She was amazing.. kind, patient, super knowledgeable and even made time to give me a consultation even though I wasn't even scheduled. Just in case any friends are looking for and orthodontist. This Dr treated me when I was 14 and then again at 23 after my jaw and teeth moved from a fractured jaw. He then treated my niece and my daughter. I can't recommend him enough. He is honest, compassionate. Here are some before and after pics. A missuing adult tooth, that they replicated so her smile wouldn't have a missing tooth during treatment...jaw issues. You name it. I am very disappointed with the billing practices of Trinity Orthodontics. My daughter wanted to get braces so we paid our portion of the bill which was $2500.00 up front. My daughter decided not to go through with it so I notified the billing/finance person Mary. She told me she would contact my daughter to she if she could change her mind. This went on for over a year with me calling to get some percentage of a refund. Nothing happened and finally Mary told me it was too late to get a refund. Not only did I not get a refund but I also found out they billed my insurance $5,000.00. The insurance is investigating it now. Just wanted people to know who they are dealing with. read more

DON'T come here. DISHONEST. Rude office manager. Hard to believe to believe they call themselves a Christian business. They literally have scriptures posted in the office and offer a bible as a gift during the consultation. So I brought my daughter here for braces. She had minor straightening that needed to be done. They scheduled her for braces and said they would need to be on 18 months to 2 years. After 1 year, they said she was done and took them off. Once off they made her retainers. She was told to wear them at night, which she did. She would remove them in the morning but by the end of the day, her 2 middle bottom teeth would start to go crooked again. At night, they would straighten again. Weird. So about 6 weeks after she got the braces off and we noticed this movement, I called Trinity and told them what was going on. They were adamant that this was normal and they told me to have her wear them 24 hrs a day for a week or so. She did that then went back to night time only. Same thing happened. So this was during the summer when we were very busy traveling so I didn't get around to calling again for a while. During one of my visits, I mentioned it again was told the same thing, it's normal, everyone is different, blah blah blah. Once our lives calmed down, after competition season was over, I knew I needed to talk to them again. So fast forward to January. On a Monday, 2 days before one of my appointments where I was going to talk to them again in person, we had a puppy who ate her retainer. So I go to my appointment and let them know she needs a new retainer. They sell me the insurance, $699 and say they can make her one. Then I talk to them about how her teeth keep moving and AGAIN, I was told that was normal, everyone teeth are different, when I disagreed that they should not move that much the gal kept arguing with me. Then I find out that they didn't have records for the retainer that was made at the end of the treatment. That means they would need to make a new impression. Problem with that is that everyday her bottom teeth moved, so now her teeth are crooked again. The tell me the only way to resolve is for them to put braces back on the lower 8 teeth at my cost of ANOTHER $1500 on top of the $699 I just paid for the retainer. Now, I don't have a problem paying for the retainer. The puppy ate them, clearly our fault, BUT they should have saved the records so they could make a new retainer without a new impression. I called other orthodontist who said they have everything they need to make retainers without a new impression. So when they told me we would have to foot the $1500 bill because they did not keep the records, I was not pleased. The office manager, Jamie came to talk to me. She was rude, adversarial, she basically called me a liar and said there was no way my daughter's teeth moved that quickly because she had braces and her teeth didn't move that much in 15 years. She kept talking over me and said the same thing as everyone else, that it's normal for teeth to move. She accused my daughter of not wearing the retainer which was absolutely false. She said that the $1500 was to cover the cost of the wires and technicians but we paid already for 18 month to 2 years and didn't get a discount when they took them off 6 months to 1 year early. The next option she gave me was that I could take the $699 I paid for the retainer insurance and put toward the cost of the braces but then I would be ineligible to get the insurance again so if she lost or puppy eats them again I would have to pay $600 for one set and any set thereafter instead of $100 All Jamie would do was argue with me about how this is our fault and we should have called, which I did and was totally blown off. I told Jamie I wanted to speak with the owner, Dr Nelson and she told me, Absolutely not, he won't talk to you about this. So, we are going somewhere else to get her teeth fixed, They get no more money from me. Scammers. Dishonest Company. read more

