The last 2 orders I did not get what I paid for. I weighed each package of meat I received and half of the meat I ordered was a good 4-5 ounces less than the 16 ounces they said you are paying for. Each serving of meat was around 2-3 ounces instead of the 4 ounces it is supposed to be. I also just received a new order in which I got meat that I did not order. This service costs too much to be dealing with these types of mistakes. read more

i ordered Trifecta based upon a recommendation by one of their paid influencers Janna Breslin. when i signed up it was a little complicated because of their poor customer service department. Let me explain, their customer service does not actually have anyone working it. when you first call in its an automated system that pretends to direct you towards an actual person but its fake! after holding for a while you are directed to leave a message and you would get a call back in 24 hours. I was usually called back within 24 hours but Trifecta does not have any trained staff and they are definitely not professional. They actually had one guy who started every sentence with "hey", can you imagine trying to talk with a guy that has no professional experience and saying "hey" 50 times within a 5 minute conversation (not an exaggeration). Poorly trained and poorly executed customer service leads to failure in every instance. i currently get my prepared meals from FRESHLY, night and day difference on customer service, so professional! Freshly is also very flexible on meal selection, allowing me to order from their full selection. Trifecta, has limited choices and prefers to surprise their customers with whatever they send. I prefer to order the best selections from Trifecta but they did not have that flexibility, Freshly does. i would highly recommend Freshly to anyone who is frustrated with Trifecta read more

I've been using this service for about a month or so now. I'm currently on their clean meal plan, and the variety of flavors and quality are really awesome. Prior to Trifecta I was with another company that gave huge portions of almost no flavor, whereas now the portions are perfect and I am now hitting my macros fairly consistently, and have dropped about 12 pounds in the time I started using Trifecta. I started with 5 days a week and have since upgraded to 7 days as I don't really feel I need "cheat" meals due to the flavors and variety I am getting. I would definitely encourage anyone looking to control their food to look at Trifecta and the different plans they offer. It's well worth it. read more

Trifecta Nutrition was such a great purchase, as a college student I have struggled with maintaining a great diet so I turned to a meal prep company and WOW was this awesome. The food is super tasty and does not break the bank. Not only does is it great pricing and healthy it was also delicious. The food is not the only thing you are paying for the service is very handy and its super simple to order. I am definitely going to continue to use Trifecta. read more

Being a busy college student, and trying to stay healthy, this place is awesome. Great tasting foods, and great options. The food has a lot of flavor, and the services were excellent. I am really impressed with trifecta nutrition and will definitely go back. read more

The good......love the packaging! Love how easy it is to cook. My package came on time which according to some reviews is a feat. The bad.....is the food. I was looking forward to this & so far the food has been bland, dry, & not as advertised on the package. I subscribed to the vegetarian/vegan meals. I had the beyond meat sweet & spicy meal which was neither. Just tasted weird. The second meal was the Buffalo Mac & cheese......not Buffalo at all nor cheesy. Which I know vegetarians/vegans aren't supposed to eat cheese however, there is such thing as vegan cheese made from cashews. Why not put that in it?! The meal I just had today was the red pepper infused pasta. It was bitter, DRY, & omg has it done a number on my belly! The food is sub par. Please address this! I would love to keep ordering from your company but what is coming in the deliveries isn't going to keep me or from what I read in other reviews, anybody else. read more

This food is amazing and I am a very picky eater. Just toss in the microwave for 3 minutes and you have a deliciously healthy meal at your finger tips. read more

There customer service is horrible so I can only imagine the meals they prepare. I asked to order 7 days worth of meals but I did not want it to be a reoccurring order and that I would decide if I wanted to reorder. They said I could skip weeks, I explained I did not want to skip weeks just wanted to simply order 1 weeks worth of meals. I got no response and was simply ignored. I will find company that has good customer service and wants to accommodate there customers. read more

Yes, I'm a fan of Trifecta meal delivery. Their paleo meals have helped me loose 15lbs. and I never felt better, and at the sometime eating delicious foods like salmon, chicken breast, and steak with the healthiest of vegetables. Yay! read more

