We had come here on a Monday morning during a long weekend; despite it being a holiday, almost every table was filled with guests. We were seated after a few minutes at a table in the corner, which had enough room for the four of us. I had settled on the Triple D breakfast, while my husband had settled on the eggs benedict, and my kids the French toast bites and kids egg breakfast. Overall, the food was well-portioned, and cooked well. We could tell that the ingredients were fresh, and that the chef took his/her time to cook the meal, as the eggs were cooked completely through. Considering the prices that we had paid, we were stuffed, and didn't have to eat until later on in the evening. The food did take long though, and we had to wait in-line for a bit to pay for the bill. Service was good, as the waitress came to check on us a few times during our meal. Francois, who is a driver for the shuttle for the hotel where we were staying asked us if we had gone to anywhere for breakfast. We said the hotel but ranted about how God awful expensive it was. He said I've got a place i recommend. Gave us Triple D's diner business card, so on the morning before hitting the road, we stopped by, and huge shoutout to Francois!!!! Thank You! Best breakfast around! And pricing wasn't jacked high! Ambiance was just like a typical diner back in the 60s. Decor was super cute. Place was very clean. Staff was nothing but friendly and helpful! Food: Great breakfast. A bit of redemption on our way back to the states after tolerating the Embassy Suites lackluster breakfast the last few mornings. I heartily recommend the Corned Beef Hash. Service: Very kind and very quick. An at-home local feel and care. Price: Really reasonable--a great value! Atmosphere: Great classic diner vibe. Not over-the-top or fake. Chill & relaxed. Again, was redemptive in that regard too after our over-crowded hotel breakfast where "personal space" was an unattainable luxury. Give these folks your business, whether local or traveling. Compared to most Torontonian brunch spots, this place was slightly underwhelming. The first impressions and deco was good, and the prices seemed reasonable. The fish and chips was honestly quite good and everyone in the party was fighting for a bite. Burger and fries for kids were pretty good, too. However, some of the other items were lackluster. The eggs Benedict flavour was off (according to friend who always orders EB at brunch) , the pancakes were just not fluffy, the oil on the home fries tasted "old" - a major turnoff for me. I'd say as long as you steer clear of the aforementioned menu items and order their fish and chips, fries and burgers, you'll likely enjoy the meal. This was probably the best breakfast we had our whole trip in Canada!!! The service was great and everyone was so friendly. Everything was made fresh, so while it took a little bit more time to come out, it made up for in flavor. They have great menu options that combine multiple different flavors. Went here the first day after the lockdown. I was pretty excited to be back out and in a restaurant again. This was my first time here and I was pretty impressed. It had a real diner feel. The staff were super nice right from when we waked in. We went for breakfast. I had a classic bacon and egg breakfast. The eggs were excellent, and the potatoes were decent. The toast could have been warmer, and it would have been nicer to have the butter on the toast melted. I would go back again and try some other items. read more

We stopped by this diner while visiting Niagara Falls. We really wanted to get away from all the crowds and touristy spots and found this gem. It is an old fashion style diner with comfort food and huge portions. The prices are reasonable, and I can tell most of the customers were locals. If it is filled on a weekday morning, you know it has to be good. read more

This was a cool little place and the last place we had breakfast before crossing the border back to New York. It was recommended to us by someone local, and I'm so glad they told us about it. It was busy, but we were lucky to get a seat and enjoy a nice brunch before heading back to the states. The food and coffee were excellent, and the service was with a smile. The whole place had the kitch of an old diner, and was small and cozy. I seem to remember the coffee being excellent as well. Hubs and I wanted to try a new place since we frequent the Niagara Falls area so much. Just a 10-15 minute drive outside of Clifton Hill area, we found this restaurant on yelp! Looks like a popular place, there was a wait when we got there around 10am. The staff seems overwhelmed and rushed, and honestly, it felt like they were just trying to turn over tables as fast as possible. Our waitress hardly checked on us, we didn't get any refills on our waters, but they did come around with the coffee pot a lot for those drinks. The food was average diner, I had the pancakes, which were extra fluffy and pretty tasty. I did steal some of my husbands eggs to try a bite, they were good, needed some salt and pepper. I don't know that I would return, I'll probably keep trying new places as I travel, but this would definitely be a safe place to try if you're in the area! read more

