Dr. Melcher is an excellent Orthodontist! I echo many of the same things in other reviews. The office staff make you feel like part of the family from the moment you walk in the door and couldn't make the whole process simpler. Dr Melcher has a wonderful knowledge base with excellent skills. He developed well thought out plans for both my children and explained his thought process clearly. The office runs like a well oiled machine keeping everyone on schedule and accomodating almost every scheduling issue school aged children can throw at them. One of the most professional medical service offices in Boulder county! My both children have been going through orthodontist procedure for the last two years. Dr Melcher is very knowledgeable and experienced, he is nice to work with, has wonderful suggestions, works hard for achieving best results, and is attentive to details. Dr. Melcher was recommended by our new dentist who we love. This was our second child who needed braces. Our older child had a great orthodontist who retired. In addition to the convenient location near our home, it seemed as if we went in for adjustments less often than for my older child. The results have been just as good and I love the glued-in lower retainer which will be much, much easier to comply with than removable bottoms. We had an easy payment plan that was affordable and significantly less than our other orthodontist. read more

Dr. Melcher was my orthodontist as a kid and now he is treating my children. He is warm, friendly, professional, and has the best staff around! My daughter had to have an expander and four braces over the course of 18 months.
