Their specialty sirloin & the red wine steak are absolutely delicious. Other favorites. The grilled pineapple, pork belly, lamb, grilled cheese (fyi just cheese not a sandwich) & chicken hearts. You heard that right.... Chicken Hearts!!!! So tender and in my top 3 faves. Have to admit the filet and ribeye were a bit bland/under seasoned but with so many options and the price point I won't remove the star. We also did not try average chicken options aside from the hearts because....why???? We only tried a small portion of the salad bar to save room. It had plenty of options for sides. We did miss a few cuts (too full) so cannot comment on all. The prices are very reasonable and honestly a steal in comparison to most Brazilian steakhouses or ANY all you can eat anything. Particularly the lunch prices. The service was also excellent by a very attentive staff. Though some dishes took longer or a wait staff would occasionally skip by though our cards stayed green. Just tell them what you want to try and they bend over backwards to accommodate. The decor is classic steakhouse and suitable for a casual dinner or a formal celebration. We recently visited Tropieros on J Street with a party of 4 adults and 2 children. We had a 6:00 reservation, and since the restaurant was almost completely empty, we were looking forward to seeing what they had to offer. Being that they've only been open to the public since June, I went in with the expectation that there might still be some growing pains. There were definitely some positives. The salad and hot bar were nicely presented and everything we tried had good flavor. It wasn't quite as extensive as some of the other Brazilian steakhouses we've visited, but what was there was good. Our waitress was actually also working as the bartender, and she was fantastic. She had a great attitude, was attentive, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. I also have to give credit to the manager, who eventually jumped in and helped serve our table. It's always nice to see management willing to get involved. That said, the biggest issue was the gaucho service. After sitting down, we went approximately 25 minutes without seeing a single gaucho. There appeared to be only one gaucho working the tables initially, and even though the restaurant was nearly empty, the meat service was extremely slow to get started. At one point, I actually had to ask when they were going to start serving our table meat. Once the service finally got going, things improved considerably. Everyone eventually got plenty to eat and seemed happy with their meal. My girlfriend prefers her steak well done, which obviously isn't the typical temperature at a Brazilian steakhouse, but they were accommodating and prepared it the way she requested. Then came the bill. With a couple of drinks, our total was just shy of $500, and there was also an added gratuity for the "large party." I understand the reasoning behind a large-party gratuity, but with only a couple of tables occupied in the restaurant, it felt a little difficult to justify--especially considering we had to wait so long before receiving meat service in the first place. We did use a Groupon, which helped bring the cost down somewhat. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere and appears to have retained much of the old Claim Jumper-style décor, including the large antler chandeliers. It has a comfortable, interesting look. Overall, I think Tropieros has potential. The food we tried was good, our waitress was excellent, and management was clearly trying to make things work. But at this point, they have some work to do before they can really compete with the more established Brazilian steakhouses in the area. The meat selection/service needs to be more consistent, and at nearly $500 for six people, the overall experience needs to feel more premium. Add in the challenges of street parking in downtown Sacramento, and I think they're going to have a tough road ahead unless they can really separate themselves from the competition. I had the pleasure of enduring the "over attentive" (albeit at times forgetful) service, tasty foods, affordable price options (for all you can eat) and graciously spacious vibes and ambience of this fairly new Brazilian BBQ. We ate on a Sunday, for their lunch brunch. There is a $7 extra charge to open either sparkling or still mineral/spring water that is already sitting atop each table. We both opted for the more expensive all you can eat, which was only $10 more and included about 7 out more additions of meats. Brazilian BBQ is the only chance I get to eat Filet Mignon, and that was only available by choosing the more expensive all you can eat option. We came to learn the Filet Mignon never came out until we asked for it, even