineapple! The guy carrying that one kept running out so fast. It was delicious and paired very nicely with the steak. It's a great location too, so much to do nearby. They also validate parking which is a plus. Overall, I would say the Churrasco experience is not worth the price. For 2 people we paid close to $200 when it was all said and done. For that price I would rather go somewhere with a more romantic and peaceful ambiance.
