After working an event at UCONN my friends and I decided to stop here the food was good. I enjoyed my quesadilla and my friends enjoyed their burger. I had a peach margarita it was a little too sweet and my friend wasn't the biggest fan of hers. The service was good I believe our waitress's name was Stacy she was great and accommodating!

Status: So the Trophy Room has a limited menu, and being a small hotel restaurant, the server may also be busy tending the bar. If you want all conventional components of a restaurant, drive fifteen to twenty minutes off campus. But if you want a relaxed, no rush meal on campus, Trophy Room is the destination. Experience: Despite being a restaurant of convenience, surprisingly, the signature smash burger and French fries at this site are amongst the best I've had anywhere. (See my first review -- didn't even bother taking a photo!) The contrast between crisp exterior and moist interior is amazing (for both), and there is just the right proportion of cheese, pickles, dressing, and French fries. The culinary technique has been perfected. Accompanying this dish with a Two Roads beer on tap that is custom to UConn (Two Conn) warrants a chef's kiss! Tips: If in the area, please give Trophy Room a try. Parking is free in front of hotel for restaurant visitors.

The decor is, well, a sports pub. Lots of TVs. And during a UConn game, they're all on the game…read more And it turns out the kitchen can churn out great little pub fare. We stopped by recently in the middle of a game and got food quickly. The dry rub wings were recommended for good reason. Excellent. And the buffalo chicken egg rolls are not to be missed as well. Service was friendly and efficient. And prices are in line for the food

THE FOOD My friend and I decided to go here for the $10 beer & burger lunch special advertised every Tuesday-Saturday. I frequently walk past the sign advertising their deal and when my friend said we should grab lunch I immediately suggested this spot for that reason. It was a Wednesday afternoon at 12:30, but unfortunately we were told we could not have the special since they don't do it on game days. The game wasn't until 7pm but it must be an all day game day thing. Disappointing but we moved on. Grilled chicken sandwich -nicely toasted bun, flavorful seasoned chicken, good aioli. If I came back I would eat it again. -fries were pretty good too. -after paying and looking at the receipt I realized I was charged more for the sandwich than what was printed on the menu (didn't say anything to them) Sweet & sour cauliflower -my friend enjoyed it. Said the sauce was good. They were small baby cauliflowers but a decent sized appetizer for one. Not much for a large table to share but fine for ~2 people. She wanted something small for lunch so it worked out well. THE DRINKS -after not being able to do the deal with the beer my friend went with the angry orchard on tap -I got a screwdriver. It was fine, a basic well drink. Didn't taste the vodka really so not sure how much their standard pour is. THE SERVICE -service was polite, attentive -we were the only ones in there for most of our time, so I'd be curious how service is when they get a bit busier. THE ATMOSPHERE -typical bar/restaurant vibe -nice bar, it seems like a cool place to hang out and watch the game Overall it was a nice lunch catching up with my friend and I'm glad I was able to check out the new location. The food and drinks were good--what you'd expect for a typical bar & restaurant and it's a nice, friendly, clean environment. If someone wanted to go back here I would join but it wouldn't be first on my list to recommend in Storrs Center. I ended up spending about $30 on a lunch I was expecting to spent around $13 on, so I'd say check the game day schedule so you aren't disappointed like us. Overall I'd probably rate this closer to 3.5 stars so I rounded up to 4.