though we opted to pay extra for it. I would really like to see this place become more proactive and umprompted about bringing out cuts of meat like Filet Mignon. About 18 minutes passed after asking for the Filet Mignon before we actually got to try it. We first told our main wait person, and then three other staff afterwards that we wanted to try the Filet Mignon. It didn't come out until after the second time we told our original wait person. We were told the Filet Mignon was accidentally brought out to the wrong table. Soon after though about 5 minutes after that , we got to try the Filet Mignon. I would have loved to see more flavor or burnt/crisp outside edge of the Filet Mignon. I opened up the menu to keep an eye on the more expensive extra cuts we upgraded to try, and only two of them ever came by the table without us asking to try them. I really don't love that energy , because I feel the other cuts are always circulating weather we special requested to try them, it shouldn't be that we have to special request the more expensive options. Its not stated anywhere on the menu that they require you remind them you are paying for the more expensive option. If it is the policy to do this, it would be a great idea to slip in the words "by request" onto that portion of the menu. There were some memorable meat cuts: the bottom sirloin (you might have to request it, since it's on the more expensive option) was very good. The flavors seemed layered, the charred bits blended well with the more tender areas of the meat. The grilled cheese we were told is cheddar (it wasn't yellow, though) and you get the option of enjoying that with honey (traditional way to eat that). I had the cheese without honey, and it was devine. We had to request the cheese, too, which is also part of the more expensive option. If a big aspect of bad service is zero or neglectful service, this place is absolutely the polar opposite. Wait people were constantly at our table, asking if we want this cut of meat or that (though we had to remind them at least four times we wanted one specific cut), they asked if they could clear away a plate they didn't like seeing on our table , or bring another bottle of (surprise $7) bottle of sparkling or still water. The wait people were so attentive, it started to become borderline anxiety provoking. My company suggested I turn the dial to "red": a indicator to tell the wait staff we don't want anymore meats. Nope! Literally they kept coming, some even noticing and still going ahead with "I saw you marked red, but you would like this, its so good! ". It might be a good idea for a manager to have a mini soft training or informal team huddle before opening shift, to remind the wait people to be mindful of the green/yellow/red dial on each table. One wait person asked if I understand Spanish. I said no, and they proceeded to talk to me in Spanish, anyway. Fun fact: " no" in Spanish, is "no". I just smiled, not totally sure what was said, but I was able to convey in fact " no, I'm good on meat", pointing to the red color on the dial to indicate I did not want anymore meat. I couldn't get 2 minutes into a conversation with my company before another wait person was asking for what felt like the Nth time if I had changed my mind about allowing them to take away a plate that I would have rather continued using. The plate wasn't bothering me, but I surrendered custody back to their kitchen after being asked again and again if I "wanted" them to take my plate away. I wrote on our reservation that there was a birthday. I asked them not to sing happy birthday. They said they would bring the treat "to-go", at the end. They forgot, but "nicely" scolded/teased me for not wanting the birthday song. Now for value: The price is absolutely the best in the entire area. $25ish for the "basic" option during lunch is an amazing deal. I really don't see the value in the higher tiered options because most of them never came out on their own. For the more thrifty and plant based diets, they have a "salad bar" option for under $20! Its nowhere as big in selection like at Fogo De Chao, but it's offerings are well worth it, in addition to being fresh and tasty. read more

