Enter Lafayette Dental Excellence. Dr. Leo, Jane, Mary, and Barb are everything I'd hoped to find, but never thought I would. Dr. Leo excels in the traits I value most in a dentist: patience, attention to detail, and outstanding knowledge of the most up-to-date advances in dentistry - in addition to foundational knowledge from experience, of course. Oh and, of equal import, compassion for my terror of anything remotely related to dental issues. Dr. Leo's assistant, Jane, could not be more kind and efficient. Mary, the office manager, is incredibly knowledgeable as well, so kind (must be a prerequisite for the office), and just fun to talk to - even in the midst of a painful dental emergency. Insurance can be scary and uncertain, and as a patient I want to know (1) what the procedure is going to cost, and (2) if there's uncertainty around costs, what they are, and how they might be resolved.
