Stopped by on a Saturday night for a few drinks. The Rooftop is a VERY cool concept. The entire roof becomes the bar and there are fire pits, couches, and even a disco ball. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered a Lusty Lady cocktail. There was no line at the bar, but this one cocktail took 10 minutes to be ready. The two bartenders had to check the recipe, fiddle with the computers, and even play with the music. The cocktail was fine, but not good enough to make me excited about it after the wait.

What a cool spot to chill and hang out! Quietly hidden above Sacrament Brewing and The Midtown Gastro Bar is a little oasis of open-air chillaxation!. I have driven past the building a million times and never realized there was anything more to it until this event. The space is relatively small and cozy, as lounges go, but it did not feel cramped. Along with a bar, there is ample seating, from high top tables to long benches and tables for chatting with friends. There was a DJ booth, front and center and they had a few DJs queued up, tag-team style, playing a variety of mellow house-music mixes. There is not a lot os space for dancing but a few brave souls crowded the DJs and shook their groove thang to the beats. We didn't know anyone there but the general vibe of the crows was friendly. The bartenders were really nice and full of personality and served our ginger beer quickly. We don't drink alcohol but from what I could tell from the other patrons, they seemed to be very happy with the service and quality of the drinks they ordered. Apparently, they have frequent events up here, as there was going to be a salsa dance party the next night! I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this place!

Decided to go out for a few drinks and go to a few bars. This place was good. My friend and I were looking for a rooftop bar so enjoy the outdoors. When we came in, we were told the rooftop was closed. So The Rooftop bar had a rooftop that was closed. We were obviously disappointed. Either way, we decided to stay for one drink and then we left. The drinks were just okay. Nothing to rave about but it could have been that specific drink so I would have to come back here and try other items from their menu. Til next time The Rooftop.

The vibes were cool upstairs. Drinks delicious and a great place to relax and have drinks. I wish there were more tvs just so the bar is not crowded trying to watch the sports game and I wish appetizers were options to purchase but totally understand that this place is for a drinks and casual hangout. We just got so hungry upstairs.

We attended a masquerade birthday party at the Rooftop. The staff was super welcoming and the space was delightful. We ordered the usual which features Ginger beer. The brand that they carried was new to me but still nice. The weather was perfect and the guests were wonderful to get to know. I would go back for another visit and recommend that you give them a

The vibe inside gives off a sophisticated elegance that is matched with quality drinks, a live DJ spinning beats and a friendly attentive staff ready to serve. This was my 2nd visit to Good Luck Lounge and I was with a large group with a table reserved where we pre-gamed for a concert we were attending next door. I really enjoyed the chatting with the bartender. I enjoyed the layout of the bar, there was plenty of space and I felt somewhat privacy with my group at the booth we were at. This is located on a rooftop of the Hyatt Centric with sweeping views of Sacramento and beyond. We went around sunset to enjoy some drinks and apps before heading out. The menu was creative and unique. Our cocktails were very well prepared and our server made a great recommendation when they were out of an Ingredient for one of the drinks we wanted to try. Their recommendation was a solid option. For food we tried the tandoori chicken lollipops which were super juicy and tender and flavorful. The pakoras were also perfect crispy on the outside and well seasoned. Highly recommend checking it out.

You need to take the hotel's elevator up to get to this bar. It almost feels like it should only be for people staying at the hotel but it is for anyone! When you enter, you are greeted by a hipster setting with swanky couches, vinyls on the walls, indie music, and a large bar area. The patio area is the main draw here as it is decently sized and has great views of the surrounding buildings. The pizza was pretty solid. I did not think it was going to be as spicy as it was but wow did it act like a flamethrower in my mouth. They had nice complimentary water that was easily accessible. The bar line can be long at times but the service is top notch. I'd say expect to walk out of here for about $25 a person for a drink and food. The views and ambience more than make up for its price tag. Also, the bathrooms are all gender so don't be freaked out if you see all sorts of people in the lavatory lol. Bottom line/TLDR: amazing bar!

Fantastic Spot To "Pregame" Shows @ Goldfields Next Door…read more SITREP We descended upon the Tack Room an hour before our show for "Ally The Piper" (both the classical AND heavy metal bagpiper extraordinaire) began her show! THE SETUP Goldfields is a charming, rustic country-western stylized saloon that serves up beer at good prices. But we weren't interested in beer and wanted quality cocktails. Hence, our pivot next door to the Tack Room! QUALITY COCKTAILS & DRINKS! The Tack Room specializes an amazing array of martinis, bourbons, and other deLISH cocktail drinks at really really reasonable prices! So this was an excellent choice to chill, thus avoiding the tremendous *noise pollution* we were immediately subjected to upon entering Goldfields an hour later for our show. THE LOWDOWN This is a quality bar with plenty of comfortable seating to relax and have quiet, intimate conversations. So if you and your later friend(s) want some privacy, cocktails at a reasonable price, etc., this is a good way to go.

It's themed around horse racing, but not in an overbearing or... tacky way. The mixologist was delightful and had great recommendations, the lights were dim, and the drinks were all on point. The highlight was the espresso martini, which is among the best I've had. It was reminiscent of the one I had at the Starbucks Roastery in NYC, which is high praise. The other coffee drink that surprised me was the Revolver. I always forget about what a good pairing orange and coffee is, and I'll be taking this one back home with me to try! Every other drink we tried was delicious in some unique way. The Pho drink was savory and surprising, the New York Sour was rich and flavorful, and the Practical Move was refreshing. Will definitely return here after dinner to sip an espresso martini for dessert!

I had been to Bawk before but little did I know about the hidden space behind it. You do need to make reservations, which I did not do. Instead I got on a list until there was a space, close to midnight and way past my bedtime, to discover this hidden gem. Once your reservation time comes up, you are escorted to a booth or bar area and given a menu. We had welcome drinks upon arrival and could choose from a cocktail list. The space is small and intimate with serious speakeasy vibes that remind me of some of the cocktail bars in San Francisco. The drink presentations are gorgeous, and you can tell a lot of thought goes into both the flavor and how everything looks when it arrives at the table. They have a great selection of gin, rum, champagne, and whiskey, and I often lean on the staff for drink suggestions because they're really good at recommending something you might not normally order. A few times now they've pointed me toward a drink that ended up being a hidden gem. I've been here a few times and it's always a great time whether you're catching up with friends or doing a date night. The food is also surprisingly good and pairs well with the cocktails. It is definitely on the pricier side, but that's part of the experience. Also, because the space is small and intimate, reservations fill up quickly and they do require a deposit, which goes toward your final bill. Helpful tip: make a reservation ahead of time and don't be afraid to ask the staff for drink recommendations -- they're excellent at guiding you to something special. Final verdict: absolutely worth it.

When you order drinks at the bar they charge a $3 "service fee." What is this ? Yall aren't DoorDash. Drinks are already so expensive as is so to be charged an extra $3 on top of that was shocking. Second, the dance area also doubles as the walkway to the bathrooms and service area for the bottle girls/staff so expect to be pushed and shoved the whole time you're there. It didn't really hit me till I went another time how much of a vibe killer that was.