We came here for a work lunch to celebrate some birthdays. We usually go to Foga De Minas but they closed. It is located downtown. There is some street parking but there is also a parking garage across the street. We arrived around noon today Wednesday. We were immediately greeted and seated. The place was empty except for two other tables. The place is quite large. I really loved the old time but classy decor. The inside was remarkably REALLY clean. Even the bathrooms were spotless and did not have an odor. Our waitress came and explained everything nicely. She was always coming by often to refill drinks and clean plates. We opted for the full experience (gives more premiums like filet mignon) for just $36 for lunch which is a fantastic deal! I have paid that for less quality. The salad bar area was phenomenal. Loved everything in it. The chicken stroganoff was my favorite and the cheese rolls. They also had lasagna. The first meat item was a pork belly that was cooked and seasoned perfectly! so I was excited to try the rest. Unfortunately the rest of the meats severely lacked flavor. Pichana is my favorite and it was just eh. Too much red meat selections. There was only one chicken item and it was wrapped in bacon. My boss had the spicy beef and he said it was so chewy it was not edible. Some of the meats were so overcooked it was dry like the chicken, Parmesan crusted pork and the garlic steak. They did ask at the end if we had any requests so I said the cheese in which they promptly made for us. That was delish. We came with a reservation on Mother's Day to have brunch as a party of 8 who love a good churrascaria experience. We were immediately seated. Since it was a holiday, it was dinner pricing. A lot of people were there, but the restaurant is large, so it didn't feel crowded. The ambiance is classy with dark woods, chandeliers, & white table cloths. There are 3 sections of dining areas, including a bar area. Tables are situated closely, so it sometimes required snaking around to navigate getting around tables, other people, & the staff serving meat. The restroom was well-maintained. It was typical rodízio style with meats served off skewers, & cards to signal to keep it coming or that your stomach waves the white flag. Service was good. We were attended to & checked in on, but plates could have been cleared faster. The meats came by often, but we wish certain ones had made it over with more frequency or earlier on. We were asked about preferences to send over to our table, but that was at the end of our meal when we were stuffed. The staff had good attitudes. We didn't feel rushed at all, even though we lingered a bit after paying our check. There was a plethora & variety of foods & flavors to please your palate. Generally, the meats were tasty, & I especially loved the pork belly & picanha. The chicken hearts were a hit. The nicely presented offerings at the salad bar (fresh fruits, cold veggies, different salads, cheeses, etc) & hot bar (pao de queijo, rice, brunch foods like waffles & bacon, etc) were yummy to choose from. I visited Tropeiro's Grill in Sacramento, CA [1111 J St] on Sunday, 04/05/26, around 7 PM. I came here on Easter Sunday with my family, which provided a lovely dining experience. The concept of this restaurant is that servers go around each table carrying skewers of fresh grilled meats. Each table also has flipping cards in color codes: RED means to stop receiving meats and GREEN means to continuously receive meats. The restaurant is all you can eat, so visiting while super hungry is ideal and essential in order to fully enjoy the experience. From the dinner menu, we opted to go for the Full Experience, priced at $59.90 per person. This option included a vast list of meats to select from, such as filet mignon, ribeye, top sirloin, picanha, spicy picanha, bacon-wrapped steak, flap steak, beef ribs, red wine steak, garlic steak, parmesan pork, pork belly, pork sausage, leg of lamb, lamb chops, bacon-wrapped chicken, chicken drumsticks, and chicken hearts. Seasonal items included grilled cheese and grilled pineapple. I consumed the following, and they were all so palatable: * Picanha (top favorite) * Spicy Picanha * Lamb Chops (top favorite) * Garlic Steak (top favorite) * Beef Ribs * Filet Mignon * Ribeye * Grilled Pineapple (top favorite) Additionally, the salad bar was available for our convenience. All in all, the atmosphere exceeded standards. The service was quite good and attentive. What stood out to me was this person by the name of Mateus. He seemed to be the restaurant manager or even the restaurant owner. His hospitality was beyond incredible and he ensured that our expectations were on point with the food and service. I absolutely appreciated his pleasant disposition. Overall, this Brazilian Steakhouse delivered such a marvelous, unforgettable dining experience. I'm glad there is a Brazilian steakhouse in Sacramento. The next decent one I know of is in Roseville, which is a 30 minute drive. I went here with a family member to try it out. I read all the reviews and they were good so I was excited to try it. We did make reservations for early Saturday and about half the restaurant was full, so I can see it filling up quick on weekends. The restaurant itself is nice and spacious. Lots of tables and good for groups of all sizes. We opted for the full