Went here as a teen with a church youth group. I had the best time. We stayed in like cabin style bunks. Just some great outdoors fun!

We are new to the area and when we saw this at the Cinema Cafe, we knew our kids were in for the best summer ever. They can't wait.

The staff were friendly and nice; our waitress even made some conversation at our table for a little bit. The outdoor dining area had a cute setup; def would like to see how it is during the summer. I don't remember the name of the drink I got because I asked the lady at the order window to make whichever one was both fruity and sweet. I'd give the drink an 8/10; it was pretty good, but became watered down really really fast. Didn't try any food off the menu because we were already planning to go eat after we left the farm, but after looking at the menu, I definitely see myself going back here soon to try their food and whatever new seasonal items/drinks they'll be adding to the menu in the next month or so. My overall rate of experience : 8.5/10

I ordered the Chicken Salad Sandwich with fresh fruit & a Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail. The chicken salad was horrible, lol like I actually took one bite & couldn't eat anymore. It's like the chicken salad was ground or puréed. The fresh fruit was delicious & ripe! The Strawberry Lemonade was delightful, a little heavy handed for my liking. I'm so happy this place is open that I'm still giving it 5 stars, despite not eating the sandwich.

My son started with the potstickers. We opened with the charred octopus and I understood immediately why people rave about it. Smoky, tender, with brightness and acidity that kept it light despite the char. The foie gras was my first time and it won't be my last. Silky and rich with just enough sweetness from the berries to keep it from being too heavy. The scallop and lobster duet was the dish of the night. Sweet, buttery, and luxurious in a way that felt effortless. I could have had another round. The filet mignon closed it out. Deeply seared crust, impossibly tender inside, with a sauce that brought everything together. Melt-in-your-mouth is an overused phrase. Here it's just accurate. Sommelier Marc Sauter was a mind reader. He paired wines differently for my wife and me each round and nailed it every time. That kind of instinct is rare. Service was on point all night. I drink a lot of water and could barely get through a glass before it was refilled. The ambiance is calm and upscale without ever making you feel out of place. If you're on the fence about the wine pairing, don't be. Just do it.

The valet greeted us warmly, parked the car, and even opened the door for my wife -- a small but meaningful touch that set the tone for the evening. At the table, we were pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful birthday card signed by the entire staff. Shortly after being seated, John, our server, welcomed us, wished me a happy birthday, and took our drink orders. When he returned, he walked us through the evening's specials with professionalism and enthusiasm. We began with the sea scallops ($26), cooked perfectly and finished with kabocha squash purée, hazelnut, crispy sage, Honeycrisp apple, and fennel relish. The dish was beautifully balanced and outstandingly delicious. Next, we shared Zoe's Caesar salad ($14), their interpretation of the classic. Served as a split wedge with green goddess Caesar dressing, brioche croutons, chicharrón bacon, roasted tomatoes, and finely grated Parmesan, every component was fresh and flavorful. We thoroughly enjoyed it. For dinner, my wife selected the 7 oz Creekstone filet mignon ($59), cooked perfectly to medium rare and served with Boursin whipped potatoes, caulilini, and truffle demi-glace. It was a creative dish, and all the components worked harmoniously. She enjoyed it very much. I chose the local catch halibut ($54), accompanied by butternut squash risotto, crispy cider-glazed Brussels sprouts, beurre noisette, prosciutto, and toasted hazelnuts. The dish arrived piping hot and impressed from the first bite. The halibut was perfectly cooked, and the risotto complemented the dish beautifully. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. After such a wonderful meal, we decided to share dessert and opted for the spiced fig crème brûlée ($12). This excellent interpretation of the classic was served with apple streusel crumbles and julienned Honeycrisp apples. It looked as good as it tasted, and we both enjoyed it very much. From start to finish, our experience was exceptional. I highly recommend checking out this wonderful local eatery. You'll be glad you did -- and you'll be supporting one of the preeminent restaurants in the Virginia Beach fine dining scene.

I got pasta with a red vodka sauce with a pesto drizzle. It is the best pasta dish I have had in a while. My husband got the burger. I took a bite. Very flavorful and fresh. I could have eaten all of that I tasted the grilled chicken over rice. That was also good. The ambience is my favorite part of this restaurant. There was five other birthday parties going on. What a really fun vibe to this restaurant I highly recommend checking it out. I would also recommend reservations because of how busy.

The entire staff from hostess to server to food runner all went out of their way to welcome our child. They gave crayons, came by to say hello, and made funny faces. We are used to the normal accommodation of children (which we expect, we know nobody finds our child as cute as we do), but this was the first time everyone seemed elated to have a toddler dining in. We were checked on frequently by many staff members, which is indicative of a true team. The restaurant interior is bright and clean. It gives a flair of sophistication without being too formal. The restaurant was busy for a Saturday evening, but we were able to get a reservation earlier that afternoon with no problem. Our party shared a combination of happy hour appetizers and full dinner entrees. The dishes were innovative and unique, and tasted amazing. The mussels in jalapeño cream were particularly delicious and something I want to return for. After dinner, we opted to take the pumpkin cheesecake home. We were pleasantly surprised to find when we arrived home that they had packed a bag of ice to keep the dessert cold on the drive home. Truly just next level service and amazing attention to detail.

My server was really patient with me, letting me take my time with the menu and figure out what I was craving. I ordered calamari for a starter and for the main, I had spaghetti with mushroom sauce and eggplant. I went with the side of soup option instead of salad. It was all quite delicious and actually satiated my cravings for pasta, except the soup was a tad bit too salty for my taste. I did take it home and revamped it as a leftover (we don't waste any food here lol!). Overall, I had a good dining experience and will come back again when I'm in the area!

We only wanted something light because our family is having a BBQ in a little bit but we couldn't wait for the food to be ready. The atmosphere was rather nice and calming, jazz music, not over crowded for a Sunday at 12:30pm. Ruben was on point with the warm complimentary bread + pesto! The mozzarella sticks, he described as rather big but yummy. He was accurate. We also split a chicken Philly sub that was good, the potato chips on the side were a home-made different touch, I appreciated but my little sister wasn't a huge fan. Overall, we will be back! Thanks for having us.
