Fraud, fraud, fraud. Stay away from Trophy Nissan. I had a VERY bad experience with Trophy Nissan. I dropped my SUV off with rear corner small damage including rear light damage. (Picture attached) First, they quoted 6k and the insurance approved. They noticed the insurance is good insurance so they revised the quote to 12k after a few days. I questioned them and tried to move the SUV out to some other place. But the Trophy Nissan guy (Mr. Dustin) wanted to see me and he kept asking me a lot of questions. He said that I need to pay nearly 500 dollars and need to tow the SUV. It was not true, he was telling me a lie. My SUV was perfectly alright and there was no need to tow it at all. Finally, I agreed to go with them. But I did a big mistake and I shouldn't have agreed. I was thinking later on that I should've paid and taken it away from them. They took 52 days to complete my SUV. It was a horrible horrible service. Finally, they invoiced 16k. Wow, from $6000 to $12000 then $16000. For a small corner damage???? Since I am an aviation mechanical company employee and technician, I can easily say that my SUV had a small damage and I can say that it would be less than 5k to repair it. I got the SUV back with very dirty conditions inside & outside and I questioned them and showed them. He said he can take it back and clean it. I told him I don't have time because I have to go to work. Same day the rear bumper reflector light came off on the road and lost it. So you can imagine the quality of work. Wow. LOL... Be careful with Trophy Nissan. They are a big fraud and they are not straight forward guys. Don't go there at all, believe me. My suggestion is to go with a Bodyshop that you or your friends already know. If I can put zero stars, I would put that. Thanks EJ

I really have mixed reviews about this place, so better to stay with an average rating. I had some minor damage to my car and Jeremy was the rep. assigned to help me get my car fixed up. Must say, during my time working with Trophy, Jeremy was great. Customer service was deff 10/10, always pleasant and helped as he could. I dropped my car off as COVID was beginning to blow up, nonetheless, the drop off process was a breeze. Made a claim with my insurance, Trophy called me, set up an appointment to drop off my car, then I grabbed my rental with Enterprise (directly next door). Fast forward to a couple weeks later (don't remember how long, wasn't a big deal.) I go to pick up my car. Within the hour of having my car back I noticed: a strange noise coming from my car that wasn't there prior to dropping it off, my once tinted window was no longer tinted (where the work took place), my parking sticker was missing. They offer a warranty for where the work takes place, which is a huge plus. That said, I was in no rush to go back in due to COVID. I also haven't been driving much so it took me almost a month to realize they painted my rim the wrong color! This was mind-blowing to me and I called up there as soon as a realized it. Again, Jeremy was great about everything and told me to drop my car off again ASAP to get this resolved. I also brought up the tint and he was able to assist with this as well. Again, amazing customer service. I had a leak in that tire as well, they attempted to patch it up but the tire was previously patched so I just bought another one. They even took care of the rental while they fixed my rim/tire. I went to pick my car back up a little less than a week later, only to see they tinted my window... and it still didn't match my other 3 windows. Disappointing. After picking my car up for the THIRD time, it appears everything is good to go now. Coincidentally, the sound in my car has even gone away although they mentioned they didn't hear anything while test driving. My parking sticker was also recovered. Only advice I can give is thoroughly inspect your car before driving off, as my experience has shown me that this isn't done by Trophy. The positive is, they'll fix it, just is a pain to constantly drive up there.