experience, which is their most expensive option, and includes all the meats (regular and premium), the salad bar and hot foods section. No drinks are included at all (except water) so you have to purchase those. We started off with the salad bar and hot foods. I tried most of the cheese options and bacon, salmon and sliced deli meats. So were decent. The bacon had a hint of sweetness and I would've eaten more if it weren't for the all you can eat meats. The workers were all great and attentive. It did feel a bit overwhelming in the beginning, but we got used to it and tried almost every meat available. We did skip all the pork options though and opted for mostly beef and a few chicken. My favorite is probably the spicy beef. I remember we had sirloin, ribeye, picanha, bacon wrapped beef and chicken, fried cheese, and a few others I can't think of. I was really full after trying everything. We also had Brazilian (swiss) lemonade, which was really good. Better than I make at home. One of the best things is they give you a discount if you're a state worker. 20% off per person (not the entire bill). In our first week back to the office, we went to try this spot. They had two prices 25.90 which is the lunch special price for the ACYE minus the premium cuts or 35.90 to get everything. We opted for the 25.90 which I felt was pretty good based on the different cuts available. They had the traditional self serve salad and sides bar which had a pretty wide selection. Just remember you're here for the meat. Service was okay I felt the servers could have came back to see if we wanted seconds of any particular cuts after we go through the initial round of cuts. The garlic steak, picanha, and pineapple were the table favorite. The restaurant had a lot of seating but since it wasn't packed during lunch it wasn't too bad. Next came the bottomless meats. This was my first time at a Brazilian steakhouse and wow I was not prepared. It was almost over stimulating how many times they came by with rare meats. Every meat they came with was fantastic, I did not have one meat I did not like. Each meat was unique and had a different seasoning and flavor. The sirloin, ribs, bacon wrapped chicken, and lamb chops were probably my favorite. The pineapple was one of the most distinct dish I have ever had. Very impressed by the range of flavors here, I definitely expanded my flavor palette. The prices are more on the steeper side but for the quantity and quality you get, it more than makes up for its ($$$$) price tag. I'd say expect to walk out of here for around $120 for a meal for two but VERY full and happy. I wish I took more pictures of every meat but I was so in the moment enjoying it! When I was walking downtown I saw this place. It used to be the old Claimjumpers. I am not to sure when it opened since I don't come to this area that much. The place doesn't have a parking lot. Street parking and its metered. I found a spot down the street. I was meeting a friend here for lunch. I figured I would try lunch here since it is cheaper. They have several options here. It's all you can eat. Just the salad bar is alone is $17.90. Gaucho's Cut is $22.90. Lunch special is $25.90 and the full experience is a whopping $35.90. If you are a state worker you get 20% off which is nice. They even have a First Responder discount for 30% so a lot going on here. The place is really big and they have a lot of tables with different sizes. Some of the booths in the back are really private to. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I had the hostess / server explain all the options and how it worked here. When you pay for the different options the salad bar is included. The salad bar is huge, it's a lot of food just by itself. A great variety. There are different salads, cold cuts, some meat dishes, rice and so much more. This place has a lot of food so make sure you are hungry to get your moneys worth. It is a lot. There is a catch. Your entire table must get the same option. I guess they don't want you sharing food and getting different cuts you are not supposed to. Just a note. Even though i picked the full experience since it's lunch time all of the meats didn't come out. I think the server said that if you wanted a certain cut you could ask for it. I was waiting for the Filet minion but it never came. There was so much meat that I was so full. Since you are paying the most I suggest you ask for what you want in the future. Since 36 bucks is a lot for lunch. This is a huge amount of food. There is a card on your table. One side is green color which means you want the meat. The other side is red and you need a break. I was shocked how is it really is inside. It is a great place to take someone out on a date or big parties to celebrate special occasions. Walking