I tried the a la carte menu for about 2 months. A la carte was appealing because I wanted to be strict about my macros. If you're not strict about macros, then my #1 below won't matter, but #2 will. Generally, the food was good. Chicken was tender, steak was exceptional, fish was good (salmon and basa) and shrimp was great once, but mushy and mealy the next. Ground beef was ok. Turkey patty was not so good. Delivery was timely and the food was packed really well, so it stayed cold. They basically build a styrofoam cooler inside a cardboard box. They pack the food in the styrofoam with tons of ice packs. My building has a refrigerator at reception, so my box was put into the fridge shortly after delivery. I had 2 problems: #1- A la carte food is advertised and even labeled as plain, i.e. no oil or butter. On more than one occasion, broccoli and quinoa tasted like butter was added and chicken was oily. #2 - Some food seemed spoiled, i.e. brocolli from 2 separate orders tasted acidic and I think I got sick from the chicken once... not sure. I noticed that sometimes the vacuum pack wasn't tight. I let Trifecta know about my issues. Regarding #1, they said they never use butter and only small amounts of cooking oil. Regarding #2, they told me to throw out the spoiled food and they refunded me. They also put my subscription on hold when I had had enough. UPDATE: 8/22 just tried the newly delivered shrimp and it's spoiled.... maybe it's just tough to ship in the summer? Vacuum seal seemed a little iffy.... read more

Love This product - I have special dietary guidelines & the meats are wonderful!! Very affordable too if you count shopping, preperation, and cooking time. I also only buy certified humane meats- so Trifecta offers it all in a delicious, healthy, and convenient package!!! read more

I love trifecta, very accurate macros and the food tastes great. However the delivery system is terrible! They use FedEx and it always gets delayed, some packages are lost/damaged. I wish they could figure out their distribution because the actual food is top-notch. read more

Easy, healthy, filling and delicious. Perfect for work lunch, or dinner when the other half is away. The price is a bit high for me personally, but I feel it's fair. read more

Meals were good, not great, but better than most made meals on the market. My biggest issue is that I hate broccoli and almost every meal had it, there is no way to select meals and deselect meals that you may not like. If you were able to see a menu that had more selections, breakfast, lunch and dinner meals, I would say this meal plan would be great. I like that this meal plan is pretty low cal compared to most on the market and is real food, no processed crap! read more

Trifecta is a great meal plan service. It's not cheap, but if you go to the grocery store to buy quality vegetables and protein, you'll still spend some money - and then you'll also have to prepare it. For busy professionals, a meal service like this saves many hours a week, and I don't have to measure and count calories anymore. They even have an app you can use to stay on track. read more

I am not a picky eater but some of this food is just not at all good. Some is better than others. I began with the Paleo and found that the vegetable portions were all very very similar and a sort of gruel-like mix of vegetables that were not identifiable. They were not at all appetizing to look at. The entree portions were very dry and sometimes spongey. In addition, there is very little taste at all. I found myself covering things with red pepper just to get them down since I had paid so much for them. I thought maybe just a bad week so the second week I tried the Classic meals thinking the vegetables looked more identifiable from the pictures and thinking I could pick what I got. The chicken tenders were not edible and I threw them out. The mixed vegetables were the same in every one of the meals--lots of carrots, broccoli, bell peppers and squash. In addition because there is a minimum of $119 on the classic meal plan I had to order additional items so I picked from the a la carte menu. One item I picked from here was the muffins. These were the tiniest things I have ever seen. I also got the ahi tuna and it was extremely bad in texture with no taste at all. I covered it in some tartar sauce just to get it down. The flat-iron steak was overcooked and very tough. I ended up throwing out half of it. I really wanted to like this place but just do not think the quality justifies the price. If you are vegan, try Hungry Root. They have a lot more variety and their sauces are wonderful to cook with as they always send you extra. I am not vegan but I tried it and love the flavorful meals. The price is $79/week and you get a great deal more variety. read more

I started Trifecta two weeks ago and I absolutely love it! I am on the clean meal plan and so far all of my food has been delicious! I am getting lunches and dinners so I will generally get duplicates of the meals, but that is not a problem since I can mix and match them throughout the week. I only had one small issue with the hard boiled eggs, but after emailing their customer service they promptly refunded my money for that part of the order. The food is ready to heat up and I have found it extremely helpful to have ready to eat food whenever I need it. If I had any feedback it would be to allow users to see what food they will be receiving each week and allow for reviews of each meal to see what meals may need some adjustments. Otherwise, Trifecta is on point! read more

