Trivic Remodelers did a fabulous job on my condo upgrades. I had Ned and his team remodel my kitchen, redo my floors, paint, and build shelves around my TV. His team did a fabulous job. I was desperate for a contractor and went to Angi list and filled out what I was needing, and Ned contacted me right away and as soon as we talked on the phone, I felt comfortable with him. We were in constant contact throughout the process, and he would help me in making some design decisions. He has some great experience with kitchens he has done. I could not be happier with my finished product. One of Ned's contractors, Wes, was amazing and was so particular on every project he did, I appreciate his work as well. I wish there was such a thing as a negative star. I've never had work done by Trivic and rest assured I never will. The gentleman, and I use that word loosely, on the phone was disrespectful and condescending. He called to cancel today's appointment. Note- he's cancelling on me not the other way around. Now, I understand the need to cancel due to the rioting that's happening around the city at this time. He then asked could he reschedule for Thursday. I informed him I had plans on leaving town Thursday if possible. The reason I say if possible is because I am a police officer and I'm not sure I will be able to leave due to work. He then asked if he could make the appointment Saturday. I told him Saturday is no good for me. He then became extremely snarky and stated that "we only want serious people, and you ain't serious" and hung up the phone. Let's be clear, I spend my money with companies who will value me as a client. Money spends anywhere and it most certainly will not be with Trivic. I don't care how good your work might be, I prefer businesses that have character. That tells me everything I need to know about your product. read more

It was a dream of our mom to have the kitchen renovated, but that dream didn't materialize due to her passing in March. To honor our mom, our dad wanted her dream to be fulfilled, so we looked for a remodeling company that we could trust with such a special project. After reading through the reviews for Trivic Remodelers Inc., we contacted Ned for a consultation to renovate the kitchen, replace the flooring throughout the house to match the living room floor, and add canned lights to the living room. We decided to move forward with him because he was very personable and knowledgeable, and his estimate for the job was fair. From the very start and throughout the entire renovation process, Ned was extremely involved and responsive. He was in constant communication with us to make sure we knew what was going on and with his team to make sure that everything was done right. He was flexible with any changes we had. He even went out of his way one night to help us fix an urgent water heater problem before out-of-town guests arrived the next morning. Everything he did for us shows that Ned is a good person with a big heart, and we are grateful to have him lead this project. We were also impressed by the different experts that Ned brought on for the job. They were all kind, professional and efficient. Gustavo was on Ned's team and was at the house for the majority of the renovation. Not only did he do a good job with each project he worked on; he became a friend to our dad and family during a very difficult time. The kitchen is beautiful, bright and open! It meant so much to us to have a new kitchen that is everything our mom would ever want, and we are so thankful to Ned and his team for making it a reality. Ned was AWESOME. He is extremely professional, reliable, and communicative. His work is beautiful, and he does it efficiently. I've worked with many contractors in the past and he is the only one I would hire again. He handled multiple changes and additions to the project (caused by me :) with ease, and was able to replace all our carpeting with hardwood while in the midst of a kitchen remodel. Also, he was upfront about the cost/benefit of certain decisions (plumbing, placement of cabinets, etc) and was just an incredible consultant throughout the entire process. They did our kitchen last year. It was the best experience with this sort of thing I've ever had. Ned (the owner) was realistic and honest about the timeframe, the cost, etc. He also recommended subcontractors who have since been a great help to us (when rain got into our attic, shorted a light and started a small fire). Aside from the high quality of the work, the attention to detail, and the friendliness of Ned -- the best thing about Trivic is that they were meticulous about cleaning up every evening when they left. Must've been tricky, given that I think they pulled up 3-4 layers of old flooring from our 90 year old kitchen -- but they did it. You can probably find someone who will do work cheaper -- there's always some guy in a pick-up who can. But if having it done right the first time -- and on schedule -- matters, go to Trivic. Finally, I gotta say -- Ned and all the guys who work with him were very polite and respectful to my wife. I can't believe one might expect something else in the 21st century, but it still seems uncommon. read more