around downtown this place caught my attention because the address is 1111 -- it was a sign! I went around lunch and it was pretty quiet, I sat at the bar and they had a nice happy hour menu. I ordered shrimp cocktail -- they were huge and delish served chilled with lemon and cocktail sauce (I should have ordered horseradish!) -- and an Amazon martini (cucumber and mint. The service was great and the place felt clean, I only went as far as the bar. My I was chatting with the bartender and we were talking about spirits so she offered me to try a Brazilian rum, I said sure! She poured me a shot and I sipped on it through my lunch. When I got the bill I just handed over my card but when I saw the itemized receipt I was charged for a $10 shot. I brought it up and they were very accommodating and took it off. I'd call this a pretty standard Brazilian steakhouse experience - nothing bad, but nothing that really stands out either. The place has that classic vibe with dim lighting, white tablecloths, and a more traditional feel, which is nice but not particularly memorable. Service started off fine, but felt a bit off as the night went on. The staff were friendly, just not very attentive - dirty plates sat on the table piled longer than they should have, which kind of takes you out of the experience. One thing I did like, though, was how they walked around the dining area offering drinks with those bull-shaped bottles - it's a cool touch and adds a bit of character to the experience, although we refused to try the liquid, knowing which part of the bull body it came out of. We went for the all-meats option ($59.99), which is supposed to include 17 different cuts. In reality, it felt like a lot of that variety came from chicken and pork. The ribeye was honestly disappointing - flat and pretty tough. The filet mignon came out rare and heavily over-seasoned, which overpowered the flavor. On the flip side, the beef ribs were cooked nicely and tender, but surprisingly had almost no seasoning at all. One highlight was the bar right on the entrance - good selection of spirits, though you'll definitely pay for it. All in all, it's the kind of place you try once just to check it out, but probably not somewhere you'd go out of your way to come back to. read more

The ambiance is bright, loud, and really busy. Expect long wait times! The meat experience was not impressive. From the ratio of staff delivering particular cuts of meat to how busy they were, it was clear they were either understaffed or the kitchen was not prepared as most cuts were gone by the 4th table of being outside the kitchen amongst the 20-30 tables outside. As far as organization, the staff delivering meats had no real route to stay in routine, you would have to call them out for them to get your meats. It was a cat and mouse chase that I wasn't expecting during dinner service. From there, the meats were decent. Nothing note worthy. BUT THE SALAD AND HOT FOOD SECTION? That's where they shined. I actually came here a while back when it was still Pampas just for drinks, and didn't realize it had become Tropeiro's until this recent visit. It's within walking distance of the Golden One Center, which makes it a great spot before or after an event. Came here for lunch right at opening. I like that they offer different pricing tiers depending on how much meat selection you want. The prices are fairly reasonable. My group and I choose the Lunch Special for $25.90, which includes 11 selections of meat plus grilled pineapple. All lunch tiers also include access to the salad bar. The Full Experience is $35.90 and offers a few additional premium selections like ribeye, filet mignon, spicy Picanha, and beef ribs. I really enjoyed the salad bar. There were plenty of options from fresh salads and antipasto to cured meats, cheeses, and grilled veggies. They also had a few hot food items. Definitely try the Brazilian cheese bread, chimichurri, and Brazilian vinaigrette. MEATS: - Bacon-Wrapped Steak - 3/5: Not my favorite. The flavor was there, but it was a bit well done and meaty for me. - Red Wine Steak - 4/5: Really good. - Picanha - 5/5: So good! juicy, tender, and nicely fatty. So my son and I recently found ourselves downtown looking for a place to grab lunch and since we both had skipped breakfast that day,we wanted something hearty and different for us,so we decided to head on down to Tropeiros's Grill formerly known as Pampas to try this Churrascaria style restaurant. They are located on J street in the heart of downtown Sacramento,so parking is plentiful either in nearby parking garages or street parking. We went in during lunch hours on a random weekday,so no wait at all,even without a reservation.Once we sat down we had a choice of a lunch special ($25.90) or the full