Good standard breakfast fare. Sausages were extraordinarily smooth. Servers were very attentive and friendly. Super cute diner with old jukeboxes at each booth and retro decor.

Loved the ambience, and had a super sweet waitress who recommended a gorgeous walk back to the touristy side of town by following the river. The food was delicious, and the very large 4524 special was enough for 2 people to have as a whole breakfast and we shared with 2 other family members. I would definitely go back!

Wonderful service and awesome food!! Our server, Nikita, was super friendly and her recommendation of the Notorious BGB Poutine was on par- Not to mention this by far was the best cup of Canadian coffee I've had since visiting your country!!!! Thanks for being so welcoming!!!

New York steak was a bit over cooked and lacked some seasoning, but for the price it was well worth. About ~$12

I asked the waitress if the cheese could be melted & was told there was really no way to do it. It could be put under a heat lamp but that would take some time. We have asked for our eggs this way at other establishments and never received them like this. The bacon was floppy & needed to be cooked more. My daughter loves pancakes, but she wouldn't eat the ones here. I tasted them, and they were very dense, and tasted like they were from a not-so-great boxed mix. The sausage was good, as was the homemade strawberry jam, and the staff was great, but we won't be returning to any Stacks restaurants.

I pluses up my pancakes with Nutella and bananas for $1.99 and that was well worth it! The service was great and friendly . Fast efficient team service model that worked perfectly. Our food was delivered hot and our coffee cups were never empty.

It had a mixture of locals and tourists, with the locals being the majority. They were all welcomed in by name. Be prepared for a long wait. Lol you're advised of this when entering and with signage around the restaurant. There's a very limited menu. After getting our coffee (and a couple refills), the Chef yelled over asking what we wanted. Very casual. Well our breakfast were not only reasonably priced($6.99 canadian) but also huge. All made to order down to the potatoes being cut up individually with each order. Crazy as it sounds though was the Italian bread toast served with breakfast. It was outstanding! We even inquired where they purchased the bread and we made a stop there after finishing our breakfast. Overall, great food, reasonable prices, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be returning. 2023-97

You read those prices right! It's 2023 and yep, they're charging less than $7 for breakfast! While we were originally going to get bacon and ham, we were recommended the sausage and it didn't disappoint. Definitely a solid choice. Breakfast was hugely filling for a great price. Service felt like you were being welcomed into someone's home. I loved the charm of this place and that it had both character and good food- something you won't find at one of the 5 billion ihops within the two mile radius. Spare yourself a sub par breakfast somewhere else and come to Cippy's.

After 5pm Friday and throughout the weekend (as well as every bank holiday) street parking is free, in an attempt to lure customers. It's fair to say the neighborhood is, "in transition", but the blocks around this restaurant are lovely. Every shop is a small business owner, with none of the chain stores that plague downtown. We were seated immediately. The restaurant does breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and has a nice list of wines and coffees. Our waiter was very friendly and professional. The French press coffee was spectacular, and the Chantilly cream I ordered as a side was spritzed into my coffee cup with every refill. (I always say, "yes" to schlag Sahne!) The menu has about 12 choices of gallettes (savory) and 12 choices of crepes (sweet). Both are thin buckwheat pancakes with extensive, yummy fillings. It was hard to choose just one! I opted for the galette Thalassa, which is filled with a mesclun salad, cherry tomato halves, mandolined radish and cucumber and red onion strings, covered with lox, capers, a dab of sour cream and a teaspoon of black caviar. It was a feast! My husband had the galette Savoyard, with a scrambled egg and prosciutto. I can tell he liked it by his silence after it was put in front of him! We're thinking of cancelling other plans tomorrow to come here again!

My spouse had the hanger steak with eggs benedict sitting on a bed of fries and an arugula salad with dressing next to it, and a wonderful sauce with mushrooms and little pearl onions on the steak. And yes of course we had dessert. A crepe with chocolate and salted butter- simple but fabulous. They have lots of savory and sweet Crepes to choose from. The buffet is exactly what you expect (except no waffles, just pancakes?) I did avoid the flat eggs, they were just always rubbery and dry. The drink glasses can be difficult to get to as well. But you get fruits, yogurts, bacon, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, even a salsa bar thing. Good convenient way to fill up if you are already at the hotel. You don't really get a clear falls view with the trees that low, but you still see the river and it's better than 90% of any hotel view you can find for breakfast. The lady there went out of her way to make me feel right at home, as if I was having breakfast in someone's house. One thing you should make sure of, is either bring Canadian cash, American cash, or a Canadian debit card. They don't accept credit cards or American debit.