Kitchen Remolded. It has been a pleasure working with Trivic Remodelers. Ted, the owner, helped us in designing our layout, which included electrical and plumbing work. Trivic installed custom-made cabinets, a dishwasher, a range hood, a sink, and quartz countertops for our kitchen. Our home is 136 years old and still had the original plumbing. Trivic encountered problems with the plumbing and replaced the old rusted and cracked pipes with PVC and copper pipes bringing us into the 21st century. We were impressed with their knowledge and expertise. Any of our questions and/or concerns were promptly answered and addressed. The whole experience has been a satisfying one and we would definitely recommend Trivic Remodelers for their renovation services. read more

In the past, we have done several remodeling projects on prior homes. By far, working with Ned at Trivic was the best experience. The results were far better we expected, the project took the amount of time I expected (without delays), the people working on the project really knew what they were doing (plus considerate), and Ned stayed actively involved every day supervising and helping with the work. Initially we started with having the roof replaced and after they did such a fantastic job we decided to have our kitchen remodeled. I can't begin to say how pleased I am with my kitchen remodel! Trivic remodelers were professional from start to finish and any concerns were addressed in a timely manner and resolved. I would recommend them in any capacity for any remodeling needs! Don't understand what the other reviews are about... Trivic just left or rather I put them out.. They were extremely rude and tried to sell me something I had not asked for. Really did not appreciate the way they talked down to me and assumed I had no knowledge of what my construction project entailed. When I asked them to close the gate next time which they left open when they came in (and I have a small dog which could have gotten out) their response was there will be no next time. Our condo association had a great experience working with Trivic Remodelers. In the beginning of the summer, our neighborhood got pounded with a bad hailstorm. We had to deal with insurance companies for our own property and for the condo building. Everyone knows how frustrating that process can be and when we found out we needed a new roof I was overwhelmed at the thought of using the contractor our insurance recommended. I did a little Yelp research and called Ned. I'm so glad that I did. Ned did not make this process difficult and was very personable and accessible to us. He went out of his way to communicate with us, schedule meetings and he was incredibly affordable. The insurance recommended contractor was way overpriced and Ned was able to save our association a considerable amount of money. He really took the burden from us and did everything he said he would in a prompt and timely manner. I know that the other insurance contractors were so busy with hailstorm repairs we were going to have to wait until late October to get our new roof. The process with Trivic was very timely and we had no problems with prompt repairs, etc. Ned was on-site for most of the repair-work and he even upgraded our roof and gutter system for the good price he gave us. The crews that worked were fast and efficient. I didn't have much interaction with them, but they went above and beyond--cleaning out some duct work by request and adding a few improvements to the pipes on our roof. I couldn't be happier with our choice to work with Ned. When he finished the job, I wanted to look around for more work for him to do! When the time comes for more repairs or improvements, I'm definitely going to call Trivic. read more

I had the great fortune of meeting Ned and Rick in 2002, when I needed to have my roof replaced. Trivic Remodelers were the greatest! They provided me with a time line for the roofing project, stuck to it, and I was very satisfied with the results. The workers arrived on time, cleaned up and did a fantastic job! A year later when I had a small leak around the attic windows, they were more than willing to send some one to check it out and make the necessary repair. Trivic has since renewed and refreshed my kitchen with new Corian countertops, sink and faucets, backsplash tile, undercabinet lights, and a refinished original oak hardwood floor. Again, the work was completed in a timely manner, the workers were great, and Ned came out himself to help install the under the cabinet lights. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! Fast forward to this spring (2010), when I decided some energy efficient windows would help with energy costs. Again, I turned to Trivic Remodelers and they were super to work with. Eight new windows were installed in one day, the two guys who did the work were very respectful and did a great job all around. I highly recommend this company. I have had nothing but good experiences with them. Ned and Rick have always been helpful when I have called with a request. I may have had a great experience with this company, however it started out leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I don't like fast talking salespersons who assume they are wasting their time giving me an estimate. How dare you say to me, "I don't want to waste your time or mine...but if you want a complete kitchen remodel, it's going to cost you about $60,000. You're not ready...call me when you're ready!" REALLY??? Don't hold your breath!! I got a call back from the salesperson about 4 weeks later. I told him I was not ready to start the project. He then said to me, "Do you know when you'll be ready?" I replied, No, not at this time." He followed with, "Carry on!" and abruptly hung up the phone!! Never once did he say thank you for considering Trivic!! Due to the crazy hail storm last year, I earned a new roof through my insurance company. Through Yelp, I found Ned at Trivic Remodelers, and what a find! He helped me thoroughly understand all of my options, gave me a free upgrade to my roof, and took time to answer all of my questions. I never even saw the workers! They came after I left for work, and were gone before I got back. After the second day, it looked like they had never even been there; no mess left behind! My roof has kept us dry through some terrible storms lately, looks great, and was all within the price range given to me by the insurance company. Thanks a million, Ned! read more