experience ($35.90),since it was both our 1st time at this location we had to go for the full experience,which I thought was a crazy reasonable price for what was offered. Our waiter was very helpful,super informative about what was offered and answered any questions we had about the hot bar/salad bar. So we started with the Salad Bar/Hot Bar and they had so many great looking options,from the vegetable soup to the perfectly whipped mashed potatoes,the candied bacon had me going back for thirds,They also had a super interesting looking entree which turned out to be a Brazilian style Lasagna-it was really incredible,I had to try that twice as well. The cold bar was pretty standard stuff with your regular salads and Caesar salads,cucumber salads,along with plenty of cold cuts and cheeses,I tried a few things from the cold bar and they were all fresh and tasty. Now I know,the younger me would've made fun of the current me for eating so much from the hot and cold bar but let me tell you it was all very delicious and hard to resist....Now onto the meats!!!! The "gauchos" in the restaurant were plentiful.Their pace was perfect.We never had to wait very long for the next meat on a sword offering.Some of the offerings included bacon wrapped sirloin-Parmesan Pork-Top Sirloin-Spicy Picanha-Pork Sausage-Grilled Cheese with Honey-Chicken Drumsticks-Red Wine Steak-Ribeye-Filet Mignon all very good-seasoned well,juicy and tasty. Top 3 offerings 1. Flank Steak-This thing was amazing,cooked perfectly-nice char on it-perfectly seasoned. 2.Picanha-I don't get served this cut too often so when I do come to one of these steakhouses,I look forward to this cut the most....I was not disappointed-it was so good-I kept looking over my shoulder hoping the Picanha offering was coming up again-it was great. 3.Grilled Pineapple-I was tempted to put this as my #1 choice but not picking a meat at a steakhouse felt wrong-now onto the pineapple-holy smokes-this thing was perfectly made-I truly do judge most Brazilian steakhouses on the quality of their grilled pineapple and let me tell ya,this place did not miss.Perfect blend of brown sugar and cinnamon on top of a melt in your mouth grilled pineapple spear-Chefs Kiss!!! In closing my son and I had a wonderful experience,he told me this is the place he wants me to take him to lunch whenever we are downtown.So if you find yourself downtown and want to treat yourself to a pretty filling yet tasty dining experience-don't hesitate to give Tropeiro's Grill a shot-I'm sure you will enjoy yourself. We visited Tropeiro Grill for lunch with a friend and opted for the full experience. While our friend eats all kinds of meats, we had clearly mentioned upfront that we only eat chicken, lamb, and seafood and do not eat pork or beef. Unfortunately, despite calling this out at the beginning, the servers kept bringing out every other meat cut except the ones we could actually eat. The chicken and lamb were very sparse, and it became frustrating to keep waiting while watching table after table get served continuously. After a while, we had to escalate the issue to the manager. Once involved, the manager did step in and made sure lamb, chicken, and shrimp were brought out and served properly, which we appreciated. That said, for the price point and expectations that come with a churrascaria experience, the service should have been attentive from the start, especially when dietary preferences are clearly communicated. The experience ended up feeling more stressful than enjoyable, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the ambience is beautiful, and the restaurant itself is spacious and well designed, making it a nice place to sit and socialize. Overall, Tropeiro Grill has potential, but I would really like to see more awareness and consistency in how they serve patrons who do not eat all types of red meat. I have very mixed feelings about our experience at Tropeiro's because the food itself was absolutely amazing. The meats were flavorful, perfectly cooked, and the steak servers coming around to the tables were fantastic, friendly, and attentive. Honestly, the food is the reason I would consider coming back. However, the overall service experience was extremely disappointing, especially considering this was supposed to be a special birthday dinner and our bill was well over $300. When we first walked in, they completely forgot it was a birthday celebration until I reminded them. Then things continued downhill from there. We brought in a $100 bottle of wine, and our waitress accidentally broke the cork while opening it. