I took my silk bias wedding gown and it was an emergency alteration where they took the bust seams with darts out and back zipper taken in-- all in a week for me. I can't say enough good things about Na and David. I originally found them on TikTok and just knew I had to come in and I'm so glad I did. They altered my suit and it fits absolutely perfectly, like it was custom made for me. They took their time with the pinning process and were super detail-oriented, making sure every part was adjusted to my liking. You can really tell they care about their craft and about getting the fit perfect, not rushing through it. On top of that, they're incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. Updating my review as I had two very important gowns tailored at Triple Alteration this month and I wanted to give them another shout out and thank them!! I had a very pricey (Alexander McQueen) gown that was about 2-3 sizes too big on me. It was heavily sequined so it required a lot of work. I also was very worried that it might not turn out right. When I received a call that it was ready, I tried it on and it was absolutely beautiful! I also asked if they can just sew the remaining fabric instead of cutting it to leave room for me if I gain weight so that I can wear it in the future. While it could have been easier for them to just cut it, he actually listened to me and left it intact!! For my second gown (Marc Jacobs), the bow was a bit too big so I had them reduce the size of the bow and also hem the length. This also turned out nice and I was really satisfied!! As I mentioned in my previous review, our whole family has been going to Triple Alteration Cleaners for over 15 years, or for as long as I can remember. Even as a kid, I was getting my pants hemmed and so did my parents and brothers. My brothers lost a lot of weight so now they're going to take in a lot of their clothes. It's the only place we can trust, especially for the higher end designer pieces. You really don't want to risk taking your more expensive clothes to somewhere that's going to make a mistake or do a horrible job. From anything formal like suits, dresses, pants, jackets to even casual items like jeans, they pay great attention to detail to make sure you're completely satisfied. They do such a great job too!! The prices are very reasonable and the owners are so sweet. They always welcome you and take time to listen to you when you have special requests!! Came here to get a dress and a suit dry cleaned for myself and my husband and they told me that they don't dry clean! The man who works here told me this while standing underneath a massive sign that says "dry cleaners". Very confused why they would tell me they do not dry clean when they are a dry cleaning/alteration business. Needed my dress hemmed for an upcoming wedding and decided to check this place out based on the reviews. Mom and pop shop located in the ktown area. The owners speak very little English but we were able to still come to an understanding of what my needs were. I tried on the dress at the store and the gentleman helped me find the right dress length for the shoes I planned to wear for the wedding. I was quoted a very reasonable price compared to other places I called in the same area. My dress was ready within 1 week (which I had asked for) with no issues when I picked it up. Omg so glad I found this place! I needed my costume to be altered at the last minute and they were able to do it in time. Before coming here, i visited another place that i go to but they are overpriced compared to what i had in mind. Its a one time costume so I didnt need it to be neat, professionally, properly done. I just wanted an easy method fix, could care less if perfect or not but this place understood what I needed at the moment and fast too. Of course they do really well professionally as well but at least they lay out ALL the possible options that best suits you and not trying to upsell by saying the most expensive way is the ONLY way of getting it fixed. OH MY GOSH I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I had to get my prom dress hemmed due to it being too long and so I looked up multiple alteration centers nearby. I first went to the nearest alteration place, Golden Finger(?) and the owner had asked for $60.. so my mom and I decided that it was TOO expensive for a one time dress and we left. So we went to Triple Alteration Cleaners, the second nearest alteration center. I asked if it would be possible to do because there are two layers to my dress. They said yes and for a VERY reasonable price, $40!!! I am sososo thankful to the owners because they were very friendly and they got the job done correctly! Unassuming shop with a talented tailor with decades of experience This is a small dry cleaning and alteration shop behind a somewhat neglected storefront and signage belying the talents and experience inside. A very soft-spoken husband and wife team run the shop and have been doing so for at least two-plus decades, and their alterations are top notch. The tailor, Mr. Na, take his work seriously and will not mince words in telling you (in Korean, though) whether it's worth spending the money on the alteration and what can and can't be done. His prices are fair, but they're not the cheapest in town. It is also a small one-man shop, so I wouldn't expect things to be turned around quickly, though you can always inquire if you need things done in a hurry. Things I've had tailored here: - Started with hemming pants, both slacks and jeans, to see turnaround times, price, and quality - Moved on to business suits that needed alterations because of having lost some weight, which ranged from skirt suits from Theory and Banana Republic to pricier pant suits from Paul Smith. Jackets and skirts needed to be sized down (jackets' sides and skirt waistband and skirt curve adjusted), and they all turned out beautifully. - A pricey Tumi backpack that needed the straps shortened because they don't just do clothing. - Most recently, a suit from Indochino, a men's online custom suit-making service, that I re-tailored to fit me (female) with the help of Mr. Na, because I was looking for a slightly more economical way to custom make a three-piece tweed suit. The work required for this outfit included: moving the suit jacket buttons/openings to the opposite side, all-over adjustments to the vest (shortening the length, reducing the sides), adjusting the seat and rise of the pants - no small feat, considering it took two separate visits and fittings. $500 for Indochino semi-custom suit, $125 for all the alterations = now looks like a $1500 piece because it's tailored to fit specifically me. If you're the kind of person who has a penchant for designer clothes and need just the right adjustments but you're peculiar and don't want just any seamstress/tailor, you should absolutely stop by. As mentioned, it's a very sparsely decorated and unassuming shop. Fair warning that there may be some minor communication issues and that parking can be a little tough around lunchtime, but it's worth the trouble. read more
