After working an event at UCONN my friends and I decided to stop here the food was good. I enjoyed my quesadilla and my friends enjoyed their burger. I had a peach margarita it was a little too sweet and my friend wasn't the biggest fan of hers. The service was good I believe our waitress's name was Stacy she was great and accommodating!

Lunch was great. Nice spot on campus with great service. Heather was a tremendous waitress she was kind to my kid and the burger and fries were delicious. Great ambiance I'll be back

Status: So the Trophy Room has a limited menu, and being a small hotel restaurant, the server may also be busy tending the bar. If you want all conventional components of a restaurant, drive fifteen to twenty minutes off campus. But if you want a relaxed, no rush meal on campus, Trophy Room is the destination. Experience: Despite being a restaurant of convenience, surprisingly, the signature smash burger and French fries at this site are amongst the best I've had anywhere. (See my first review -- didn't even bother taking a photo!) The contrast between crisp exterior and moist interior is amazing (for both), and there is just the right proportion of cheese, pickles, dressing, and French fries. The culinary technique has been perfected. Accompanying this dish with a Two Roads beer on tap that is custom to UConn (Two Conn) warrants a chef's kiss! Tips: If in the area, please give Trophy Room a try. Parking is free in front of hotel for restaurant visitors.

"Simple" and "no frills" are the words that come to mind when describing this establishment. I've…read morebeen here for both breakfast and dinner. Service was acceptable, but lacking in level of personality or engagement. For me, these characteristics are memorable and would help inspire me to come back. The food was as described on the menu, but equally lacking in pizazz. My Mexican Bowl was lukewarm and my friends' burgers were both well-done, despite only one of them asking for it being this way, and the fries were overcooked. I like crispy, but not to the over-the-top degree to which they were done. Bottom line: Eat here if you are hungry and your needs will be met, but this place could use a lift in sparkle and quality.

During my last visit it was relatively quiet, so I took a seat and went through the menu. My server was very friendly and professional. I took her recommendations and got the churro crepes and peppermint latte. Latte came out quick, same with the crepe. The latte was very sweet, lots of sugar and mint. Coffee flavor was obliterated, and was a bit much for me. Informed my server, offered a drip coffee as a replacement but I opted against. The crepe was going to be a lot of sugar too, so just sent it back. She communicated with her team to watch the syrup pours for future drinks, which is a good proactive move. The churro crepes. Conceptually is a good idea. The cheesecake filling was tasty and a reprieve from the avalanche of caramel syrup and sugar. The churros were warmed up but the server was very honest that they were not made on the spot. Outside of the churro was crunchy and inside was stuffed. The crepe was not warm, so I don't think it was made fresh to order either. When I asked the server, she insisted it was made to order. The price was 21 for the latte and crepe. The price of the crepe was high for the quantity and quality. The latte was reasonable for price, but might want to ask to go light on the syrup. Given the location, it's one of the few breakfast spots around that area. It's not bad, but they do price accordingly for the lack of competition. It's not a trek place, but it's one of the few options around without driving 15 minutes. If you need breakfast in that area, then it works.

We got the pizza flight, and so glad we did! Even though service wasn't great from start to finish, the pizza was delicious! Def will be back to try other menu items. Thus, this wasn't our first time here, but will definitely be our last. Getting a table wasn't a problem, as we were the third table to be seated in an otherwise empty restaurant at about 11:50 AM. Although we had a 5+ minute wait for the waitress to actually acknowledge we were waiting to be seated. After being seated, we watched as the two waitresses took orders, seated new arrivals, made drinks, and delivered food and beverages to all of the tables that came after us. We waited 30 minutes before we were able to get the attention of the waitress who originally sat us to ask if we could have our orders taken or even just some water. She wasn't having any of it and snapped at us that there were only two of them working the whole place and walked away. We waited about 10 more minutes of no service before we left and went to a restaurant that knows how to properly staff on a game day. Bottom line: Not Recommended.