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she became visibly stressed because another table was demanding their bill. She walked away with our wine bottle and disappeared without explaining anything or sending another staff member over. We sat there for about 15 minutes with no wine, no service, and no explanation until I finally had to call over a manager myself just to get our food service started and get our bottle returned. As someone who has worked in the hospitality industry for 20 years and owns a bartending company, I understand mistakes happen -- but communication and professionalism matter. Standing there stressed while handling our expensive bottle because another customer was impatient was not appropriate service. The manager did apologize and used a decanter and strainer to make sure no cork ended up in the wine, which I appreciated, but the situation should never have escalated that far. There were also billing issues. We were told over the phone that children 5 and under were free and could share from our plates and use the salad bar. Thankfully I reviewed the bill carefully because they charged us a full adult portion for my child. They did correct it after I pointed it out, but it was frustrating to have to catch that ourselves. At the end of dinner, I asked for corn -- something they literally carve and serve tableside -- and it took about 20 minutes to arrive. Not a huge issue on its own, but by that point it just added to the disappointing service experience. The food truly lived up to the hype from Instagram and Yelp, but unfortunately the service absolutely did not. No discount or meaningful effort was made to make up for the experience despite everything that happened. Under new ownership, though the old Pampas sign is still outside. The salad bar looks good but most items were bland with very basic ingredients. Even with the premium AYCE option, the same cuts of meat kept rotating every few minutes. Servers didn't consistently follow the red/green card system, and most meats were bland, dry, or overcooked. The Amazon Martini was overly sweet, and while the wine list was okay, nothing stood out (corkage is $35). My family came here for lunch to celebrate a birthday. We have been to other brazilian style restaurants in Roseville and wanted to experience a brazilian style restaurant downtown. This location took over what used to be "Claim Jumpers". First impressions: very nice and comfortable ambiance. What really stood out were the positive attitudes displayed by our hostess, wait staff, and the gauchos that brought the unlimited amounts of grilled meats. Everyone and I mean everyone were very friendly, cordial, and attentiveness made our meal very enjoyable- basically top notch employees that understand the importance of customer service. out of 5 stars...i would say 5+. If you want to experience an enjoyable meal, the staff here made it worthwhile coming. So on to the food: there are three levels of dining experience. We chose the all inclusive which is about $36 a person. the cuts of meat begin arriving after we made our first trip to their unlimited salad bar. But first the salad bar. it was just ok. we did notice some items were not as fresh especially being their first diners. So we were surprised. Some items looked tired and a bit dry. Brazilian steakhouses are also known for their cheese rolls- the ones here were cold and a bit hard. some of the strawberries had brown spots. So the salad bar was generally a pass. But we were not here for their salad bar. it was for the cuts of grilled meats. So how were the meats? All grilled meats arrived fresh and hot. And we requested that the majority of our items served rare. Most items were very good. But we did notice their filet mignon and rib eye cuts were just ok - not as tender as their sirloin cuts. Their lamb chops were very good with a hint of mint and garlic. Beef from the ribs were very good- tender and flavorful. I should've asked for an actual beef rib to gnaw on but i didn't succumb to this desire. Chicken hearts were also very good. We didn't try any pork items. Not because we don't like pork, but we primarily focused on beef and lamb items. Their coffee is also very good. it is robust and not bitter. after a few refills, i could tell a caffeine rush had already occurred. They also serve a free sundae on your birthday- a nice touch. would i return? Absolutely! but i would skip the salad bar and focus primarily on the unlimited amount of grilled meat options. Again, the service was impeccable. if there were a particular cut we wanted, we just asked and within a few moments it would arrive. read more