Trifecta meals are truly Ahhhmazing!! They come packaged as promised and always on time. It's like Christmas everytime I open the box.. I was excited to find what appeared to be an affordable organic meal service that was gluten free. I have celiac disease and so gluten is a deal breaker. I ordered Vegan the first week because that is my preference. When I unpacked the box, I discovered that they had sent me 7 identical breakfasts of oatmeal. I tried it two days in a row with different types of "milks" and ended up throwing all of it away as it was just plain inedible in taste and texture. Of the 14 vegan meals, two were decent, but nothing to write home about. The rest bordered on awful. And there were five dishes with Beyond Meat, which is a chemical soup fake meat. Why would an organic meal company think that is healthy? The different dishes all tasted the same, like they were all cooked with the same seasonings with a strong vinegar aftertaste. I complained to customer service about the oatmeal and switched to their "Clean" menus thinking that maybe Vegan was too confining. So, yes, they just sent me 7 more oatmeal breakfasts of the identical type!!! And I tried one of the "Clean" dinners just now. It was terrible with the same after "taste" as the Vegan food from last week and accompany indigestion. Somehow they manage to wreck good organic food. When I warm up the meals they leave the same smell in my house as the bad taste. It is nauseating. Sadly, I will have to gag down the meals this week as I don't have money to waste. But, I wont be ordering from these folks in the future. read more

Sorry for anyone else who has had issues here but I think they're a great company. My wrist broke in June so I had a hard time cooking without burning myself or the house down so I decided to try them since I had a discount code. Did the Paleo meals and ordered 7 per week. Meals came on time as ordered and still relatively cool in the hot Texas summer for about 8 weeks. Tasted great and I liked the variety. Cancelling with them was easy though I did have to speak to someone in chat since they never confirmed my cancellation after I emailed them though they had cancelled it at that time. I highly recommend them and they make everything easy. Really responsive customer service, especially on their community Facebook page. read more

Trifecta fits perfectly with my eating habits and my routine. The meals are delivered every week, perfectly packaged and portioned. I follow the Keto plan, and these meals are pre-made to follow the plan, so there's no thought or prep on my part. I choose to microwave my meal, and within 3 minutes, my complete meal is ready to eat. No mess, nothing to clean up except my utensils. The quality of the food is excellent. Everything tastes freshly made, and very flavorful. Trifecta is very creative with getting the right amount of calories, protein, fat, and carbs in the meal. Chicken Parmesan, Beef Stroganoff, Chili con Carne, sesame beef, just a few to mention that are customized to remain low carb, high protein. Some surprising and delicious variations include: walnuts, walnut oil, almonds, green olives, spaghetti squash to take place of simple carbs. Not to mention all organic ingredients. I highly recommend to anyone who wants simple pre-made meals which follow your chosen meal plan. read more

Amazing company! Great price, quality of food, fast shipping, care when shipping, the company is extremely top notch on customer service. The value of this food service is dynamite. If I was to go to the grocery store and prepare all this food myself, it would cost a lot more, because organic ingredients are pricey for individual ingredients I most likely won't use right away such as an $8 jar of mayonnaise, and doing my own prep would take a lot of time (from the grocery store shopping, to the kitchen prep, cooking and cleaning). I don't have time to do all the food tasks I listed before, I work a lot, I go to the gym, I am always busy. I really like how I get to try new recipes, that taste really good, I get the keto dinner meals, saves me time from figuring out recipes and tracking down all the ingredients myself. I really like the grass fed beef and other organic ingredients, I like the wild caught fish. I have lost a 25 lbs on my weight loss journey, about half-way to my goal weight, thanks to trifecta keto meals. The shipping of my meals is great, they use freezer packs to keep the food from perishing. I really like how I can save time in the morning before work and grab a keto trifecta meal to go with me, which I can heat at work, and I have stopped buying fast food and other crap from the deli at my local grocery stores when it comes time for lunch, because I have a healthy trifecta meal ready for me. In the end trifecta is a great deal, beyond fair, I don't see myself ending my subscription anytime soon, perhaps I will increase my amount of meals I get if anything. Thank you Trifecta for great business transactions and more to come. read more

