    Kids burger and fries

Compared to most Torontonian brunch spots, this place was slightly underwhelming. The first impressions and deco was good, and the prices seemed reasonable. The fish and chips was honestly quite good and everyone in the party was fighting for a bite. Burger and fries for kids were pretty good, too. However, some of the other items were lackluster. The eggs Benedict flavour was off (according to friend who always orders EB at brunch) , the pancakes were just not fluffy, the oil on the home fries tasted "old" - a major turnoff for me. I'd say as long as you steer clear of the aforementioned menu items and order their fish and chips, fries and burgers, you'll likely enjoy the meal. We'll likely return to try again next time we're in town.

Went here the first day after the lockdown. I was pretty excited to be back out and in a restaurant again. This was my first time here and I was pretty impressed. It had a real diner feel. The staff were super nice right from when we waked in. We went for breakfast. I had a classic bacon and egg breakfast. The eggs were excellent, and the potatoes were decent. The toast could have been warmer, and it would have been nicer to have the butter on the toast melted. I would go back again and try some other items.

Great service, clean, spacious, great food for the price and good quantity! Would definitely come again.

This was a cool little place and the last place we had breakfast before crossing the border back to New York. It was recommended to us by someone local, and I'm so glad they told us about it. It was busy, but we were lucky to get a seat and enjoy a nice brunch before heading back to the states. The food and coffee were excellent, and the service was with a smile. The whole place had the kitch of an old diner, and was small and cozy. I seem to remember the coffee being excellent as well. It certainly the kind of place I'd go to all the time if I lived nearby.

This place was by far the best place to eat in town. It is a small ole town feel diner. You walk in and the people are so nice and polite. You seat yourself, which was nice because you have the say in where your positioned. The coffee came right out with the waitress which was extremely nice. I ordered the bread pudding French toast. Look at the picture because it was three giant pieces of toast. I could not even finish them. They had the best taste I had ever had in French toast. My wife ordered the eggs Benedict, I am not a fan but when I tasted these I was hooked. They did such a superb job in our meal that this became one of my favorite places to eat while on travel. My daughter had the egg, bacon, and home fries. Normally she eats a few bites and calls it good. This time she ate majority and truly enjoyed it. This is a must stop if in the Niagara area. You have to enjoy a little bit of time with what seems like a family business that allows everyone to be apart. The prices were fair and the meals were huge. Don't miss it!!

French toast with fruit on left, French toast with strawberries, bananas, nutella on right and triple threat on bottom with pancakes.

Local diner. Old school diner style. Under Covid restrictions, only has 8 tables. Menu is standard variety for breakfast. Prices are about 30% less than Coras. Dishes are better quality than Cora's. We had French toast with strawberries, bananas and nutella- excellent. Triple threat = 3 eggs, 3 bacon, home fries, 2 toast, 3 pancakes, $12.99, pancakes were one of the best I ever had, crispy. Pancakes don't look like traditional pancakes, but taste better. Look dry but are far from it. French toast with fruit. For toast, lots of choices- Italian, rye, white , wheat, English muffin, challah. Traditional breakfast = 2 eggs, coice of ham, bacon, sausage, home fries, toast $8.50. All fruit were very fresh. Served nice and hot. Away from tourists. All locals, except my party. Lots of breakfast sandwiches- very big portions. Also serve burgers too.

Went there this morning for a quick bite of breakfast. I order the Breakfast Speacial - 2 eggs, sausage, home fries and egg bread with Coffee. 7.50 for the breakfast...a little on the high side but seams to be the norm for a 5.99 breakfast these days. I would like to see that with included coffee which a lot of the competition is doing, but whatever. The food was good, service was good and best of all it's quite. Unlike Marcel's which you can't even think to yourself it's so loud. I recommend as an alternative to the Queens which seems to be sliding downhill.

Went to Triple D's for breakfast and it was the essential diner breakfast, good fresh hot coffee and the food was not only good quality but very tasty. Didn't have the special but one of our group did and for $2.50 well worth it. Great food, great service, great coffee. Worth a visit.

For drinks, my wife and I each grabbed a bottle of Rickard's. They serve it in a frosted glass which is a nice touch, but... the price was pretty wild. Paying around $9-$11 for a bottle/can felt a bit excessive. We started with the Broccoli Cheese Poppers, which we've ordered at other spots before since they're usually vegetarian-friendly (my wife is pescatarian). I thought they were really tasty, but unfortunately my wife had almost finished one before realizing there was bacon inside...and it wasn't listed on the menu. When we asked to confirm, it was pretty disappointing. She was understandably upset, especially since she's been pescatarian for over 10 years. It would've gone a long way if they at least took it off the bill, but they didn't, and that definitely hurt the overall experience. For mains, I ordered JJ's Meatloaf; really solid dish. The mashed potatoes were a highlight, veggies were cooked nicely, and everything had great flavour. Only downside was the bun that came with it got pretty soggy. My wife ordered the Grilled Fish Panini; she liked it, not amazing, but good. The fish was fresh and flaky, and the bread had a nice garlic bread vibe. Overall, it's a decent spot with good food and a nice setting, but the beer prices and the issue with the unlisted bacon definitely took away from the experience. Driving down a gravel pathway through the property to get to a mostly unmarked black building. There was an unmarked door that blended into the side of the building with a welcome sign sticking out. Already so intriguing and very elusive feeling! We headed up the stairs and were warmly greeted by the host who led us through the dining area to our table in the corner. The ambience of the dining room was very minimalistic yet rustic and warm. Perfectly designed to look out of the window to the rest of the property. Our waiter alex along with the rest of the well equipped and knowledgeable staff were excellent at guiding us through the meticulously crafted 10 course meal. We added the cheese course in between main course and desserts, fabulous addition. Honestly too many great things to list. From Lobster from Nova Scotia to hearty sourdough baked right down the street, to marinated raspberries on top of a finely crafted dessert. On top of most everything locally grown. The amount of flavor we experienced was incredible. We opted out of doing the wine pairing and tried out a few of their cocktails instead - Manhattan, vesper martini, pineapple weed daiquiri - all fantastic. I will be dreaming about this for a while!
