I know I have a long way to go but today I celebrate 27 bs since the pre-op diet / 22 lbs since PO weigh in. I am currently 12 days post op.
I could not of done this without my new tool - thank you so much Rick for walking me through the process and making sure I was comfortable, answering all of my questions, driving me to Trinity Medical, introducing me to the staff and being there by my side every step of the way.
The staff at Trinity Medical were all super nice and helpful and extremely diligent at checking to make sure everything was going well.
Doctor Luis Pasten did an amazing job on my surgery leaving minimal evidence :)
With the diet that Rick laid out for me I was not only prepared for surgery but we was absolutely right - my recovery was extremely fast. Other patients were still looking as though death was right around the corner on the 3rd day out. I snapped back the very next day.
The only lingering affect was being tired (slept 2 straight days after coming home and had to take cat naps every other hour for the first 3 days of work)
My energy is now back up and I am able to join the family again for dinners.
4 bites into a meal and I am stuffed lol I love it.
My boyfriend has gone from non-supportive, to we'll see to planning out my tummy tuck so he can be there with me while being envious of how little it takes to fill me.
For the first time in 20 years the idea of weighing what I weighed before I became pregnant is now a reality.
I have done Atkins, Nutri system, Weight Watchers, Atkins, Low Carb, prescription diet pills, cycling, regular gym trips and NOTHING has worked. The most I ever lost before this was 45 lbs.
My family is also learning to eat healthier and smaller potions while helping me through my journey.
So in short...