Trifecta is very convenient and they provide amazing meals. It is super easy to adjust my meal plan as needed, and customer service was top notch when I encountered a personal problem. I always thought how nice it would be to have a personal chef to prepare healthy, tasty meals, and so when a friend recommended Trifecta, I decided to give it a try as the next best alternative. The Trifecta meals have exceeded my expectations and have given me exactly what I was looking for from a personal chef. I really enjoy the meals and am thrilled with how easy it is to have healthy, delicious, nutritious meals with so little effort. I am somewhat of a picky eater but so far have enjoyed every meal from Trifecta that I've had. I highly recommend giving them a try. They also provide lots of tips and resources for helping you achieve whatever goals you have. They're customer service is also excellent. This company is extremely strict with their delivery date. Extremely unaccommodating when it comes to costumer services practices that we grow to love and support in this day and age such as Costco, Amazon, Nordstrom and so on. They called themselves the largest delivery service of organic food, yet claim to have no control over the food being produced location, or inability to stop delivery for special circumstances. They claim you can stop delivery by going through Fedex, but that is not true when they send the food the same day. There is no turning back. I had this service for 1 week and the following week was a complete, stressful mess. They were not willing to help me find a solution on their end so I would not have food sitting in my front door for the whole weekend. The food is super simple, nothing out of extraordinary, cheaper made at home, and the amount of packaging and plastic it's not where it should be in a World that is facing an overwhelming issue with plastic particles all over the Oceans and landfills. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE to say the very least. read more

I subscribed to the keto meal plan for three meals a day. It seems the only breakfast option in that plan is a frittata, which is the worst tasting frittata I've ever had. Despite the small portion size, I couldn't finish it due to texture and lack of flavor. Lunch and dinner options weren't much better. Chicken breasts had skin on, which normally doesn't bother me, but these also had weird texture. There's just poor flavor in these meals and while I appreciate they are supposedly using quality ingredients, it doesn't compensate. I'm not normally a picky eater but I couldn't finish most meals. Also most of my meals had cauliflower, which again is fine, but half the meal was cauliflower and it was disappointing to see the lack of variety in vegetables used. For $16/meal, I don't want to be throwing away any of the meal let alone most of it due to it's unpalatability. Also if you're thinking you can take these on the go and microwave them, you'll need a knife or pair of kitchen scissors to take with you because the plastic cover doesn't peel off. I tried heating the meals multiple ways to see if it improved the flavor and didn't find a difference. I emailed customer service to cancel the subscription but unfortunately I ended up with a second week of meals I didn't want. Customer service was ok, but the rep was a bit condescending in the email and tried to get me to go a la carte, which I wasn't interested in. For the price, this just isn't worth it. read more

My husband and I tried Factor 75, Pete's Paleo and Trifecta Paleo for 2 weeks each and Trifecta was by far the least favorable. However, if you don't care as much about flavor and variety as you do about hitting your macros, then Trifecta might be for you. Each meal is pretty consistent, just flavorless and boring. Factor 75 was cheaper and yummier, but the nutrition content was all over the place, and most of their meals either have dairy or some kind of grain. Pete's Paleo is the most delicious, most environmentally responsible and is what we've happily stuck with. Trifecta has this app for you to track your workouts and macros, but the 3 different Trifecta meals I tried to add weren't even in their database. You had to manually enter every meal. Their workouts were nothing special. Was a time suck, so I just kept using My Fitness Pal. I'd say, sign up for Pete's Paleo and follow Brooke Ence on Instagram. Best of both worlds. read more

I've tried a variety of meal prep companies, and will openly admit I am pretty picky and specific when it comes to the quality of my meals, and Trifecta became my ONLY I'll go. Meal prep delivery can be tricky, but they make it so I have nothing to worry about here! Their food is ALWAYS fresh, which again, can definitely be tough. Not only is it fresh and super clean (not seasoned crazy or leaving you with any of that to worry about), but it genuinely tastes SO good. I don't know how they get the flavor so great with so little extra seasonings! I am totally obsessed with their chicken, and the flavor of their both their cod and basa are so delish! The quality is top notch, but their customer service and the people that work for the company that I have interacted with on various questions or any little concerns are an absolute JOY. If / when there is a little mistake made, they are on it immediately and ALWAYS go out of their way to accommodate. I can't speak highly enough about everyone I have communicated with. Thank you so much for making my meals one less thing to worry about! ONLY WAY TO GO GUYS!!! read more