Me and my boyfriend came here for Valentine's Day. They had a great special. The meat was so good, tender and flavorful. Even though people come for the Meat I promise I'm coming back for the chicken stroganoff. It was delicious. Salad bar was good just wish you guys had crackers to go with the cheese and stuff. We arrived ten minutes early for our 5pm reservation. We were late! My sister and brother in law had arrived ten minutes before us and already had a table. Being an early meal, most tables were empty, the decor appears to be some rather attractive remnants of previous tenants. Gold panning paintings? Were those from when Claim Jumper occupied the space? Several features were still branded "Pampas". Our server explained the process (we were familiar - not our first Brazilian steakhouse) and we ordered drinks, toasted and headed for the salad bar. I've never seen a better stocked salad bar. Soup, lettuces, vegetables, fruit, salami and several cheeses, tomato slices, mozzarella slices with basil, a variety of peppers, sauces, and dressings. My sister Lynn S said, "I thought the salad bar selection was fabulous, I enjoyed the caprese salad, mushrooms, cheese bread and fried bananas. Our server was helpful to let me know what items contained meat." Once back at our table and mostly done with our salads, the gauchos began offering meats. They arrived so frequently, I barely had time to eat. At one point I had bacon wrapped chicken, bacon wrapped steak, two sausage and a filet mignon on my plate. Our soft drinks and water were constantly refreshed empty plates annd glasses removed. About every 15 minutes a different manager stopped by to check on how we were enjoying our meal and service. Seriously, the most attentive service we've experienced at any Brazilian steakhouse. With 26 different options, we didn't have room to try them all. But everything we selected was perfectly prepared and deliciously seasoned. The Malbec recommended by our server was excellent with the beef selections. We shared a crème brûlée for dessert and my sister and I had coffee. Which was hot, fresh and strong and cream was delivered in a small ceramic pitcher. Decided to try this new Brazilian restaurant for a cheat meal on the weekend and it was a good idea. It's all you can eat with a huge salad/appetizer area. I stayed away from the appetizers so I didn't fill up on the meat. My fiancé loved the ceviche. The staff come around with different cuts of meat and you can choose if you want to try a piece or not. The negatives I have is that they don't ask if you want a piece of meat that is cooked rare or well done. Also a lot of the meat had a bunch of fat on it. The drinks were my favorite part, the non alcoholic and alcohol Brazilian drinks were both amazing! I've been to many Brazilian Steakhouses and this one was by the worst one I've been too. I only have 2 stars because the service was pretty good. The meat was over seasoned and undercooked. If the meat wasnt rare it was over done. I actually came here with my husband and a couple friends for my birthday and the place was pretty empty. I must say the restaurant was clean and looked decent inside, but I do feel like we wasted our money. Even the guy who checked on us agreed that the meat looked pretty rare when he seen it dangling from my fork. I only had about 3 meats. Nobody was walking around with the different options, it was just one guy that would go in the back and get the meats, I didn't even eat much. read more

Saw this place on TikTok and decided to make my birthday dinner here. Service was amazing. It was so easy to make reservation online and make adjustments if needed. When I called in, they accommodated to birthday because we had brought in our own cake. They kindly stored it in the fridge for me. We paid for the premium menu which was $60 but included all the meats, AYCE salad bar and side dishes. All the meats that we tried were so good. There was probably only one or two that were a little too cooked for my taste. The salad bar was nice and all the sides were good too. They had lots of servers come and tell us the type of meat that was on the skewer and they had many workers come by to check on us and refill our waters constantly. Even the co-owner Mateus came by and wished me a happy birthday. The cocktail was tasty. The restaurant was spacious with lots of seating and it was nicely decorated. they were even clearing all the dirty plates and cleaned the table for me before my cake arrived. When it came to my dessert, they unboxed my cake and put it on a cake tray and provided a knife to cut and lit the candle for me. The staff all sang happy birthday to me in Portuguese, which I thought was pretty impressive. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here and I was able to even take a picture with the co-owner and would definitely recommend anyone who would like to come here for a casual dinner or a special occasion. The little down side is that parking you have to park on the street because it's in downtown but we were able to find parking easily on a Saturday evening. read more