Please read this entire review as the length is necessary given the size of my project and positive experience with Trivic. I was impressed with Trivic from my first very phone conversation with Ned, which lasted about fifteen minutes and involved Ned feeling out what we were looking to accomplish and within what timeframe. No other contractor invested so much time learning about our project in determining whether to provide an estimate. Our renovation involved three main projects: (1) remodeling two bathrooms; (2) installing custom kitchen cabinets and new countertops; and (3) adding finish carpentry to the main level including new crown molding, baseboards and wainscoating. Trivic wasn't the highest or the lowest bid we received (probably closer to the high end than the low end), but based on my first interaction with Ned I was confident we would be in good hands. I probably would have hired Trivic even if they were the highest bid. Our goal was to complete certain important projects (e.g., master bath remodel) before moving in, and Ned and his team effectively managed our timeline and expectations and met all of them. During the busiest times of our remodel, I was in contact with Ned nearly every day and usually multiple times a day. Ned sought our input on all important decisions and made his own where appropriate. His whole team was courteous and responsive throughout the project, willing to coordinate with other service providers we hired on our own (e.g., hardwood floor refinishing) and adjust work schedules as necessary. Ned can recommend specialists for any area but will not push them on you. For example, Ned recommended a painter but had no problem with us selecting someone else after receiving a few quotes. His team, Wesley in particular, is extremely trustworthy, takes pride in their work and it shows in the final result. We are 110% pleased with the results. We wound up with a main level with all new trim work, a brand new kitchen and two new bathrooms. Given the size of our project and delays (on our end) in selecting materials, etc. we wound up with numerous small punch-list jobs like moving recessed lighting, hanging pendants, and installing a kitchen backsplash and undermount lighting. My experience was that Ned works more informally in terms of pricing for these "add-ons" that inevitably occur with any project, but I was comfortable working with Trivic within this framework knowing that pricing would be fair and the work would be top-notch. We only had one minor hiccup that I can remember on our project, which I think is worth mentioning because it exemplifies the level of service that Trivic provides. Ned's team installed a new garbage disposal while we were waiting for a connecting dishwasher drain hose. The dishwasher inlet on the disposal remained unplugged (due to having no dishwasher hose) and we had an overflow while doing dishes in the sink one night. I contacted Ned late at night and he came over first thing the next morning with a plug. Minor problem, simple solution fixed immediately. By contrast, we've had other contractors take weeks to correct issues. Trivic was an exceptional company for our project. We will absolutely hire them again and have recommended Ned and his team others. read more

Last year, my wife and I wanted to add a deck and redo the kitchen, so we decided to get the deck done first to see if we liked the contractors in the first place. The deck was amazing, up in no time, and the guys who built it were super friendly. We then asked Ned to do our kitchen, and the result was amazing. Ned was responsive to any issues or inquiries we had and he always came when we asked to have a meeting. We wanted to reconfigure the cabinets so they were more usable and Ned gave us plenty of options from which to choose. The amount we ended up paying was exactly the quote he initially gave.