Not a good match for me. Lousy customer service. Hard to get someone on phone. I had asked that eggplant not be in my meals and it was anyway. Website says they update meals on site for next week every Friday - not true. Website said meals are delivered on Fridays, not true - delivery came on Saturday. They say food is organic, but who knows. Last I checked, potatoes were not Paleo, yet they are in meals. The meals are pretty boring - they all taste the same. I cancelled my subscription since there are so many other better options. read more

While our food hopes were much higher, we didnt experience that with the meals we tried. However, customer service is SUPERB!! we kindly voiced our concerns, and requested a refund(first order). They took care of everything right over the phone. While Trifecta wasnt for us, I still think its A GREAT food plan for health fanatics out there! read more

The food was very expensive. You can cook better food at home for less that 25% of the cost of this and get 5 times the quantity for that cost... The food I spent $160 on I can fix myself for under $30 More importantly... When my order arrived it had been in transit for more than 2 days and the cold packs were completely thawed and my food was warm so I am very concerned that I will become ill if I were to eat it so I eat the cost instead... The concept is great and I'm sure the food is fine, but if you live anywhere that it takes more than 1 day to receive the food, DO NOT ORDER FROM TRIFECTANUTION!!! Also, I've been trying to cancel my "Supscription" as they call it and you cannot do so on the internet. I emailed them and have received no response and when I call, my call is routed to another number where I continuously get a voicemail... I am 2 steps away from reporting them to BBB and calling it a scam! They need to respond to me soon!!!! read more

Absolutely livid with this company. I've been getting meals since November and the ones that do arrive on time come in after 9 at night. Basically since January I've had all my meals 4 total not arrive with no explanation until I call. 4 orders in a row!! Come on now. When I have called they guarantee I will get my meals but they will be late. Even my late meal arrive late. Now this weekend I called early Friday to ask about my meals and I was assured the problem was fixed. Well it wasn't and I received a generic message from the CEO stating they had an influx of orders and couldn't fulfill them all. Seams to me you'd not accept new orders unless you could fulfill your current customers. When you depend on these meals coming in for your meal prep for the week, this completely derails your diet. Especially when you are told they may be a little late but then never arrive. You cannot prepare your own meals when you think they are coming in still. This is the beginning of the year when many set new diet plans and any mess ups like this can really kill people's motivation. read more

I ordered the vegan meals. The day I received my meals I was charged for the next weeks meals. I didn't even have a chance to try the meals before being charged. The meals were not good AND they physically made me SICK! The first time I ate one I kind of thoughts maybe it was something else & not the food. I tried it again the second day & it was ok, the food wasn't horrible, but not very good & my stomach didn't hurt, so I tried again on the third day and once again I was sick. So I immediately asked for a refund as they have a satisfaction guarantee. I was refunded for the order. I tried to give the remaining meals to my family, but they disliked them as well. Since I was charged again before I could try the meals I still had another order coming. I thought maybe the second batch will have better meals and maybe those wouldn't make me sick. I tried one meal from there & again I was sick...so instead of continuing to play Russian roulette with my health I had to throw them all away. I reached out to get a refund since their product made me sick & they basically said you should have skipped the week. I get other meal services & not one charges me without reminding me, or telling me I have until this day & time to make changes to my order before being charged. Their "satisfaction guarantee" is a sham! They charge you before you know their food is crap & if you get sick, too bad so sad, your fault. I asked them again to give me a refund & the completely ignored me. Just like the other reviews I've seen, I too agree they have horrible customer service. read more

I was so excited to try the Classic meal plan. The website was very confusing as to how to change Classic meals orders for the future. I tried on several occasions calling the number provided and waited 20 or more minutes only to get a voicemail box. I also tried chatting and reached Allison a few times. She tried to explain how to change my order but I did not see the button she was referring to on the site. She cut off our chat and emailed me a link. I tried to view it and could not open so I tried chatting with her again and I waited and waited and then the chat window said "no agents are available". I was just chatting with her so I sent emails and I kept getting the same "canned" message in return. I was so frustrated and requested my subscription to be cancelled immediately. No response after SEVERAL tries until I messaged the Better Business Bureau regarding my problems and I received a call from Allison immediately after the BBB contacted Trifecta!