This place was by far the best place to eat in town. It is a small ole town feel diner. You walk in and the people are so nice and polite. You seat yourself, which was nice because you have the say in where your positioned. The coffee came right out with the waitress which was extremely nice. I ordered the bread pudding French toast. Look at the picture because it was three giant pieces of toast. I could not even finish them. They had the best taste I had ever had in French toast. My wife ordered the eggs Benedict, I am not a fan but when I tasted these I was hooked. They did such a superb job in our meal that this became one of my favorite places to eat while on travel. My daughter had the egg, bacon, and home fries. Normally she eats a few bites and calls it good. This time she ate majority and truly enjoyed it. This is a must stop if in the Niagara area. II wish I could comment on the food but we never got it after waiting 45 minutes. I can comment on the service which was none. He never came back to refill our coffee while waiting nor to tell us about the delay. After waiting, we had to ask another waitress about the wait. We were staying in Clifton hill for our anniversary and decided we were tired of the chains and touristy spots so we got on yelp and found Triple D's. It was only a 10 min drive and it was well worth it. Back to normal prices and good food. I ordered two eggs home fries bacon and wheat toast. Every thing was awesome! I had to add salt and pepper but after that. Amazing!! Wife ordered the pancakes which tasted awesome! It was $21 for the two of us which wasn't bad considering Perkins was $22 a piece yesterday. Went there this morning for a quick bite of breakfast. I order the Breakfast Speacial - 2 eggs,sausage,home fries and egg bread with Coffee. 7.50 for the breakfast...a little on the high side but seams to be the norm for a 5.99 breakfast these days. I would like to see that with included coffee which a lot of the competition is doing, but whatever. The food was good, service was good and best of all it's quite. Unlike Marcel's which you can't even think to yourself it's so loud. I recommend as an alternative to the Queens which seems to be sliding downhill. read more

I've been coming to this restaurant for almost five years. The food is great and more importantly consistent! The restaurant is great for breakfast with great variety for all ages young and old. The restaurant is very popular with locals and they have a very loyal and consistent following. I see many of the same tables over and over again, that alone says a lot because people don't come back if they are not happy! Portion sizes are generally large and the menu has good variety and daily specials. The space works well with young and older clients and the music is never too loud so you can easily talk with anyone at your table. To be fair I'm not sure what the negative points could be, oh yes I have one! Unfortunately the restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch. With the exception of Friday and Saturday evenings they do an early dinner. My wish is that they would do dinner every night and be open later. But it is what it is. If you want clean, friendly, better than good home cooked food and no attitude I believe you will be happy here, I know I am! read more

Have gone here for a few years as a local. Always loved the food and the staff are friendly however this past week when I went there for a late breakfast I felt extremely uncomfortable with the conversations the staff were openly having with a customer. The waitress openly discussed her dislike for LGTBQ2+ community, stating "no wonder children are so messed up now being exposed to this" and how it's ridiculous that a family member of the fourth grade "knows what every letter means" and her disapproval of it. It was extremely disheartening. a complete lack of regard for anyone around them who may be affected by her words let alone the disapproval in general. Unfortunately I will no longer be returning to what I once thought was a lovely spot close to home. read more

Staff are racist! Don't bother walking in because you won't even be served. The experience was like they're unable to see people of colour - just seeing their own kind. I've been there a few times including when pregnant - no one came to the table, the ladies just look at you and ignore you!? I'd give them a zero if I could! We are regulars to Niagara Falls and we have our favourite breakfast spots but this time we decided to try something new and oh god why didn't we find this place earlier?! My bf had a spicy breakfast burrito- amazing, flavourful and massive, couldn't finish second half. I got eggs Benedict- peameal bacon was the best one I've ever had, it was just melting in your mouth, hollandaise sauce is well done, eggs are cooked the way they should be. This is the only part I like about getting my car serviced, I enjoy a great meal while waiting. Friendly staff, awesome atmosphere, free WiFi, and the prices. Very affordable, kids menu, good portions and bottomless cups of coffee. Washrooms were impeccable, cleanest I've seen. The only negative thing I can say about this place is there are no booths, but I understand with the limited space of the building. The 50's theme is well presented. EAT HERE!!!!!!! This diner deserves more than 5 stars. AMAZING, SCRUMPTIOUS, FILLING. Just WOW. I had been looking for a place to have a nice breakfast while in the area and am so glad we chose Triple DDD Diner. I had the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were cheddar chive biscuits and had been warmed in the grill. Wow! The sausage gravy was delicious and served with eggs. I had asked if it was the traditional white southern gravy, and our server perfectly described this gravy - slightly orange color due to sausage and paprika. My husband had pancakes, eggs, home fries and bacon. The pancakes were thick but fluffy and melted in your mouth. The potatoes were incredible with a slightly crispy exterior. The bacon is a type of bacon that is found in Canada, our server explained to us - peameal bacon. The coffee was to perfection. If we had been in the area another day, we surely would have returned. Our server was delightful- helpful and so kind and welcoming. The place is well decorated and very clean. We will DEFINITELY be back next time we're in the area. A must visit!!!! read more

Occasionally good food but a lot of the other times terrible , delayed service , cold or out of date food , burnt or dry. Great food when it's a slow day (during the week ) but over 45 minutes for food on a weekend .. the efficiency and the flow of the communication of the front of house and back house is terrible . Inappropriate arguments done in the dining room area in front of the customers really brings down the atmosphere and vibe of the entire restaurant . All in all great food sometimes and proper quick service also but not my greatest recommendation for weekend dining . read more
