I've been here many times for different occasions and have always been extremely satisfied. I used to live just a couple of blocks away and had several pieces altered. I had three pairs of dress pants taken in 2+ inches at the waist ($25 each in 2023) and all of them now fit perfectly, and you'd never be able to tell where the alterations were made. I also brought in two dresses to be taken in ($40-$80), one with a lace overlay and invisible zipper, and the everything was so seamless that the alterations are completely unnoticeable. I've since moved more than 40 minutes away, but I continue to come back because I trust their work. Recently, I needed a pair of jeans taken in over two inches at the waist and at first, went to a tailor near me, but they warned it might look bulky and quoted $40. I decided to make the drive to LA instead, and for the same price, the jeans now fit perfectly. The only visible sign of alteration is slightly darker fabric where the belt loops were moved. 10/10 -- would recommend. read more

The husband and wife couple who run this place are absolutely amazing! They are so nice and very pleasant to interact with. I needed 4 dresses to be altered. The dresses needed to be taken in basically everywhere(one dress was basically turned into a new dress) so it wasn't just a hem. When I tried the dresses on, they really took their time to adjust and measure all the parts I wanted to change. I asked that only 1 dress be ready in a week and they could take their time with the others. When I went to pick up that one dress a week later, they had everything done! Each of those dresses needed a lot of altering so I was shocked that they were ready so quickly. All the alterations came out amazing!!! The quality of work they did was absolutely perfect. The price was very reasonable for what work needed to be done and it's worth every penny. I've already come back for 3 other dresses that need altering! They are now my go to alterations place. Here's what I do: I buy a good suit at a Zara or Banana Republic sale for $200. I take it to this lovely couple and have it fitted (not just cuffs and sleeves, they taper the legs and tighten the silhouette of the jacket--I'm a slim guy) for $150. So for $350 bucks I have what looks like a $1000 bespoke suit. I've had three suits done over the last few years, linen and wool. Word of advice, though: a lot of people love them as well, so take in your items a couple of weeks before you need them! read more