We always book rental cars through costco travel. Even though Alamo wasn't the least expensive we…read morechose them as you get to pick your car from the car class you booked. The shuttle driver was nice and dropped us off right out front. Despite having Enterprise, National and Alamo on the building and what looked like 3 doors they routed us all into one building/office. The clerks made short work of the line. I was asked about my insurance company (not sure if that is new to rentals or just to Alamo or Texas) but they didn't harass me about declining coverages. They also asked my deductible. The staff assisting me was nice (I told her I wanted to go to Buc-ee's and she asked where we were staying and googled the closest one for us. I also told her I was excited Texas had Quik Trips and she told me there was one right up the street. I asked about tolls and was told "oh yeah all our cars are equipped for tolls." I didn't see the toll transponder I have seen in other major cities with lots of toll roads so I didn't think anything of it. We did not take toll roads our first day. I asked the people we knew who lived in texas what their toll tags looked like as I could not find it on the car (found out it is a T in an orange circle says toll tag or something like it). Basically told us to suck it up and take toll roads, fees be damned (because what can you do?). I was pissed and anticipated a large toll bill (and I mean it was a lot for 4 days but at least Alamo doesn't gouge you on the "fee administration" of the tolls like other places). We returned the rental car 1/2 and got the toll bill today. Tolls were $58.62 for 4 days and the service charge was $19.80. I don't understand how people afford to drive in texas if you can rack up a $60 toll bill in 4 days but my husband said they can afford it because gas is so cheap. Ok so after gas station talk we went out to pick out our car. There was a good amount of standard SUV's (our rental class) and we were told to pick. We were walking up and down the aisle trying to decide what to pick and a staff asked us several times if we needed help. We picked a black Ford Edge which was pretty new (only 4500 miles!) that was nice. It fit all our luggage and passengers. It had dual climate control, heated seats and the giant screen that paired well with my husband's android. It was a great car to tool around in the 5 days we were there. We had to gas it twice and when my husband said gas was $37 I was like "how small is the tank?" but gas was only $2.49 Gassed it before return and it was $7 We had no issues returning the car as we put in the address on our rental contract and there were signs. We got there when a shuttle was about to take off but they waited for us! Shuttle driver was super helpful loading bags and getting us to the airport safely and timely. I would rent from this Alamo again if in the area and will likely rent from Alamo in the future.

Well that didn't last long. From a five star review to a one star review faster than my rental car…read morestalling before getting out of the lot. Which is exactly what happened. We rented a Chevy Malibu and got the car quickly enough, but before we hit the street the car started jerking and then stalled on us with a notice on the dash saying to shift to neutral. My wife restarted the car and we got about halfway around the block before jerking abruptly to a stop as the engine shut down again. We managed to nurse it back around to the return side of the lot where we were told they would do a vehicle swap for us. They were totally casual about it like this happens all the time, but all I could think was we were about to drive across Dallas on the freeways out to Rockwall. If the car had died on the 635 we would have been screwed for sure, or even better yet seriously hurt in a crash as the car shuts down on a freeway. I called their customer service department today to discuss it with them, as I lost sleep last night thinking about how bad it could have been. They said they were going to escalate it to their management team, but I haven't heard back from anyone yet. In the meantime my wife noticed the check engine light has come on in the replacement (you guessed it, Chevy Malibu) and won't go off. So I'm just feeling super uneasy driving this car around and will certainly avoid renting from Alamo in the future as they are clearly not servicing their fleet. My family's safety is worth more than saving a few bucks on a sketchy rental.

Rockwall Location: AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE…read more I needed to rent a car to drive to a funeral in Oklahoma, and this was the only place in my area that had any cars to rent on short notice (3 days). I reserved the car online and my mother paid for it since I do not use credit cards. When I went to pick up the car, they wanted to see the card that was used for the reservation, which I did not have since my mother was already in Oklahoma. I got the card number from my mother and they accepted it. Then they needed a card for a $250 deposit. They needed a physical card so I gave them my debit card. My account had MUCH more money in it than they required, but they declined it with no explanation. At this point they just wanted to give me a phone number to call for a refund of the rental and get me out of their store. I did not need a refund, I needed a CAR! They did not care about my problem, they did not even TRY to find any solutions. They did not even care that they were turning away business! I told them to stop and wait. I had to have my wife come in who DOES have a credit card that we only use for emergencies. So they canceled my reservation and reworked it with HER as the driver. She wasn't even going on the TRIP! Eventually they let me have the car, and the car itself was great. But the ladies at the rental office were rude and uncaring, and have ZERO concept of customer service. It was such a negative experience that, no, I will NEVER use their services again, and no, I would NEVER recommend them for anyone else.