Every time we are in the orthodontist they have my daughter screaming in pain and crying. They told us one year and we are now going on 15 months. We were told they would come off today and when we came in the Dr. said she wasn't fitted for the retainer so another two months now. I have sat here in the waiting room and listened to my daughter scream out 4 times in 10 minutes. I wish we had chosen another orthodontist I had braces for 3 years and she is my third child in braces and I have never had an experience as bad a this one. read more

RUN AWAY FAST!!! They claim to be a diamond provider- but that just means they pump out QUANTITY over QUALITY. My Invisalign was BONDED to my teeth and had to be drilled out. Trays have jagged edges and cut up my whole mouth. They forgot to give me rubber bands and mailed them two weeks later in a crumpled envelope. The dental assistants actually didn't believe me when I came in crying in pain from the Invisalign being bonded to my teeth- they told me that I couldn't possibly be in pain and that I was faking it because there's "no way Invisalign is even a tiny bit painful". They waited 15 minutes before getting the dentist because they didn't believe me. They tried another tray (two weeks later) but then sent a letter telling me that they refused to work on me anymore- essentially forcing me to pay thousands to go to another office to finish my trays out. Forget about the incentives they promised in the beginning like the permanent trays and teeth whitening, I'll bet a pretty penny I never see them. By far least compassionate, least professional, and poorest quality office I've ever been in in my life. By the way- no private rooms for patients, they corral you in one room with like 10 chairs next to each other so you can get EXTRA anxiety. As if the dentist office wasn't already hard enough... save yourself a headache and "Jesus saves" speech from the employees and go to a real office that won't physically injure you. read more

I really can't say enough about Dr. Nelson. He is so kind and really cares, not just about your smile, but about your life too. He always checks in with me at every appointment. His staff is also so friendly and they always remember my name. Both of my kids are genetically missing several adult teeth and Dr. Nelson came up with a plan that will save us, and them, thousands of dollars down the road. I hope this YELP! review passes into your "ears", just as confidently. Their EXCELLENT customer service by the staff was a wonderful 1st impression. Take note ALL business, your front desk and ancillary staff is huge for good initial impressions. Dr. Nelson was great. He shared his knowledge and experience openly as he evaluated both our kids for future braces. Dr. Nelson is not your normal orthodontist. This man specializes in craniofacial structure and proper bite alignment...meaning he's not in the business of just straightening teeth. He wants to not only straighten teeth but make sure a child OR adult has proper bite and jaw alignment. Many "factory orthodontics" are in the business of just grabbing a patient's money and put on braces to "straighten" teeth, without applying the expertise that Dr. Nelson has and applies. This brings me to another point about this practice. Their motto is "You shall do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord." Deut. 6:18 - They actually apply to their practice, what they preach. This is HUGE in healthcare. And personally if I find any person or business that applies these principles...I'm there. Dr. Nelson is not just an excellent orthodontist, he's an amazing person. We have run into him a couple of times outside of the office and he is so genuine and friendly and engaging with my boys, it's nothing short of awe inspiring! He's taken a very conservative approach with my oldest son, eliminating the need for braces all together so far. The entire office staff is probably the nicest I have ever been to. He is currently treating my middle son for his obstructive sleep apnea from a broken nose/deviated septum from when he was 2. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about OSA and the effects on children and has done an amazing job treating my young son! I highly, highly recommend Dr. Nelson and his staff! I love my orthodontist! I have the high tech custom braces, and I love them! He really takes time with you, to see how things are going, and you see Dr. Nelson at every visit! :) I'm an adult and my bite, and teeth were so crooked, and messed up! I've had my braces for 2 years, and they're looking awesome! And as an added tip, if you have the cash to pay upfront do it! I saved nearly 800 dollars by paying upfront! Excellent standards of care and Dr Brian is highly knowledgeable and committed to his clients. The office is friendly and maintains strong clinical structure. I appreciate the snacks and coffee always available when we are running to an after school appt. Fair price for the high standards of care. He is quick to remind clients when they are falling behind on oral care or lax in wearing rubber bands but this is appreciated in the long run as treatment time is kept on track and beautiful smiles emerge.
